Pros: IN and OUT with little delay and total consideration and courtesy. m Good car.
Cons: Getting in and out is somewhat complicated and difficult.

Pros: The staff at this location was amazing! Very friendly, helpful, and kind gentlemen. The compact I reserved was unavailable, so I was upgraded to a sedan- Buick Verano! Beautiful and such a smooth ride. A great experience- I will definitely be using this Hertz in the future!

Cons: I got a call the morning of my pick up to tell me they had no cars in stock. When I asked why it allowed me to book online they said their online inventory isn't reliable.
I was left without a rental car on the very day I needed it.

Pickup of rental car
Cons: Terrible experience. I reserved the car, paid in advance. Was told by Hertz email that my pickup time was 12 noon; arrived at 12:10 to pickup car. The office was closed and nothing I could do. I wasn't told that office closed at noon; I should have check that I guess. But don't understand why I'm given a pickup time that is right at office closure?!? Called Hertz trying to get a car from another office, but nothing could be done. I canceled the purchase; I'm waiting for my reimbursement.
I drove to local Enterprise rental office and rented a car. Proceeded on down the road on my vacation.

Cons: I paid for my rental and insurance on line and scheduled to pick the car at 12 noon.When i arrived 5 minutes after 12pm i didnt realize the location would be closed at 12pm. I dont understand how I could be able to schedule a rental at the time the location is closed. And if purchased on line why wouldn't a location have the informaion that there was a rental to be pick up. I was not given a confirmation ny Hertz after I booked my renral or reminder when the time was close. I was asked to call other locations to see if they were open but all, other than the airports, were closed and due ti it being a holiday I would not be able to get a car till 2 days after. I was forced to cancel my rental and insurance and make other plans of transportation which was a huge let down and inconvenience. I am not pleased at all and was baffled that the costomer service was not up to a greater standard. I had to make all my other arrangements myself and would not be able to use my same purchase at a different location. Instead i would have had to make a new purchase. And since a refund would not be available until 5 to 7 days i was not able to do that either.

Pros: The pick up was fast and easy.
Cons: My pick up time was noon but the store closed at noon. Luckily, I called before heading to Hertz and found out I needed to leave earlier than expected. Also, I called to Leo the car an extra day and Hert charged me an additional $10 just to change the return date. I think I’ll look to other companies before using Hertz again.

YOU NEED A HERTZ SIGN ON THE STREET AND ON THE WAL
Pros: THE CAMRY
Cons: There is NO HERTZ SIGN ANYWHERE on the address listed, ( San Marcos, CA) which is TAG collision repair garage. The office is INDOORS the garage before there is a small sign on the door. I drove past several times. I happen to be competent so I explored inside the garage and found the office, but I saw another woman wandering around outside frantically looking at her watch.
The folks at the counter shrugged as if there was nothing they could do about it.
IF YOU DONT HAVE A SIGN UP ON THE STREET WHEN I ORDER NEXT, I WILL ASSUME YOU ARE SO INDIFFERENT TO YOUR CLIENTS AND STAFF I WILL NOT RENT AT THIS LOCATION AGAIN.

They ran out of cars.
Cons: I got a call the same day I was supposed to pick up my rental informing me they overbooked their inventory. They made no effort to remedy the situation or offer an apology. They still charged my credit card and have only reimbursed me a portion of the amount they charged.
Pros: The service especially at the drop off in LA was very friendly and good. The car was excellent.
Cons: KAYAK, you sold me an insurance, that Budget did not accept. That's VERY BAD! So I had to pay twice, because my first insurance was useless. How can you do that???????
And, again VERY BAD: The adress for drop off was wrong - 22 miles away from LAX. A fault of the Budget agency in Vista, I think. Fortunately, I followed the signs and found the drop off-station close to the airport.
