Cons: KAYAK must have switched the pick up location from Denver International to downtown Denver. I discovered this the day before I was to travel.
Since it was through KAYAK, I was not able to switch the reservation to Denver airport.
This caused terrible delays across the board picking up the car, as well as a $50 penalty to drop off at the airport.
KAYAK was a total FAIL.

Complained to corporate
Cons: Man said our car wasn't there, we were 15 minutes late so he pushed us out the door, said he had no cars they were out for maintenance despite several cars in the lot. One hour later, we could see the man still in the store across the street from the doughnut shop. Will never use enterprise or kayak for car rental again. We never got a car. We got terrible service. And several days after calling corporate, they still haven't replied. Our entire day was ruined.

Uber/lyft too expensive
Pros: Ride was cheaper than at the airport. They did have the truck I reserved.
Cons: Uber/lyft rides to and from the airport were too expensive to make it worth while. $87 one way, and enterprise said it would be $100 to just drop off the car at the airport. Should have just saved some time by doing that. Or found regular taxi rates.

Refused to rent me my car.
Cons: My drivers license has abbreviated first name because my name is too long for New York State to print it on my license. I had secondary ID in the form of a passport. The woman refused to rent me my vehicle. Refused to put me as a driver on the vehicle when my girlfriend was forced to rent the vehicle. She then tried to sell my girlfriend all this additional insurance that we had already paid for and then instantly took it off when I confronted her about it. She was nasty and unwilling to help. Never again.

Ask for Megan at the S. Broadway store
Pros: There were a couple of timing issues with our vehicle, but sometimes that's the name of the game. In my opinion, issues happen, but it's how you fix them that matters most.
Megan is the manager of the S. Broadway store and she was extremely helpful and kind. She did every single thing in her power to get us on the road in a better vehicle than we paid for, at a discounted rate. I appreciated her understanding and overall customer service and it will make me a return customer to her store.

Cons: We reserved a pickup a week in advance. The morning of they called an said they didn't have a pickup but they had a large SUV but when we got there they sent us to another location where they didn't have anything that would work. We were moving out of state an this caused extreme issues.

Good Car, Mediocre Service
Pros: I was on my way pretty quickly. The car was fairly new and it worked very well.
Cons: While I was literally in the middle of going through my information with the clerk, someone walks in the door and he starts taking her information!
There was a fairly obvious issue with the bumper of my car that the clerk who helped me did not document on the rental agreement. When I returned the car off to a different location, the clerk who received it took issue with this defect.

Cons: HORRIBLE. Enterprise called me on Friday to confirm that I still wanted my car and continued to talk to me about how lucky I am that my car is ready because there was hail storm Friday that damaged their cars. When I landed Saturday I had a voicemail that said my car was no longer there because of a hail storm that damaged 4,000 of their cars. Two hail in two days seems very very unlikely, especially because no other cars in the surrounding area were damaged and no one else said that there was a hail storm the night before. The other people we spoke with knew nothing of a hail storm. I had to rent a car for TWICE as much because Enterprise had "no cars" I assume they double booked and gave away my reserved card. I am asking Enterprise to make up the difference in what I paid.
Cons: The car was in great shape except the outside needed a bit more cleaning

Cons: Very rude. I had this appointment set for at least 2 months and than finally I get there and they Didn't let me know what all I had to pay until I got there and asked for another 200$ More
Scamming for money is what they are!
Very disrespectful and wouldn't work with me. Never going back there

Wont honor a rate quoted from another location onl
Pros: the car ran good and gave us little trouble
Cons: Hertz didnt honor the rate i was quoted in kayak for the daily rate and the included insurance rate. Evidently the price for a rental at the airport is double what the downtown rental is. Double the price for a distance of 10 miles away? Ridiculous! While i did book the wrong location there is no way that a rental should cost double the rate of another location that is just a few miles away! The person I dealt with was not any help with adjusting my daily rate price at all. Also the quoted insurance rate was much more than I got from kayak. So i really felt that i was ripped off and ultimately the overall experience was poor! I was very disatisfied witht he car as it wasnt even focus sized, the yaris was very much smaller than a focus. I know because I own the focus!

There in a Pinch
Pros: I had plans for a weekend getaway about 90 miles from my house and included mountain driving. Checked out my car tires and realized tread was showing and I was not comfortable driving my vehicle on the interstate and mountains so I ended up being able to reserve a car that night and pick it up the next morning! The car was clean and basically new (7,000 miles) and got great gas mileage and gave me the peace of mind to be driving all over the place without worrying about a tire exploding! The man that helped me was very quick and friendly. the location of the shop was near my house so I didn't have to drive very far on my junky tires. The price was pretty consistent for renting, however, we bought insurance online instead of through Hertz, which was cheaper. All around, the experience was great, good service, good vehicle, normal pricing.
