Overbooked cars, waited over 2 hours
Pros: Car was comfortable.
Cons: They did not have the full size, 5 bag capacity sedan, which we needed, and booked for a reason They tried to give us a smaller sedan, bags wouldn't fit. Tried to give us an SUV, they pulled it up, then said nope, it's over miles. Tried to give us a truck with a camper shell. Um, no. Ended up with a station wagon, without a functioning parking brake. Got zero explanation of how vehicles are very different in the U.K. Than at home. Then they tried to say upon return that we scraped the side of the car, when we pointed it out at the pick up. In top of it all, we had purchased insurance on the car, it was not disclosed that you had to buy theirs in addition to it.

WORST RENTAL EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD
Pros: Absolutely nothing
Cons: From beginning to end, this rental was terrible. When picking up, the clerk required that I purchase their third party insurance for 13£/day. I tried to decline the coverage since my credit card offers car rental insurance. No where on the rental agreement or on their website was this required purchase listed. The clerk told me he would refuse to release the car to me without purchasing this useless insurance. After paying, we were given a car that was extremely dirty. This I could have overlooked if the service hadn't been so bad. Next issue--the back license plate fell off. Since it wasn't bolted on to begin with, we considered it a maintenance issue. Easirent insisted it was stolen and charged us 90£. A heated argument ensued, with a visit to the manager's office, where he told us our credit card insurance would cover the charge (NOT the required 13£/day policy they sold me). We paid it, claimed it. Claim was denied because the credit card company contends that we purchased insurance from the rental company. This company has serious customer service issues. I would definitely recommend choosing someone else. I know I will.

Cons: The trip around to all the other hotels before getting to the rental location. The "shuttle" to the rental location. The extra charges to drive the car away. 1200 dollars plus. Don't rent from these people, it's a complete con.

Pros: Pickup process New car
Cons: Too busy in small place with small staff - and hence chaotic Gave us car empty on diesel as their assigned gas station was closed on Wednesday as noon time!

Thieves and cheats that are too lazy to fix their
Pros: The car was OK
Cons: I was told to go to a hotel for the rental. After paying for a cab and an airport shuttle i got there and found that they had moved from the hotel a month ago. I had to wait 40 minutes for someone to get me to actual location. Once there i was told that i had to pay $40 over what my reservation was for. Either that or i walk back to the airport. I was trapped. Then i was given paperwork and left. The GPS they gave me was so old and cheap that it got me lost so many times, i ended up putting it away and asking directions. When i tried to go back to drop the car off i looked for the address on the lease agreement to find no address or phone #. I had to find the original hotel and have them write down directions. Horrible experience. They are thieves and cheats in a grubby environment.

Felt like home!
Pros: We had our pickup time set for 6am and being so exhausted after such a long international flight AND shaving an awful uber driver taking us over to Heathrow to get our car, we showed up close to 11am instead. Raj greeted us and was so friendly and definitely took away the nerves of driving on the left side of the road! Haha! He joked with us and we discussed family and friends and gave us pointers on what roads to avoid! It was an absolute pleasure dealing with Easirent and if I ever find myself back in London, I will definitely be renting from them again!
Cons: I have no complaints with this company. Everything was just as I had expected.

Bad company policies, good employees
Pros: The guy attending was really nice and helped a lot, even gave us a lift to the airport after we had some trouble when dropping off the car.
Cons: The "shuttle" to the rental office is a regular bus that runs every 40', plus 15' drive. The car rental requires a deposit of 1250 pounds which most credit cards cannot support, thus having to pay a 17pounds/day extra to lower the deposit to 500 pounds. When picking up the car it was late night and there was no light and so we barely could see anything on the car since it was black. When dropping off the car we were charged with the 500 pounds deposit for things we hadn't done, fortunately we had pictures from the morning after picking it up and the guy at the office, who was a really nice guy, took those as proof. Was it not for him, the guy checking the car would have charged us with the whole deposit for things that were clearly too old to have been done by us.

Rip Off Car Rental
Pros: Very little
Cons: I travel back to the UK every year so am very familiar with the car rental process. I chose this company because they were about $3 a day cheaper than the well known rental brands. My credit card covers insurance cost when I rent aboard and so I was very happy with the price. When I arrived to get my car they said I needed to pay over 1.5 times the price of the rental for 3rd party liability insurance. They said that this was compulsory and that's the reason they were so much cheaper than Europcar, Hertz etc. They refused to rent me the car without it. It would have been CONSIDERABLY cheaper to rent from a better known brand that includes the 3rd Party insurance cost in their base price. This place is a rip off. I recommend everyone avoids renting from them. I am very dis-satisfied with the quality of my rental.

Cons: No shuttle to start with, rented a luxury car, Mercedes, and received Volvo, dirty from outside and interior, had maintenance overdue the whole time, required wheel alignment, and then was charged a mandatory £75.00 for insurance because I had American license, which was never mentioned in booking, as long as we were over 25 years old!

Cons: Car was only 1/4 full of gas, but checkout person circled F. I did not notice until 1 mile away. Be sure to check fuel level. When I explained upon return, they were not interested. I would avoid this firm in the future.

