The spa facilities were lovely.Staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. parking is expensive if you can't get in the hotel car park and you will get a parking ticket if you leave your car outside the hotel.
Great location, helpful friendly staff, excellent breakfast. Will definitely stay at the Relexa Hotel Stuttgarter Hof again, no complaints at all
the location of the hotel and quietness the room was very hot but we opened the windows and it was bearable
great room, very helpful staff, convenient location no airconditioning we could find, no milk provided in room for making tea
Silence Everything was just fine
everything. A good relaxed hotel on a good location with good service
staff were very helpful, had a lovely room, location excellent near everything that we wanted to see.would recommend highly
Very friendly and service minded staff. No problem in staying at this hotel with a little child - high chairs etc., and staff kept smiling, even though leaving a mess after breakfast, thanks ;-) Great food from the hotel restaurant - comfortable with room service.
the hotel was good, 10 - 15 mins walk to a shopping mall. nice breakfast as well. We were upgraded to a superior room. :) a bit far from main attractions, but Berlin is very spread out so you will need to take a train to main attractions, cant really walk it
centrally located, but still very quiet, roooms nice and comfortable, friendly and helpful staff bar could be opened earlier than 6 p.m.
Breakfast was excellent. The U station only a few step from hoteldoor is a godsend. The guys in the lobby were all very helpful and efficient Acctually no.
Great location close to Check Point Charlie. Friendly staff, well furnished, comfortable and clean rooms. Quiet. No bath
Excellent all round facility. Great location.
location near metro station; bright clean comfy room; friendly helpful staff hard to avoid getting water all over the bathroom floor when showering
The breakfast, the location and the room
Excellent hotel, helpful staff fantastic place to stay.
Front desk staff very friendly, informative and helpful. Rooms very comfortable although could have used some extra pillows. No tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms and room service for tea ridiculously over-priced. €8 for two teabags and 2 mugs of hot water. The cafe across the road makes better tea for a lot less. Had book a double and got two single beds pushed together. This is not too bad but the two single duvets were far too small.
Googd breakfast and space in the room Lack of drinking water in the bedrooms free of charge
The hotel was comfortable, quiet and in a perfect location. N/A
Very good value, good location next to the Kochstrasse U-Bahn station and of course, Checkpoint Charlie. Clean, quiet rooms.
Very clean accomodation. The housekeeping is excellent. Decent sized rooms. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Pleasant and respectful reception staff who were quite helpfull. The reception staff kindly allowed me to keep the room on for an extra couple of hours when I had to visit a doctor on my check-out day. Reasonable location that is fairly convenient for Anhalter Bahnhof U-Bahn station which was about 5-7 minutes away. Netto and Aldi supermarkets are within 100 metres away. No tea and coffee in rooms. The staff at reception that I spoke to only spoke very basic English. The internet access in the foyer was expensive; unless you brought your own lap top. Bath towels were on the small size. The shower head was loose and would not tighten. The title of the hotel 'NH Berlin Potsdamer Platz' is confusing as the hotel is quite a distance from the Potsdamer Platz square. Pillows were not substantial. The reception staff gave me the name and address of a doctor who was no longer in practice. It would not take much effort to have updated their records. In truth the surrounding area is not the most salubrious. Many people might find the TV/Radio hard to operate. The English plug adaptor 'rented' from reception didn't wo
Good location, close to public transport, room with everything you need for a short city trip, extensive breakfast, very helpful and pleasant service at arrival and during stay.
It's good hotel for short visit in Berlin, it's new , clean and very good breakfest Small room and lobby, it's no mini bar ,
The room was very chic and clean. The breakfast was excellent. It was four or five blocks to a Metro. Mattresses were too firm for my liking. Check in was slow. Staff was very young and still learning...
