Cons: No phone call no email stating that the reservation was made for a time they are closed showed up to the office with a sign stating to call a number called the number and was basically told you didn't show by closing time so there's nothing we can do.

Cons: Renter called me day before to confirm timing. Since their office closed at 5pm (original pickup time); I advised I would be there at 4pm. i was but vehicle wasnt on site till 4:30.

Poor customer service
Cons: When I asked if I could pick up the vehicle an hr earlier than scheduled, it took 4 phone calls to get someone at the location to answer the phn. I was able to get the vehicle early but it meant I had to go to another budget location for the car. Upon my return, noone was at the counter working even though they were "open:" and I waited an hr before giving up and leaving the keys in a drop box. Also, Budget charges an additional full day of feesa if you come bk even 30 min past your original rental pick up time!

Dirtiest environment ever!!
Pros: The minivan itself was comfy, and the manager of the rental office was easygoing (also very poor customer attentiveness overall).
Cons: The office was filthy, dirt on furniture, floor, all surfaces. It is a ramshackle, tiny office with no working toilet (my two year old needed to pee!), and my kids literally touched the door and windowsill & had black hands!
The service manager was on the phone when we arrived, didn't even acknowledge us with eye contact until the phone was replaced, then said, "I'll be right with you, this is an important call," and disappeared with his cell phone into a back room. There was nowhere for my kids to be safely and the office was SO dirty! Gravel parking lot directly out the door with large rental trucks coming in and out...scary for children. Then when he came out he was reluctant to expend any effort...the minivan had huge damage spots "Well, it's a rental car," he said. The interior was dirty too. There is NO short or long term parking on site, so I had to put car seats in while huge trucks are arriving and leaving. He didn't show us anything about how to work the seats, song was there for an hour and had to go get him twice to explain things. Then had to drive around the corner with my own car to search for street parking...horrible. Drop off was bad too - he literally just took the keys, but didn't do a damage check in front of me and I'm afraid he'll claim things that I didn't do because the whole operation there is chaotic and seems sheisty. And we hardly saved any money for all the inconveniences.

Pros: I was able to pick up a car quickly in town and the company was willing to come get me during business hours.
Cons: The drop-off at the airport is extremely inconvenient. There is no public transport to that location. The pick-up was in one place and the drop-off was in another which is a major hassle with all rental agencies that use this situation.

Too many up sales.
Pros: Convenient location and unlimited miles.
Cons: They try too hard to up sale you. If you refuse the up sale offering they use a negative psychological sales remark like "is that too much for you"? If you refuse all their up sales, they assign you the worst car on the lot. The car I received had a very bad hesitation when accelerating from a stop and had terrible road noise.

Place was closed
Pros: I like the online service. It's intuitive and efficient.
Cons: KAYAK allowed me to book a car rental at 12 at Budget Car Rentals on 2800 Broad St, San Luis Obispo 93401. However it did not take into account that it closes at noon. I had to go to a different location only to find that my debit card would not work because I have not yet opened a credit account with my bank. If it wasn't for Enterprise, I would not have been able to drive to San Jose and get on my flight.

Quick and easy at a great price
Pros: Got a free upgrade to a larger vehicle.
Cons: Went back to pick up an item we left in the car, and the office was closed in the middle of the day.

Pros: I liked the car and the guy who dropped me off at my car
Cons: As I walked in I was grosses out by the smell, it smelt like someone threw up in the store it was awful! I made a reservation because I had a timeline and needed to be at lax at a certain time.. When I get there I was told that my car was getting an oil change.. While I waited the employees texted on there phone, I know because I could hear the alerts continue to go off... Frustred I waited for the car to return which was 30 minutes late and when I finally got the car I realized it didn't have gas... So not only was I already late Bc of the oil change now I have to go get gas... Not a happy camper and won't ever rent from this enterprise again!!! No thanks.. I have rented about 100 cars in my life and this was the worst experience so far!

Pros: The employees at this enterprise were exceptional!! When we first arrived they were very welcoming. While they looked up my reservation they asked us what were our plans and made nice conversation. It seemed like it was a busy day for them since we had to wait a few minutes for our rental and they ended up giving us a free upgrade. For the 3 days we were there we never had a problem with the car. Upon returning the car, Mike offered to get us a ride to the airport free of charge but our flight was until much later so he allowed us to keep the car until our flight again free of charge and told us that we can return it to the enterprise at the airport which made it so much easier for us. It was a very pleasant experince renting from enterprise.

Cons: The location on the website is WRONG. Totally unacceptable. It took me an additional 10 minutes to drive around confused, park, look up the phone number, then back track to the correct location.

Cons: Agent at pickup location asked me to go to their other location 5 miles away to get the class of car I reserved (compact). I said I was unwilling so they begrudgingly upgraded me. Car smelled of smoke.

Great car, but trouble with price being changed
Pros: The car was a Prius, very clean, new and quiet. It got great mileage.
Cons: We were scheduled to pick up the car at 5pm. We get a call at 4:45 pm saying they close at 5 pm, so they wanted to make sure we would be there. We would have preferred to know this ahead of time, and we would nave scheduled an earlier time. Then, when we were dropping off the car, the amount charged was $55 dollars more than originally quoted. Luckily we caught it and questioned them about the discrepancy. They then apologized and said "the computer" had automatically charged the default price. They fixed it. Just be careful that you are being charged the correct amount!
Cons: location of the off-site office is inconvenient, especially since right outside of the airport there is no sidewalk, so we had to walk on the side of the freeway to get to the driveway of the office plaza.

Pros: Cute car and easy pickup
Cons: I was never once told that they would take a $200 deposit, just on the phone and at pickup that they would run a credit check. Both times they never mentioned money and I know this because that was my gambling money for my reno vacation. They just took it without asking and ruined my vacation.
On top of that, they did not go over the car at pickup and did not tell me I had Sirius. They did not say what to do with the car at after hours drop off and customer service had no idea and tried to transfer me to roadside assistance for the answer but after 20 minutes on hold I hung up, made a guess and hoped for the best. I will not rent from them again.
