Didn’t have the correct vehicles for what was requested, clerks make up rules as they go to make their jobs easier. After fact checking and proving them wrong they would still argue. Won’t return to Alamo at that location.

I couldn't believe how poor the service was at the Wilmington Airport Alamo Car Rental location. I had a confirmation number and was on my way to pick up the car when Nicole from the rental company called to tell me that they didn't have a car for me. I told that I had a confirmation and she informed me that didn't matter. She made no attempt to help me and offered no solution, just told me there wasn't a car for me. Lesson is to never trust a confirmation from Alamo.

Nothing. Will never try Alamo again.First, my flight arrival time that I booked (11:30PM) was moved to Alamo's closing time of 6PM (without notice). Second, when I requested a late pickup, they refused. Hertz was accommodating. Third, they offered that I could pick it up the next day. What was I supposed to do, wait at the airport till they opened the next day? Forth, I asked if they were suggesting that I take my business elsewhere, all I got was crickets! Needless to say, I canceled my reservation and took my business to Hertz who set up for both a late night pickup AND an early morning drop-off. All three agents involved in the transaction were courteous and did what they promised. It all worked perfectly! Better yet, the price was HALF what Alamo was charging for their dis-service.

Drop off was easy.I ordered an economy car, not a minivan. The minivan was ok but when I started it up, the screen said that the tire was low so I had to go back into the airport to tell them. They said it was fine so for four days, I drove around in a minivan that said “tire low”. Not good customer service.

I was able to book a rental car but when I went to pick it up they said they had no cars available. I ended up having to rent from another company and was very expensive.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. I would use them again.This is not a bad thing just wish I could have added a day to the front of the rental. Due to COVID we landed a day early.

Staff was friendly but during drop off and pick up the person helping me stopped two times to help his coworker even though I was there first. Neither one of them didn’t say excuse me or apologize for holding me up while I waited patiently. The customer service person that didn’t know what they were doing just interrupted as well without saying excuse me. How hard is it to say i’ll be right with you let me finish taking care of my customer. It was very rude and inconsiderate as my time was just as important as the other customers time. I may rent from Alamo again but not certain because again this happened during drop off and pick up.The staff could just be more considerate and fair of everyone’s time. If I were a different type of person it would’ve been a problem.
