Cons:I drove 35 minutes from Danville to Oakland to pick up a van and then I had reserved. When I got there the lady at the counter did not even look up to acknowledge me. I stood there for about five minutes and then approached her and said am I at the correct counter for budget? She then asked what she could do for me. Then she told me that they did not have any cars available. She told me that I could sit down and wait to see what happens or come back later. Worst car rental experience ever. I left without a car.

Pros:I actually had a very bad experience. The worst nightmare for anyone, especially when. You book a week ahead of pick up and looking for to you trip, and then you get told we don't have what you want and may not have it until after the long weekend, after waiting for more then an hour. They told me to speak to the manager, even more rude. The car I was waiting for was waiting outside for 45 minutes, the manager took another customer who ahead turned up 5 minutes ago, where I had been waiting for an hour. I have nothing against any race, but am Indian and the customer was white. This manager took the customer to the car and the customer didn't want it, so at this point I was getting mad and calling other companies, the manager came back and said I have a car for you. Now where did the car come from??? I called enterprise they had something waiting, but this manager was very rude and didn't have any apology or anything. I went with him to finish of the final paper work he wanted all the payment up front. Normally you would pay on return. In the end I just walked out of here. The worst place for customer service. I think he was racist.

Cons:Customer service was awful. The truck smelt of weed and was badly damaged on all sides. The truck only had 19k miles on the odometer and the engine was tinny and the suspension is busted.

Cons:They had the door open at the office and it was freezing. We were standing there for a few minutes waiting to be helped. The customer service rep insisted we get a different car from the one we had originally booked but we were fine with what we booked...she continued to insist not suggest and so we went with the bigger car and larger cost. They gave us the keys and told us to pick up the car at the designated space in the parking lot. We weren't sure in what direction to go, as the parking lot was pretty big, and when we asked the customer service rep repeated the number of the space and was not able to properly direct us on where to go. Thankfully it was 4 of us traveling and we were able to allocate the letter and numbered spot.

Pros:The mini-van was comfortable to ride and great on mileage. It sucks that it wasn't what I reserved.
Cons:I reserved a full size SUV and I was initially given a Pathfinder. The interior front seats had white stains on them. The passenger door had soda stains on it. I complained and they took the car to clean it. It came back wet from a car wash? Interior was untouched and still dirty. Only after I pointed out that it still wasn't clean and asked for a second time to get a different car, did I get a Toyota Sienna mini-van. Disappointed by the presentations of their available fleet on a major holiday weekend (4th of July). For the price I was charged, I was expecting more from Budet.

Cons:My flight arrived in OAK at 12:00 midnight, but the rental confirmation defaulted to a pick-up time of 11:00 pm because the Car Rental Office closes at 12:30 am...as I result of getting to the office “the next day” (an hour after my confirmation) I “lost” my reservation and had to pay more!
