accomodating spanish personnel street noise
Staff was wonderful. Clean ... great experience. Highly recommend this place. Will go back again when in Berlin.
Very clean, very convenient location at train station, many restaurants around, centrally located. Did not eat at hotel at all. Could not get late check in. Did not try eating at hotel, many options just outside. Best was Dean and David salad bar... very fresh and many variations, just outside on a parallel alley.

Very nice room with nice amenitites Location was difficult to find.
Location is great. Friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast. Clean and very nice rooms. Next to great restaurants and transport. For a 5 star hotel, It seemed to lack some normal things would expect from them. The pool and exercise room were a bit small. No spa or other services on this. No doorman or service staff to bring up luggage. Concierge was only on duty for half the day.
Location Close to Friedrichstreet station Hotel Room should be cleaned better. We found dust on the floor and desktops near the bed. Courtesy of the reception staff can be Improved by simply saying 'Hello' when entering the Lobby.
Hotel was very well located. Close to main attractions, food and shopping and half a block from train station. Staff was helpful. We arrived early after a long train trip and they were able to acomcomodate us. Room was nice too. Room was very hot. We could not turn the heater down. We notified the hotel staff and they were able to lower the temperature a little bit but it was still warm. I woke up with a headache every day. It was the only inconvenience.

Great location, close to train station, close to all of the tourist sites, close to nightlife and restaurants Floors were pretty dirty, it was a little pricey, tv acted up at times, only one shower head setting worked, no directions on how to use room ammenities such as tv, ac controls, ect
Was very impressed by the care, attention to detail, and understanding of the staff at the Adlon Kempinsky Berlin. Sheer luxury not only in material terms, but in humane ones, too.
The hotel is situated in the heart of Berlin and the connection to the international Airport Tegel is very good. The quality of the food, in several restaurants they have, is good but not very good. Therefore the prices of the dishes are way to expensive.
Kayak provided me with an amazing deal to stay at the Adlon Hotel! The room was spectacular: clean with awesome features Like temperature control, super comfortable beds (the most comfy beds I've ever had in a hotel). Breakfast was included...a stunning breakfast buffet including luxury features like Caviar...as well as champagne, Asian fried rice...a lovely buffet!! Our stay at the Adlon was unforgettable and I'm already looking forward to returning there one day! The Adlon hotel is a pricey hotel. Even the prices at the bar reflect that! Nevertheless an awesome place to stay if one likes luxury, cleanliness, and extreme friendly attentiveness from the staff!
Attention to detail. The daily brunch (included in my reservation) was spectacular - the food was not only plentiful but also delicious. On my birthday, I was served champagne with breakfast. Staff. Each staff member was courteous, helpful and most importantly, dedicated to service. If they did not know the answer, they would find it for you. Spa. After my conference I booked a day at the spa - the massage and facial therapists were professional, most capable, and pleasant to spend time with. Food. The onsite restaurants had expectional cuisine and the service was equally matched. I was a guest at the hotel for 5 days/4 nights. My mini-bar was not restocked for 2 days. There were no washcloths (which Americans use); however I was able to obtain them from the spa. Each day you had to create a new WiFi password.
Location of hotel, spa drinks/meals costs high
It's truly a 5 star hotel, it makes your life better! The Bar (itself) in the lobby couldev been fancier, the hotel has A gorgeous lobby but the Bar is just ok. Ritz Carlton has a nicer bar(americain)
Location and helpfulness of consigiere services...landmark and historic hotel
The dining was great.
The service level of your staff!!! excellent!
The ambiance was wonderful. I loved the tasteful decor of the room and the lobby. The location is excellent. I wish the lobby was non-smoking or you would put the smokers in their own section. I couldn't enjoy sitting in the lobby because of all the smoke and therefore missed out on spending time listening to the music and enjoying the lovely setting.
very nice comfortable hotel.reception.food.and launge nothing
It was a marvellous experience from arrival to departure and I would not hesitate to recommend to friends.
Cleanliness, location Resturant was not a good value
I had access to the executive suite which was incredible. The shower was amazing and the TV was very nice. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We felt right at home.
Location, facilities The rooms were not cleaned weel. Children's menu: quite poor including quality of food.