The really helpful staff and nice breakfast. Everybody of the staff was young and everybody of them was kind and helpful.
it was a clean and good value for money hotel. althought on a rather large avenue it was very quite. professional place to stay. on the last day we had to queu up for breakfast, perhaps they do not have enough tables to accomodate all when the hotel is fully booked?
good location, modern and clean hotel, good service, nice staff and great b'fast
I liked that the Hotel was clean, the staff very friendly and the room was so quiet we had a great sleep. We travelled with two children so this was very important.
Excellent breakfast, the room are good size and so are the bathrooms. Close to S-Bahn station, and 15 min walking from the main attractions!!!!
Good location, polite staff, clean and nice rooms, comfort.
The location was the reason we picked it but the hotel was very nice. It has large rooms and i liked even the backyard view. I think it is very nice for the price it has. I think wireless internet should be priced lower and breakfast , or make a room price including both of them in with a discount so you dont have to pay 58 euros for 2 persons a day extra.
Close to a metro system and also close to the bus that takes you to the train station in less then 20 mins. Overall, great location. Also the hotel itself is pretty neat, the room has high ceilings and comfy bed. Friendly staff.
Style of the rooms and quality of food. There is no lounge.
A classy hotel with pleasant staff. Excellent quality for a four star hotel
1: it was very cold in the room. 2 : breakfast was with waiter and very little (even for a woman) 3:the impression was that they want your money for everything (turn on your TV and.........message and prices, look at the table..... prices) not even free coffee 4 € ?!?!?!
very nice room, nice bar for a late night drink poor location in regards to other top hotels in berlin, if youre looking to stay in mitte, other than that very nice hotel
Location We reserved a room for three. The hotel added an extra bed to the room which was terrible (squeaking and extremely not comfortable). We asked them to change the bed, but things did not improve. The room is very small and the walls of the bathroom are somewhat transparent. This does not fit 3 people. We cannot recommend this hotel. At least not for more than 2 people.
Amazing hotel and with am amazing hotel restaurant!! A must when staying in germany.
We liked that the hotel was not too big and the staff were friendly; also a great location no nearby laundry facilities and in house laundry expensive
Good service, nice room and convenient hotel location No swimming pool
Great Service Nothing
Good hotel, new, modern, well run. Good breakfast, good internet, comfortable rooms. Local area is dull and empty, but there's an S-Bahn station directly opposite, so local transport is relatively easy. Also an U-Bahn not too far away.
Very conveniently situated near checkpoint Charlie, U bahn, jüdisches Museum
Wifi didn't work at all. The room smelled funny and was much smaller than expected. Staff was polite but not particularly friendly.
Well located for points of interest around east berlin Very little night life in the area
Staff attitude/ closeness to Subway/ design/ cleanliness
Great location Nightly rate more than doubled for our second night there, we did not stay
Rooms were spotlessly clean and a nice touch was the complimentary fruit basket. Easy to reach all main attractions. Everyone we met was very helpful and we had no problems at all. We bought one day travel cards and made full use of them on the Ubahn, Sbahn and bus. There were lots of places around the hotel for breakfast and a lovely restaurant around the corner for dinner.
Clean, friendly, good value for money Not enough staff at the reception during check-out time in de morning. Staff not handling the crouded situation of waiting customers very well.
clean room and bathroom pc at the lobby was a little too slow
Free wifi at lobby. Pillows were a little soft.
The breakfast was excellent, and the location is very convenient for most Berlin sights. The decor and feel of the hotel is forgettable. The service is polite but perfunctory.
The greatest quality of the hotel it is the location. Though placed in the middle of the touristic center of Berlin, it is located on a nice residential street, thus being the best place to relax after trying to see all 170 :) museums of this great city.
The room was clean, spacious and airy. There was no noise from other rooms or from the street. The breakfast buffet was good. The staff were friendly and were more than efficient, often going out of their way to be helpful. No dislikes.
