Easy pick up and drop off. Conveniently located right in arrivals area. My main complaint is they left the windows part way down and it was raining when we arrived. Driver seat was soaked and passenger seat slightly wet. Also, car was not cleaned very well. Empty water bottle in back as well as cup holders had crumbs/sticky stuff in them.Reviewed Jul 1 2025

I went to pick up the vehicle in New Haven. They told me the car type and to walk out to the lot to find it. Found the vehicle and it was FILTHY! The outside was filthy but the inside was worse. Food and crumbs and trash everywhere. All surfaces were dirty and sticky. It smelled like vomit in the vehicle as well. I flagged down a worker and showed him and he said he would vacuum quick. He literally only vaccumed of the seats and then gave the car back. Did not offer to switch out vehicles. He said that the night staff forgot to clean it. I ended up having to stop and clean it myself and wipe all surfaces down instead. Still food and trash on the floors so threw out the trash. The vehicle continued to have a horrible odor making it an awful experience to use for three days. Will definitely not ever rent from New Haven Budget ever again.Reviewed Jun 23 2024