Finding the hotel and parking Goggle maps has wrong location of hotel
Excellent location for a citytrip, near Potsdamer Platz not far from the Brandenburger Tor and the Reichstag.
We were waiting for check in and check out one hour. It is not possible in 5 star hotel, staff in the kitchen was not friendly,
This Marriott is like the hundreds of Marriotts, nothing special. Reikstag is 10 min walk, the main shopping area is 15 min by car. Rooms have lots of space, big windows, comfortable beds.
Great location, great room, great breakfast... Not enough time to use the gym and the swimming pool...
A geat Hotel close to Brandenberg Gate and Check Point Charlie Rooms was the best comfortable and the bathroom was the best facility that I have ever seen. Food was great will go back again in time for the Kris Kindle Mart in the end of November. Greg Greenwood ECC
Comfort staying in the most important part of the city
Nice location, just 2min.walk to the subway station. And we could see the Brandenburger gate and the parliament from the street in front of the hotel. Room was large enough to relax and very clean. The receptionist was so kind and gave much information about Berlin. Nothing.
Great position, excellent breakfast buffet, friendly staff
The great location of the hotel, perfect for sightseeing and shopping. The rich breakfast, and also the helpfull staff. I think the room was a little bit small.Apar from that, all other aspects were from fine to excellent.A very nice and convienient hotel in generall
Lovely lobby, nice bath robes, the room was great! The pool staff was a bit snooty. The breakfast hostess tore up our ticket when we realized that breakfast was an additional 26 Euros per person and decided not to take it.
Cleanliness , friendly staff, location , breakfast /food,very helpful staff Location of the room in proximity to the elevator Not enough towels, shampoo and conditioner Paying for the internet ,( not a big deal , but the fact that it's not free is annoying!
central location no coffee making facilities, no kettle
Room service was great, location was excellent. The staff was not flexible or terribly helpful - other than the concierge. Was surprised I had to pay for wifi in a hotel of this quality.
Wonderful hotel, good location, nice pool and jacuzzi
Comfortable room - very good service
The location. Lack of coffee and tea making facilities in the room.
excellent hotel in former east--good central location; staff friendly and efficient. garden view rooms are quietest and pleasant.
The position of the hotel We were dissappointed there was no tea and coffee facilities in hotel.
Comfort, design, location, elegance, exellent food in restaurant, excludingly comfortable bed, good service
The location was optimal.Breakfast buffet was all one could ask for. The concierge Mr. Lindner was especially friendly and helpful. I definitely would choose to stay there during my next visit.
Very comfortable rooms, Very friendly & helpful staff Room was very quiet & we were able to rest when needed.
Central location so near to railway and access to tourist sites. Helpful staff. No.
Service and flexibiliti. No.
Excellent hotel on a prime location. The two single bed eiderdowns (on the double bed) were a bit too short for my taste. You could clearly hear the rumble of the U-bahn below. Not something to keep you awake at night but still something to get used to.
Excellent location at th heart of the city and transport hubs. Staff friendly and helpful. Would have liked tea /coffee facility in the bedrooms.Maybe more tv and sport options like sky.
Wonderful service, excellent room
Hotel was very well presented and we enjoyed our stay
The helpfulness of all the staff. The quality of the breakfast was excellent. Proximity to the railway station with the express connection to the airport. Within easy access to most of the top sights. The hotel bar was rather dull in the evening time, no atmosphere.
Very good and quiet position. Staff very kind and effective. none
The close proximity to transport, airport transfer, the river and major sites. No complaints
Location, quiet rooms, friendly, happy staff. Deluxe linens. Comfortable beds, warm bathrooms. Staff is eager to please. After two stays at the Regent Berlin I can highly recommended staying there. I will stay there again. Computer in business kiosk a bit slow if you want to print boarding passes. Not of significance to me, but this is the only negative I can come up with.
Great location, beautiful room especially the bathroom and very friendly staff.
The location is superb! So is the lobby of this luxurious hotel. The staff is very friendly and proactive, especially in the restaurant. WiFi is available only at the lobby although is declared to work in the room as well (at lest at the booking.com). The room is spacious but rather non-cosy...
Excellent service. Staff had the correct service attitude.
