the vehicle was falling apart! trim piece on the front was loose, I was afraid that it would fall off. Remote key fob did not work and they did not have a second key Fob. They dont open early and you cannot drop off vehicle early. We have to be at the airport &:00 Am on a Monday but they dont open until 8:00 so we have to drop off the vejhicle Sunday and took a taxi from our hotel to the airport. will not recommend or use them againReviewed Feb 23 2024

Pros:Staff were helpful and relatively friendly.Cons:There were lots small roaches in the car and they didn’t have any other cars to move us into. They gave us a 7% discount to compensate, which seemed pretty measly given the unsanitary aspect of having to see and know that roaches were crawling around our stuff and possibly on us too. It was a Kia Soul which also didn’t have enough power for the steeper hills and would bottom out going over speed bumps, so for a compact SUV, it really wasn’t a suitable auto for the Virgin Islands. The shuttle driver was friendly and helpful w/ loading and unloading our bags and they were efficient w/ check in and check out. I’ve rented from Economy many times in many locations and this was my first not great experience.Reviewed Jun 1 2021

Pros:Staff was ok, it is really way below average. the first car we got, the handle/armrest on the driver side came off the door. The replacement car was even worse, has 77,000 + miles. We were not aware that there will be no road service when we took the car over to St John. We were pretty much on our own if it break down. Perhaps it was in the fine print when I reserved the car, but I do not recall seeing that.Cons:Upfront on all these conditions to take care to St John from St Thomas. The rental agency is not very inviting and off site from airport. There is a shuttle, which is okReviewed May 11 2021

Pros:People are friendly. Shuttle ran frequently enough. They had the minivan I rented "in stock." Pricing seemed astronomically high but honestly I couldn't find anything cheaper for that week so I guess that makes them a good value?Cons:The van they gave me was absolutely beat to hell, dents and scratches everywhere. Looked like all their cars were pretty beat up. In their defense, most of the cars on the island look like that. Not a big deal as long as the car runs I guess, which mine did. Just make sure you take pictures before you drive off. None of the employees was in any hurry to get anything done, although this "island time" mentality is true throughout St Thomas, so just be patient and it'll be fine. Lastly, when they picked us up from the airport they packed a TON of people from different parties in the same van and drove it with the windows up and the A/C on recirculate. Pros:Agent attempted to coordinate efforts with a different reservation we had with another company regarding the delayed pick up of an additional vehicle. Due to the extended length of time we had to wait she waived the fee to add a second driver to the reservation so we could make arrangements to get the additional vehicle.Cons:We arrived to pick up reserved vehicle around 2:45p and did not received the vehicle until approximately 4:50. Staff did not provide updates on the status of availability of vehicle and had few to no alternatives to offer due to unavailability of vehicles. Since we were renting a minivan she could not offer an upgrade for this rental, made no offer for a discount on current or future rental. Very disappointed that the inconvenience to our group did not even receive an apology for the circumstances or any type of service consolation.Reviewed Mar 23 2021

Pros:Staff was nice and airport experience was easy enough.Cons:Air conditioning barely worked. Rear driver side window came down halfway and got stuck. Suspension was shot. Old car with 90k miles and dents all over.Reviewed Feb 28 2021

Cons:, car not clean was charged $24 as a pickup and drop-off service to the airport the car was in poor condition lots of scratches in chips and cracks in the body work charge the $200 deposit fee up front it was not located at the airport and get I was charged to be picked up and to be taken back to the airportReviewed May 7 2017

Horrible ExperiencePros:Absolutely nothing.Cons:Car was in poor condition. They accused us of losing a hubcap and are tying to charge us for it. Gave us the car with only three quarters full of gas but made us return it filled. Check engine light was on. Tires were completely bald. Hubcap and gas cap door were missing. Car felt unsafe to drive so I returned it early and am asking for a complete refund. Customer service was unfriendly and unhelpful. Also the location was so hard to find and there was no number to call to get the shuttle to pick me up at the airport, had to take a cab. Then they tried to charge more because I didn't "come from the airport". NEVER use this company. I rent cars all the time and I have never experienced something like this.Reviewed Jan 16 2017