Clenliness, friendliness of the staff, central position of the hotel in Berlin The noise from the street below
The location was really good - very convenient for everything and in a very nice area of Berlin. The room was airy and spacious and the beds were very clean and comfortable. The decor in the hotel was very good and the whole place had a very nice feel to it.
All the staff, at reception, in the bar/restaurant and cleaning ladies etc., were pleasant, affable and helpful. Everyone was happy and smiling and their warmth and enthusiasm was infectious. From the moment we arrived (the check in proceedure is quick and unfussy) we were made to feel at home, comfortable and relaxed. Our visit was the occasion of a "special" birthday. so the addition of flowers, and other "goodies", in our room was an absolute delight. The room itself was bright, spacious, unfussy and clean with a large ensuite bathroom. The location is very convenient with various local attractions within walking distance and the nearest U-Bahn is just around the corner. We have stayed in several city hotels in Europe over the last few years and would say that our visit to Hotel Riehmers Hofgarten is up there with the best. As a 3* hotel it compares equally, if not better than, some 5* hotels in other capital cities.
It was nice, clean and a very service-minded staff. The breakfast was excellent, but they should cover the breakfast things. It became dry: cheese. salomon and so on.
The friendly and courteous staff from the front desk to housekeeping. I think that an extra towel in the room would be helpful; even a single.
Location was good for the purpose of the trip Street outside the hotel should be left free for guest coming with car. This would fasilitate better checking in receiving key for garage and then parking the car.
This was my second stay at the hotel within a period of a few months. Everything that was mentioned in my first review applies equally now. When we return to Berlin for another visit we will certainly stay there again.
The reception staff were excellent and went out of their way to give us any information we needed. We loved the flowers, wine and card they gave us to make our 30th wedding anniversary very special. The dinner menu in the restaurant was limited.
Very good location, close to S-Bahn and many of the city's main attractions. I stayed in the 3 persons room, which is spacious and very comfortable. Highly recommended!
Very helpful staff. Breakfast could include a bit more variety and options.
Breakfast arrangement was odd. Croissants were free, but you had to buy jam and butter for €0.5 per item, and fruit juices were extra too.
Really liked the spacious roon with the room divider. The location is very good. Nothing I really disliked.
The room was big and I liked its design. Even though you don't pay for breakfast you can still have coffee and some kind of cookie in the main hall. Mattress was a little hard but that can be a good point for some.
Big, clean rooms, locations was excellent too
The location was central and close to the main destinations, the room was confortable and funky. The staff at reception rarely smile and were not very helpful and friendly when providing directions exept for one employee. The hotel does not have a room service for food and the bar closes early.
Good sized room with good facilities, 100m from S Bahn station, close to local shops (Aldi, bakery etc.). Walking distance from Potsdamer Platz.
The staff were friendly and very helpful No wireless internet service in the rooms
Its location, the comfort, the huge bathroom and bathtube, the separation between the bathroom and the toilets, the space in the room
Staff were very helpful and really friendly. No complaints.
Amazing shower...and such a clean, comfortable bed
The respectful and kindness of the staff No phone in the rooms, No tea and coffee.
near centrum, very good. there is not a private parking place, that belongs to the hotel.
Room was quiet, clean and pleasantly decorated. Bed very comfortable. The weather was very cold for some of our stay and the heating system coped well - we were always warm enough without the overpowering stuffiness I've experienced in some hotels. Rooms have flatscreen TV and hairdryers. They do supply shower gel and we got clean towels every day. We didn't try the breakfast but had coffee from the bar in the lobby some evenings and it was fine. Located right beside a U-bahn station, so convenient for everywhere. Very good value for money. Though you have everything you need, the hotel's run on a pared-to-the-bone budget basis. No phones in the rooms to contact the desk meant that there was always a number of people hovering at the desk with enquiries and staff, while very friendly and capable, sometimes seemed under pressure. There's no wardrobe space in the rooms - just an open rail around the mirror and I wasn't mad about the sink being in the bedroom. It takes a bit of exploring to find the nicer parts of Kreuzberg - there are a lot of bars and fast food joints around the corner on Oranienstrasse, but walk up to Oranienplatz and beyond for pleasanter, more grown-up restaurants.
central location, quiet, clean and modern. Great place if the main purpose is to visit the city and not spend much time in the hotel.