Thought our room was excellent and location could not have been better.Staff was excellent and very helpful with any requests. I would not recomend getting a massage. Although I booked an hour for a total body massage, which I confirmed with the massuse prior to his starting he only did my back and head. When I inquired after why he did not turn me over to do the other side, he said for that I needed to book an hour and a half. What a rip off. Certainly not in keepimg with the standards of a Regent Hotel.
Nice old style luxury
Luxory hotel , comfortable positions and room, but it was a better service when it used to be four seasons bad service, room with candies on the floor..
We liked best that everything was taking care of. They have a TAO and really live up to it. Splendid.
excellent service WLAN in lobby area only
excellent staff and excellent food and excellent services- cleanliness -comfort
The hotel is beautiful and very conveniently located. The staff was very friendly and helpful; and the room was immaculate. Highly recommend.
Best breakfast buffet I have ever seen!!
Excellent location, comfortable room, cosy hotel - not too large The fitness room is poorly equipped. Part of the rooms face the Friedrichstrasse railway station.
Great location right across the street from the Freidrich Strasse S-Bahn and U-Bahn station. The staff recommended several great places within walking distance for dinner. Construction during our stay caused some early morning noise. Probably not a problem any other week of the year.
washroom was really clean ..like home Breakfast hall was too noisy and breakfast slightly too expensive, 15 Euros could be optimum
Comfortable, quiet room on backside, with big bed. Central location. A bed reading lamp was broken (repaired the next day), and the middle window blinds did not function (not repaired). Staff has no clue about shops and restaurants in the neighbourhood, apart from the Starbucks next door. There are excellent traditional coffee places around, much unlike the neigbours, but one has to discover these oneself. No free wireless on the room.
Location. Wifi should have been free. Didn't like having to share tables at breakfast.
unbeatable location -literally at the steps to the major U bahn and S bahn station in historic Friedrichstrasse We were unlucky with our room (2nd floor facing the railway track, exceptionally noisy) Last time we stayed our room was a few floors higher and faced out onto Friedrichstrasse itself which was much quiter.
Excellent location, in the same block of the Underground station and opposite the train station. Main attractions are within walking distance. Staff was friendly and we could agree a late check-out. Nothing
the location was excellent and the rooms were comfortable and clean the staff were not helpfull or polite.
The staff was very friendly/helpful. The hotel is very well located - within 100 yards of the Friedrichstrasse train station. There are many nice restaurants within walking distance and it is very well located for sightseeing For a hotel of this class and price, one would think that Internet access would be free. Also, wireless access is not available in all the rooms.
Central location, the staff were friendly and helpful, all the rooms were clean and comfortable, the hotel has a very modern design and feel. The food and drink, especially breakfast, was very expensive
Stayed here during Berlin Marathon weekend. Chosen it because of location (500m from the start/finish). Very nice and convenient place. Overpriced, though. After booking I emailed hotel and asked whether the late check-out option is available. Was told that at some additional fee like 30-40 euros it is. However on Marathon weekend they cancelled that feature, which I knew only after arriving. Had to check out early - put some disorder in my plans.
Nice staff, polite and helpful. I think it's an expensive hotel and it needs refurbishment. It doesn't look like a 4*hotel (e.g. no shoe polisher, no tea/coffee in the room, the room smelled as if somebody had just smoked before I arrived, thou I had specifically asked for a no smoking room etc.)
We were given a suite which we hadn't booked but was perfect for a family with a sofa bed for our 2 year old and a cot for our baby. lots of space and comfort as a result. one of the reasons we chose the hotel was for the swimming pool which we thought would be nice with children. Unfortunately it was freezing cold, too cold for the baby and our 2 year old was shivering for an hour after using it!
Thhe Breakfast Buffet was fine! The Hotel is really old and you see it in any corner! The carpets are from the 70´s the curtains were so dirty and even damaged! It was difficult to close the curtains to get darkness in the room to sleep. Even the uniforms of the staff were obviously used and old like the carpets! Not a good feeling to stay in that house.
