Very good
David, Feb 2020 - Whitcomb
Pros (+) - High ceilings in the room - Cleanliness - Friendly Staff - Location of the Hotel
Cons (-) - Toilet could have been a little bigger. It felt like my 5 year old school's toilet.

Adam, Dec 2019 - Stanford Court San Francisco
Pros (+) Great offer to upgrade at a small upcharge - worth it given the view of downtown SF. Staff was great and check in and out was seamless

Pros (+) Nothing. Would never recommend this hotel.
Cons (-) The hotel is surrounded by a large homeless population right outside. Parking is an additional $51 a day that was not disclosed at booking. The WiFi “package” which is a mandatory fee of $35 a night was also not disclosed. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Okay
Drew, Jun 2019 - Whitcomb
Pros (+) The hotel was in a central location, close to everything and easy to get an Uber. The free high-speed internet was definitely a plus.
Cons (-) The bed was very uncomfortable and very disappointing. The hotel was situated in a sketchy party of town. I also saw some staff members get very impatient with someone whose English was clearly not their first language when asking for their last name a few times because they didn't initially understand the question.

Joel, Apr 2019 - Whitcomb
Cons (-) The Kayak lists parking as an amenity. This is false. Ended up leaving the hotel immediately after getting my room keys from a jerk at the front desk and learning I could not park anywhere. Even when I attempted to pay for their valet parking which cost over 50% of the value of the room, I was denied service due to the fact that I have a pet in the car (a pet that would have stayed in the car over...

Pros (+) Cleaning staff work very hard - rooms are clean
Cons (-) One person in front desk at any time - lineup is long. Staff is abrupt and rude. Neighbourhood is scary and dangerous. No food - only Starbucks, no restaurant (it looks like it went out of business). Key cards needed recoding every day ( huge inconvenience) Do NOT stay here - too expensive and it’s a horrible experience.

Okay
Anonymous, Oct 2018 - Stanford Court San Francisco
Pros (+) Nice hotel in general
Cons (-) The check in was one our delayed and the people in the front desk were not very servicial. Since it’s in the top part of the city, walking with kids or senior people is complicated. Breakfast options are not really option, it forces you to buy the full buffet.

Anonymous, Feb 2018 - Hotel Union Square
Pros (+) Good location
Cons (-) The amenities fee charged per day is not made clear at the time of booking. The room did not have a/c and was constantly hot and stuffy. In February.
