Value of Money
Pros: I did not like the customer service. The representative that walked me through the "sales" process was vague about the day to day charges for tolls, gas, etc. I repeatedly told her that did not want any extra services and wished to have the car that was quoted to me. I ended up paying an extra $150 dollars at the end of the trip because of it. My experience was not enjoyable and I will not be renting with your company for the rest of my life.

Will never use Enterprise.... ever!!!!
Cons: The salesman was rude and I'm petty sure racist, to my sister and I. He was no help whatsoever. Why would kayak reserved a car for me and the salesman tell me that there is nothing to rent me. Somebody screwed up. Messed up my plans and ruined my wife's birthday. F**k you enterprise. I will never use this car rental company ever again.

Nicely done, Broomfield!
Pros: Great customer service from Broomfield employees.
For an additional fee, I dropped off the fee at DIA - a great benefit. When I dropped off the car, attendant clarified charges - another example of great customer service. Charges were more than anticipated; at her suggestion, I phoned the Broomfield office and those charges were quickly re-calculated and email receipt sent to me.
Cons: Car was not so clean when I first rented it.

Pros: Great service. They even gave me the choice of a bigger car because they had no more compacts, and I loved it. Of course, for the same price I had made the reservation. Good overall service, fluent.
Pros: I booked in the wrong city, which I discovered when I arrived to Enterprise. They ended up rebooking me at the airport, no questions asked and no fees, which made my day. The car was in good condition, and I received an upgrade for free.

Enterprise was Awesome. Kayak was terrible.
Pros: Enterprise was excellent. Great service. Great car. No problems.
Cons: Be careful when you book your rental car. I thought I was booking at the airport, but Kayak showed me the numbers for booking down town Denver. Make sure your pickup/drop off is correct. Kayak told me it would cost $24 per day. It was actually $50 per day to rent from the airport.

Pros: Pick up service was good, fast and friendly.
Cons: We were supposed to have a 4 door scar and got a 3 door, which we did not like as we had two elderly people traveling with us and the car was sporty, so not a very good match for us. Also, no mentioned that they would be closed the day were dropping off so we would have to use the drop box.

Awesome customer service!
Pros: We showed up a little past their closing times, but still accommodated us with an upgraded vehicle. Josh was an awesome help.
Cons: Times that the Broomfield office is open are not that great.
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. Fast and efficient service!

DOuble the Cost and a Broken Scraper
Pros: The CSR was friendly and apologized for the screw-up.
Cons: That the reservation was made in the wrong location ending up costing me twice what I expected; that the ice scraper in the car was broken so that I had to use a credit card to scrape the frost off the windows.

Agent cancelled my rental car on me less than 24 hours before trip
Cons: I booked my rental car ~1.5 months in advance of my trip (my husband and I were planning on driving down to visit my family in Texas). A Hertz agent called less than 24 hours in advance of my trip to inform me that there was no car available for me to rent and I "had better make other travel arrangements". I skimmed the internet and could not find another car rental for less than at least double the cost of the rental that was being cancelled on me. The agent offered no suggestions/help/compensation/anything at all, and even hung up the phone on me. I had to cancel the trip as a result, and will not be renting from Hertz in the future.

Hail in Denver
Cons: Denver was bombarded by a hail storm! Wasn't informed that my rental was cancelled until the morning I was suppose to pick up! Although there always seems to be plenty of vehicles at the airport, which are parked under cover. Not sure who these extra vehicles went to, but I wasn't one! Filed a despite to get my permit-paid money back!

Pros: Pickup and drop off was fast and easy. The Hyundai Sonata was clean and drove nice - actually got 42 MPG coming back through the mountains.
Pros: Easy pick up and return at the rental location. Returned a day early without issues adjusting the pricing. The customer service was excellent....
Cons: I ended up with a Ford Expedition. I am more of a GM guy and would have preferred a Suburban, but would have like to be given an option. Overall, the SUV was nice and was not really an issue.

Pros: Vehicle was brand new and very clean.
Cons: One man operation. Took forever to get car. The return was much quicker, but they didn't offer any drop off service.

Attempted Unacceptable Substitute at Pickup
Pros: The car I eventually was provided was very nice and in line with what I reserved.
Cons: At pickup, the agent at the counter attempted to provide a jumbo sized van in place of the Chrysler 200 (or similar) Standard car I reserved for my trip. When I refused the switch, I was told it was all that was available. I needed to pickup the car and start my trip, so that was both annoying and stressful. After a few minutes, the agent provided a Buick Larcrosse that was very nice, but only after I said that I would cancel and rent from another rental service. Not what a customer wants to deal with for a reserved booking at the start of a planned trip.