Swimming pool Cigarette smoke smell
Staff members greeted us warmly and the lobby looked very luxe, so it was a good first impression. We found the room and bathroom to be very clean and of a good size for two people - not spacious, but pretty similar to most American budget chain hotel room sizes. The bathroom had a large countertop area for toiletries, and it was great to have some chairs in the room, too, so we didn't have to sit on the bed all the time. Sure, the carpet looked worn, but nothing else looked shabby and it didn't affect our comfort level at all. We always hung the "do not disturb" sign on the door overnight and were never bothered by housekeeping. Plus, the location was perfect - a block in one direction to the metro, and a block in the other direction to the bus. It was extremely convenient to get around, and close to plenty of restaurants, shops and things to do and see. We got an excellent deal on .Price..line. and were very happy with our stay. The water temperature in the shower fluctuated a bit during peak showering times. Also, the mattresses were harder than I'd like and thus not that comfortable for me, but that is subjective. Pillows were quite flat, but they happily sent us more when we asked.
friendly atmosphere, helpfull staff using the internet computer together with printer didný work. staff was helpfull to give me another opp.
The hotel room smelled like smoke despite the staff leaving the window open. The room was tiny and the bed was practically a pull out. I use Kayak to book hotels and was disappointed by this choice especially considering the extremely high price I pay of over 350 dollars for a small twin bed.
Closeness to the start/finish of the Berlin Marathon Swiming pool water was very cold.
I liked the pool and that they had bikes for rent. It was close to a lot of things which was very nice. Housekeeping woke us up every morning at 10 am. When I'm on vacation I don't want people coming into my room and waking me up. Any other hotel I've stayed in they don't start housekeeping until noon or so but I guess that's how it is here in Germany. The shower wasn't draining but they fixed that the last day we were there.
very beatutiful. convenient for my purpose, good facilitie including pool, lounge with interent access
The room facilities are excellent, and the location is very good, whlst the staff are very helpful and friendly. The room was warm despite all heating being switched off. Because it is a boarding house as opposed to a hotel, the other facilities are very limited, and there is not a great dal of streetlife in the immediate surroundings.
Very good location, perfect room and excellent value for money.
Roomy and pleasant Very small parking spaces
Very stylish, modern rooms with lots of room and facilities to cook in a small kitchen corner. Quiet (8th floor). Secure building. Excellent location. The service at the reception could be friendlier and is limited to the hours of 7am to 10 pm. This is more suitable for long-term stays than for a one night's stay.
Everything was just wonderful The only little thing was the heating was just too hot
Position, size of the room, mini-kitchen in the room. Never stay in this hotel on Friday-Sunday! You will be awaken at 2-3a.M. by the awful voices of hundred teenagers from the street. Usually they drink in the bar at first and then go outdoors to continue relaxing (till 5-6a.M.). No police to stop them!!!
room size, facilities, location
Well equipped modern, comfortable and spacious room in a very interesting area in Berlin. Close to transport and within easy walking distance of art galleries, historical sites and quality shops, restaurants etc. Very friendly and helpful staff. A few little quirks, nothing to stop a recommendation.
big, comfortable room breakfast was out of hotel on Sunday
We were in a light, airy and extremely well-appointed contemporary suite on the top floor. Loved the superb location - central, but quiet with all the key sites so close - and the underfloor heating in the bathroom! Thankfully we were rescued on our first night by staff at the Italian restaurant Sagrantino next door who called out an off-site security man when our reservation wasn't recognised on the external automated reservation machine (it was past 10 o'clock so reception was closed). Also the side of the bath (shower over) is so high it's almost lethal getting in and out and therefore wouldn't be suitable for anyone less able.
The very cosy and comfortable suite and a great music surround in the suite with excellent radio receiver. Nice bath with Occitane samples, great kitchen, very clean and cosy. That you have to return the key and they tell you that when you want to leave on the back of the hotel which caused me some troubles as I was in a hurry. Than I forgot a gift for my daughter and now I have to pay for the postage to get it. It should be excuse from the hotel and sent in on their expense. Also the communication after I forgot the package was bad - nobody returned me a call or wrote an e-mail telling me - we have found your staff and we´ll send it to you...