My car wasn't available
Cons: This is the worst company. What is the reason for reservation if they dont have the car at the reservation time. Also they offered me high price insurance which I don't need. My payment card covers for that kind of insurance. I've end up leaving the place and not renting a car.

I will never use KAYAK again!
Pros: it was a new car
Cons: The location was incorect! it took me three hours to find the dam place. Then the rental was to be $40 US DOLLARS, But some how I was charged 103 UK POUNDS! then they held me capitive with a deposit of 1200 UK POUNDS on my credit card or NO CAR! I had gotten insurance through KAYAK website But they charged me insurance too!! HATE KAYAK

Avoid this compay. It is a a bait-and-switch ploy.
Cons: This was the worst rental experience of my life. It took us 2 1/2 hours to get a car. Their shuttle runs only once every 40 minutes from Gatwick to the Rental Car Agency. You are required to buy a full tank of over-priced gas up front and bring the car back empty (only option). You are also required to pay for over-priced insurance. And they even charged a 5% premium of American Express. All that is bad, but even worse were their cars. Our car needed to be returned for low tire pressure. The lady next to me had a car with no wiper fluid. My colonoscopy was a more pleasant experience than this rental.

Watch out for the clerks that lie to sell you insu
Pros: Clean and good value for money.
Cons: They lie and tell you they need proof that your credit card gives you free rental insurance or they will not let you take the car. Their insurance is double any one else's. They also charge extra for premium location. I rent in Heathrow every year. Sixt is the hardest location to get in and out of and find in the dark. Will never rent from them again.

Cons: Having to re-book the car at the Esairent office and pay for new insurance policy as the Kayak rental agreement as well as the insurance I paid was not acceptable nor valid as I was not USA resident. What's upsetting is you charging me insurance fee when I'm being ineligible having my mailing address for Credit Card used is Bahrain not the USA.

Pros: The car was fantastic and included a GPS which was extremely helpful. The car arrived in a great condition, very clean and no odors. The exterior of the vehicle was examined closely for scratches etc. and I felt comfortable with the assessment.
Cons: There were a number of things that I did not like about this service. Despite turning up on time, there was no urgency from any of the staff to help me, or apologize for the wait. They were definitely more focused on just signing boxes, customer service was not much of a concern. Despite knowing I was waiting, they did nothing to get the vehicle to the place as soon as possible, resulting in another 20 minutes waiting after the paper work was complete. The additional insurance costs were not factored into the original cost. When the vehicle was eventually handed over, they did not explain any of the vehicles information, just gave the keys and walked away. There was also no manual in the car to refer to should I have questions.

Pros: We rented a larger van as we had six people.... I knew this would be a challenge going on the narrow roads of the Cotswolds! No problems! It was great....roomy and spacious for everyone....also easy to get in and out from Heathrow!

Poor Value * Misleading
Pros: Car was nice Friendly service
Cons: Very slow service. Kayak did not account for insurance fee OR other fees that I was charged. I paid $730 for four days! It was just a subcompact vehicle (Toyota Yaris). I brought the car back a day early and received NO credit. I also paid for a whole tank of gas (they have you bring it back empty) and returned it with 1/2 a tank... you guessed it- no credit. Overall the price was ridiculous and not consistent with what I was quoted. I felt like I was being scammed.

Never found the place
Pros: They advertise shuttle to rental office from Heathrow, but none of the shuttles even heard of them. I cancelled and went with a different company.

Pros: There was nothing we liked it was the worst experience renting a car in my own life.
Cons: The address for the pickup was incorrect and we would never have rented a car if we had known it was not at the airport. We were given upgrades that we did not ask for.

Pros: The car was great and clean
Cons: Turned out to be a lot more expensive than what I booked for. I had to pay nearly £200 for insurance or pay a £1250 deposit. There was no mention of the deposit requirement in the booking

Location of EasiRent had changed
Pros: Car was fine. No extra charge scams - so far. Bus to the off airport location free if you had a confirmation paper for EasiRent.
Cons: The confirming email gave the old address, the Hilton at Gatwick airport. But EasiRent is not located there. It is now off-airport at the Crown Plaza, 2.5 miles away.

Beware -Awful Experience - The price offered in NO
Pros: convenient location.
Cons: Rude and deliberately unhelpful staff. It took a long chain of emails to try and extract information about the shuttle from/to the airport - information that could be communicated in one sentence. The agents were more interested in sending once sentence sarcastic statements instead of answers. The price that is in the itinery is NOT the price that you pay at thr rental office. Once at the office the agent insist that you 'have no option' but to also accept the third party insurance. This seems to me to be sneaky and possibly illegal practice. Too Slow. They have no organization for greeting or processing their customers. No eye contact, no 'I'll be with you in a moment', just a crowd of people trying to get the attention of the agents. KAYAK should not use this company in its portfolio because of the hidden costs and deceptive practices.KAYAK - you should be vetting these shady companies.