That it is next to a U-Bahn station. The modern look of the hotel. That it was so fantastic clean! The breakfast. That You had the feeling like You where staying in a cigarbox.
The price was good compared to what we got
Good location. Breakfast.
Close to Moritz Platz U Bahn station. Liddl store is nearby for fruit and other necessities. Finding the Motel at 40 Prinzen Strasse was difficult. It appears that it is not on Prinzenstrasse , but continuation . There seems to be a problem with numbering.
I was disappointed that I did not receive a discount or money off when my hotel key card would not work due to the battery pack being out of battery. My luggage was locked in my room, I was stranded outside and had to wait 30 minutes before the door could be opened. I then had to switch rooms and pack up and un pack all of my belongings.
The breakfast was good. It was in a nice location- near the underground. The room was clean and comfortable. There was neither a bar in the hotel, nor a restaurant. Just a soft drinks automatic maschine that was not cheap.
No fitness room or facility, although the hotel offered a reduced rate visit to a nearby fitness center.
Friendly and helpful staff, room well maintained, good shower & bathroom Having to change lifts when entering the hotel to access the room
good comfortable clean rooms nothing
efficient and clear; staff very knowledgable and helpful
The location near a train station was an excellent feature of the hotel which made it easy to get to from the beginning. The friendliness of the staff and the well appointed rooms made my stay a very comfortable one.
Easy to get back and forward to centre Very clean , We had a room at the back of the hotel and it was very peaceful. The staff also were helpful.
ideal for stay in Berlin, would like to recommend it, free parking, good breakfast, good rooms, good location in city center near U-Bahn the price of wireless internet access is too high 8 euro for an hour
Very good breakfest, nice personal, good location near to tube. Also clean room. I could recomand. Not enough regular parking places, had to park on muddy path.
Simple but beautiful attractively styled rooms. Quiet location. Good price.
The staff at the hotel was excellent and went out of their way to help us with any problems(to mention one the temperature in our room was unbearable until we were provided with a fan). The hotel isn't exactly at the best location, but there is a u-bahn station literally right across the street.
the breakfast was good but expensive
Hotel of a high standard and within walking distance of many attractions. Nearest U bahn only five minutes walk.
the service, room and personal yes, the WLAN was not included and when I asked, it was very expensive, although, I book the hotel with WLAN and brakefast, but breakfast was extra cost to my bill.
Although hotel is situated in a location which is on first impression a bit remote, the hotel itself was well renovated, good service, staff was friendly and spoke very good English. Rooms are very clean, bathroom modern and well equipped. Rooms are not spacious, so may be less good for family with small children. Public transport (U-bahn, two lines) on 50 meters of hotel, free parking before hotel. Potzdammerplatz is on walking distance (15 min) We did not use the breakfast mainly due to high price of 13 Euro. Cheaper possibilities downtown ( Subway, Starbucks, Dunkin donuts, and of course "Die Konditorei"). But this is actually the only negative remark. Price/quality for a 3 star hotel was therefore very good
I liked the customer service, the room was very comfortable and clean. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and if I come back to Berlin I will have no hesitation in using this hotel again. The only negative was that the bistro menu was very limited and the food service stopped at 23:00.
It's very "regular" hotel. I was in some Mercure hotels in Europe, and this hotel was the most poor hotel of this brand. It was more like "Ibis" or even "Etap" hotels in other places in Europe. But good location, and clean rooms make it good choice for low budget. The breakfast was not in level of "Mercure" brand...The room was really small and hot.
location too small room
Great breakfast, proximity of U-Bahn, quiet neighbourhood
Very helpfull and kind staff - great breachfast - very clean - very good service overall No
The breakfast and the location spartan
The room was clear, the breakfast was excellent and more than enough. The hotel was approx. 7 min. walk from first SBahn.