The location is perfect. Easy access to many sights. Stadmitte U Bahn station at the doorstep. Walking distance to many historic sites and great neighborhoods. Many food options close by. Brauhaus in the complex (not in the hotel). The "hotel" has limited services and it is more of a serviced apartment setup. We discovered the mixed use complex was designed by the renowned Architect - JP Kleihues (notable buildings in the reconstructed Berlin and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago). We rented a Management Suite and it worked out wonderfully for our family of 3. It was a spacious (very spacious by european standards) two room suite with separate WC and bathroom. There is a great amount of built in storage for clothes and luggage. Our unit had a nice balcony accessible from the bedroom and the living room. The unit had a kitchenette with ample dishes, fridge, microwave and dishwasher. But with so many restaurant options, why cook at home?? We arrived in Berlin quite early in the morning and pleaded with the desk to let us have our room early, but no chance. We left our bags and set out to explore in a very jet lag state. Official check-in is 15.00 so don't expect to receive your room anytime before. The staff was kind enough to offer us the lounge to relax and wait for our room. We were briefed on all of the properties services and when we were escorted to our room, our luggage was already there. This property is a very good value and suited our needs perfectly.
The stay was very pleasant, however, I do think that the breakfast was a bit overpriced. Also maybe they should have some flexibility on the check out time, not by much but by an hour or so would be great.
Silence Service, price
Quality of suite and furniture. And location was great. Staff were very helpful. Free use of the fitness centre
delux room, clear, very close to the underground station (just few steps),comfortable bed...staff are helpful and polite... wi fi is not popular and limited (by request for free 1 hr). it should be free of charge as the room rate is not cheap. Even not in-room wifi, but should be free in common area.
prime location, spacious room, room decoration and style
That's what we wanted for Berlin. All of our expectations were met !!
Superb location, spacious room, nice bed, hardly any noise from the street below. Nothing really - except that the breakfast (which was very good) perhaps was a little expensive at EUR 17. Nice view, though.
We enjoyed the fact that the suite was spacious and very clean. The location is perfect for a city/cultural trip. There was nothing that we did not like.
Everything was excellent Nothing
Our suite was large and very comfortable. The location was perfect for sightseeing and shopping. The staff was courteous, but didn't go out of their way to be helpful. It was only when I expressed frustration about the operating hours for the business center and laundry room, that they became more accomodating.
Nice location, friendly staff, great breakfast and reasonable price.
It was in an excelent location and the breakfast was superb The male receptionist I met when I first arrived, was quiet short with me. However, every other member of staff was exceptional. First impressions mean alot!!!
The reception staff were always very friendly and helpful. Excellent location - very close to the Friedrich-strasse station and within a comfortable walking distance of the Reichstag and Brandenberg Gate. The breakfasts were excellent - top quality food and plenty of it!
Friendly staff. Car parking means public car parking and they don't gurantee if there was a space or not.
It was very quiet and cleen. No
Excellent option for business travel, courteous and helpful staff, flexibility compared with original reservation.
Our room was ready on arrival at 10 am. We did not have to wait until 2 pm, which was a huge benefit. The location was ideal for seeing all the main sights of Berlin and the rooms comfortable and clean. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. However, as we have found in the past in hotels, the cooked breakfast was not particularly hot. It would have been handy to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room but appreciate that many hotels in Europe do not always offer that facility.
Sight see. The Hotel is very central and within easy walking distance of both u & S Bahn and buses.
People "special" pleasant. Both staff in the reception desk and service. The room is very clean og the bed very good. When I cam again to Berlin will choose Albrechtshof and very likely room number 325.
The hotel staff were very helpful and quick at responding to requests
Location is great, rooms are very nice and comfortable
This hotel has a big cool factor. Our room looked like something out of Austin Powers our sons room was completely different and probably nicer. Great hotel. Great location. Great staff. Some rooms very close to the train tracks. Stay in the courtyard rooms.
very nice room, tidy and clean, internet access for free very close to the railway tracks, which can be quite noisy
Nice interior. Poor breakfast
The rooms were individual and very clean. It was in a beautiful building with quirky details. The staff were friendly and made excellent recommendations and helped with locating things on the map. We will definately return to this lovely hotel.
Central location with easy/quick access to public transport; very friendly and helpful staff; clean if simple facilities Small room; no clock, radio or TV; breakfast also not included so, all things considered, the price seemed high
This would have to be one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. My room was great. The service was fantastic.
The rooms were very clean and well equipped and the unusual art work gave the hotel a lot of character, very different from chain hotels. Nothin
Unusual art, quiet rooms, location, bathrooms, overall nice design no elevator in one building
Very good location and stylish room. There is no lift in the hotel.
I like this hotel!!i plan to stay in this hotel at my next trip.