Surprise charges and lack of transparency
Cons: We were quoted a very competitive price on Kayak, but when we arrived at the counter it suddenly doubled due to their insistence that we pay for 3rd party insurance. They also tried to insist on paying an extra thirty pound stirling for a full tank of gas, but finally relented and waived the "requirement." When we received the car it was dirty - hadn't been washed and had a big dint on the passenger door. I would not recommend using this company.

Run From This Place-Bait and Switch at Its Finest
Pros: Avoid this place at all costs if you have arranged to purchase your own liability coverage or plan to use liability coverage provided by a credit card. This place baits you in with low rates. What is not clear is that you have to take a 20 min shuttle ride to their property. The shuttle bus lets you on for free, but if you don't complete the rental you have to fight to return to the airport on the same shuttle for free. This place was awful. They got us all the way there then told us unless we got their liability coverage for 30 pounds a day, they would have charge our credit card for $40,000. They did swipe our card and of course it was declined. Sleezy. Now I know why they aren't on the airport Hilton property. There were probably so many complaints that the Hilton didn't want to have its name associated with this sleezy company.
Cons: Hated the place. I feel sorry for first time visitors to London who get bullied into buying their overpriced insurance because they don't know that there are better alternatives. We fought our way back to the airport on the shuttle, for free. We ended up renting an nice Audi sports wagon, automatic, from SIXT for more than half the price this place was going to charge after they added in all their hidden fees. Run. Do not rent from here. If you do, it's on you because you've been warned.

Cons: had to pay extra for insurance after I purchased insurance on line and had to leave a large deposit on future damage that won't be refunded for several days will not rent from them would have walked out if we weren't in a bind will never rent from Easirent again. employees seemed embarrassed to tell me about the extra charges. not a good policy.

Charged and extra $68 at drop off for God knows wh
Cons: I have no idea why I was charged another $68 dollars AFTER I dropped off the car! I had the attendant at the car drop off look over the car as if he was inspecting a brand new car, and after all that, he told me everything was good. So whats the extra charge for? So if you add up the extra 50 Pounds plus the $68 dollars, thats about $130 extra on a car rental that should have cost only about $192 at Kayak checkout!!!

Pros: Newer car in good shape.
Cons: Price was a lot more than quoted once we got the vehicle. The insurance purchased before the trip supposedly didn't cover the car according to the Easirent manager and we have to buy additional insurance.

DON'T RENT FROM EASICAR
Pros: Low price and decent vehicle
Cons: These guys literally force the customers into buying their insurance, and are very sleazy about it. Also, when I returned the car, they kept arguing with me about a small scratch on the tire cap - but upon my insisting they checked the prior documents and then confirmed that the scratch was there before I rented. Horrible customer service!

Easirent is a scam
Cons: Company had moved to a different location. We were not informed. Impossible to rent a car from them under the circumstances. We were left without support or information at the airport with a little kid. Had to rent from different company on the spot. Extremely bad experience.

Cons: The pickup was horrendous. Long, slow line. I think they were stuck on 1980s technology. Also, they did not even know what my booking class was. No point to pay for premium class if they don't offer it once you're there.

Always More Fees Than Expected
Pros: It was a cheap price.
Cons: They forced me to take insurance which was the same amount per day as the rental. They tried to upsell me every step of the way. They forced me to buy gas from them. They demanded I put a hold on my cc for over $1500. Lots of hidden fees.

Cons: I booked an Easirent car from Heathrow with a collection time of 5am. At the arrivals hall at Heathrow Easirent was not listed among the car hire companies on the bus stop signage indicating how to reach the respective offices for each car hire company. I checked my Easirent booking confirmation but there were no instructions how to get to the office. I called Easirent but there was no reply on either of the 2 phone numbers provided, even though it was at that stage 5.50 and the office opening hours were stated as from 5am. By asking around I discovered that I needed to catch a hotel shuttle bus which was due to run every 20 minutes. After a further 35 minutes the bus arrived. Upon arrival at the Easirent office I was advised the cost of hire would be £148 and not £106 as previously advised. I pointed out that to be totally sure how much I would pay, I had E mailed Easirent after receiving my booking confirmation to ask if there would be any extra fees and to get 100% confirmation what the total charge would be. I was told the E mail reply I received was incorrect and the total fee would be £46 higher due to insurance costs. £46 insurance for 2 days hire is in itself utterly ridiculous and given that I still have the E mail assuring me the total charge would be only £106, I have to conclude there is a deliberate policy to mislead customers regarding pricing. The car checkout process takes place in an area without any lighting making it impossible to verify the condition of the vehicle. The assistant in the office called Asad was very polite, but it doesn’t make up for the overall terrible experience and being unashamedly ripped off.

Pros: The wether and the smell in the air
Cons: They didn't have the car they promised. The price was almost x 3 they promised!!! They blamed it all on the "agent" The address was wrong "we have moved" The was a shuttle bus every 35 min. So I took a taxi for 16 pounds, in the rental they told me it will be handled but then told me contact "your agent". Stay away from the rentel and the "agent" aka KAYAK.
