Budget has definitely become more budget over the years. My “upgraded” car was not Apple CarPlay equipped (1st time in years of renting that I’ve seen this). Wasn’t explained to me so of course I didn’t opt for gps feature. Turned into a bit of a mess as I was trying to navigate off my phone. Check in was quick, but not helpful in any meaningful was. Car was rather beat up. Scratches/dents/intetior all showing age. Drop off was supreme. I’ll give them that.Reviewed May 25 2026

The first car a Yaris hybrid: in three successive days the battery lost power to start on the first two days. On the third day the brake did not disengage and he pre-collusion device fail (according to a rental company empoyee. I lost four days of salmon fishing in Ireland. I had to drive 2 hours to Knock airport west to exchange for a new car. When I returned the latter I was charged for 5 areas of damage on it which had already been delineated the the second rental agreement I had ben given. What a disaster ! Not worth my time and money. Your Є2K deposit is unnecessary and a way to force people to buy the expensive insurance. Also, you took Є2,200 instead of actually Є2K. I also extended the day to return the car on and it was literally half the price of the previous 6 days. Disgusting.Reviewed Sep 28 2022
