Cons: When I arrived to pick up my rented standard group vehicle (VW Jetta), they had none on site or any standard vehicle for that matter. The agent insisted that an intermediate group vehicle (Toyota Corolla) was "similar" and therefore acceptable. I pointed out their own documentation on line clearly showed they were two different car groups. I had to pay an extra $84 to get a car that was big enough for our trip. I corresponded by email to the area manager that, since they did not have the car I rented on site and I was forced to upgrade, to do the right thing and refund my additional charge. He did not. I plan to push this issue up the management chain.

No availability of car when went to pick up
Pros: Car was ok
Cons: Car not available when went to pick up at 12noon
Got car eventually at 4pm in an area that I did not know.
So had to wait around in the area for 4hours

Pros: Courteous Staff.
Cons: Scheduled pickup at 9am. Car ready at 9:20am. No wiper on the rear window. Hood of Nissan Rogue vibrated in a strong wind. Prepaid for pickup on 5 May @ 9am, return 15 May @ 9am. Returned the car early on 14 May @ 9am. Facility closed. Did not get credit for returning early. This is a TOTAL BS policy. "We are closed on Sunday, so we don't know if you really returned it then." I WILL NEVER RENT FROM HERTZ AGAIN!!!!!!

Blowout on Highway. Charged for the tire.
Cons: Blowout on the highway, then charged me for the tire. Will be taking it up with their customer service department, but will not do business with again.