Handy location, close to the centre of Berlin. Clean room. Reasonably priced. Nice punk bar out back. Unfriendly staff. Maybe smiles cost extra here.
The rooms were very good and peaceful refurbished. Bathroom was wonderful with a powerful shower. Location is ideal for a city trip. Entrance need some refurbishing
Everything! The hotel was easily accessible by train, the room was fairly large and well furnished, the breakfast was good, the bathroom was very clean and new, and the price was incredible. I would definitely go back and send my friends as well.
cheap, close to destination stinks a bit
Very clean and comfortable, nice breakfast, lots of local information. Fair price, gay friendly Housekeeping came in an hour before check out
I liked that it included breakfast
Convenient location Food was terrible and the waiter/bartender at night was terrible.Everyone else that worked their was fine. The guy would forget orders, bring out food with flies on it. Like it almost felt like a joke by the last night how bad he was.
Large room. Quiet
good location, reasonable price
The hotel is located very close to Anhalt Station and there is a market right in front, across the street. The staff is very polite and always able to help you. Excellent rooms and amazing breakfast.
Within walking distance to many must see visitor sites in Berlin. Also close to rail & bus for easy access to airport and other places to visit Satyed here in November. Hotel is well lit up in the evening but street outside often felt quite dark. Not lots of lively places on this street. Still felt safe enough in a group of 3 to walk home at night.
Location, room was quiet, breakfast, aircon, cleanliness of room Narrow beds, hard pillows, design of bathroom - after showering, the whole floor was permanently wet
Clean hotel and sentral location, good breakfast Very long name, almost impossible to remember :-) We would pay in the bar with 50 euro, didn't have money to give back
Close to an excellant city centre and s-bahn. Easy access for sights and shopping. Basic, clean and good facilities for a budget stay!!! Thought it was great and would stay there again.
Convenient location and and parking facilities, good internet access Inefficient lift syste, not very effectiv air conditoning.
The staff were very helpful and friendly and my roo was very clean. N/A
The hotel is fine due to its location at the center of Berlin. The staff is very easy going and it has a very good breakfast. The room is a little small when it is used for a couple with a child or a third person.
location, cleanliness and helpful and friendly staff lack of any vegatables on breakfast buffet
It is an extremely friendly place, very convenient for going around Berlin and the staff are well informed to help when asked, e.g. times of trains to Berlin Schoenefeld for the friends I was with at the weekend. The breakfast is great to start the day and it is pleasant area to sit and enjoy a drink and wait for friends to arrive.
The room was very clean, functional, comfortable. The staff were very nice and helpful. Nice spacious shower and I liked the lay out of the room. I found the room a bit warm and the switch for the fan did not seem to work. The towels were a bit thin but this is a very minor point.
I liked the situation, near Postdamer Platz, and S bahn Anhalter Bahnhof The lift is very noisy
Friendly helpful staff. Food was good quality and well prepared. Room clean and functional no frills. Good value for money.
The hotel was super. We were 20 women and they could not have been more helpful arranging taxis etc for us all at any time and answering our frequent questions. It was a party for a friend getting married and she has also said that she couldn't have asked for a better weekend to send her into married life, so thank you very much.
Nice room, good view, calm and clean. Good breakfast but expensive. The pillows were very uncomfortable, too big and too hard. The window above the internet in the lobby shouldn t be open when windy or cold.
Breakfasts, location Staff very unfriendly and unhelpful
Rate versus location Extremely small bathrooms.
Good value, good location I had to wait an hour for my simple meal to be served at dinner onfri 1 june. When i complained the pretty waitress said that she had just 15 minutes to satisfy me ( the hotel rule ). however, I settled for a free glass of wine.
