December, Jul 2020 - Courtyard by Marriott San Francisco Union Square

Pros (+) Brand new renovation! Formerly the Opal Hotel. Maintained old world charm. This hotel far exceeded expectations. Nicely appointed. Felt like a European hotel.

Pros (+) Leaving the next morning
Cons (-) It was outdated, old, and dirty. The comforter looked like it hadn't been washed in years. There was a banana peel with a gnat flying around it left in the trash can that never got cleaned out before we checked it. I slept fully clothed. I could very easily see this hotel and the room have a rodent/bug problem. I would NEVER stay here again, even if I was being paid to.
