Pick up scheduled after hours
Cons: Pickup time was scheduled after that office was closed. Called ahead to verify and discovered the office closed at noon. Seems like an easy error to head off.

The car was dirty - seats were all stained and it
Cons: The inside of the car was dirty - it smelled as if someone were smoking inside and they tried to cover it up by using air freshener - it made me sick.

Great service and very friendly staff at Charlesto
Pros: I rented SUV and they gave me choice of 2 different models, checkout was extremely quick and easy.

Pros: Went up and beyond to find the rental I wanted and even went to partner company to get it for me. Both guys were very positive and nice. Great customer service.

Enterprise Rental Had No Cars To Fulfill Reservati
Cons: I didn't like taking the time weeks in advance to reserve a car and at the reservation time being told there were no cars available to rent and no idea of when there would be cars to rent. The service was abysmal at best. The manager had no preplanning capabilities and only offered excuses as to why my reservation could not be fulfilled. I will NEVER rent from this Enterprise location EVER again.

Nothing Good to Say
Cons: Make a reservation for a one-way trip from Charleston to Indianapolis. Forced to go to the airport to pick up my rental. Would not allow me to rent from them because I did not have a current credit card that would allow me to rent. I call the next two Enterprise locations and they said they have no more cars left and there is nothing that they could do about it.

Cons: Car had faulty transmission. Could not get any answer on phone from Enterprise for three days. Car seemed at risk of breaking down at any time. Would have liked to swap it out for a car that worked, but could get no response from Enterprise. I complained on return and they took 40 dollars off bill.

Never the same price
Pros: Good vehicles and nice service, especially the folks out in the parking lot. They remember names after a weekend and do a good job of greeting and taking care of me when I rent a vehicle.
Cons: I don't like having a different price every single time I go to rent a vehicle. It would be so much easier to be able to go to the same rental company each time I need a vehicle and get the same price.

Pros: The staff was very polite and friendly.
Cons: The drop off process was not as quick as I would have expected. Most people returning vehicles at the airport are on a tight schedule and need to return vehicles quickly and easily. The staff located at the return tent were friendly but in no hurry. One was playing with a tennis racket and then proceeded to help the customers the arrived after I did because their vehicle was closest to the tent.

Bogus Damage Claim upon return of vehicle
Cons: We were offered a "free upgrade" upon pickup of our vehicle (originally rented a Kia Rio, but were offered a "free" "upgrade" upon picking up the car to a Chevy 200). We have since been made aware of the catch. When we pointed out blemishes and dings to the body to the Enterprise representative present at the initial inspection, we were assured that those were not considered damage by Enterprise, and the representative refused to note them on the inspection document. I received a letter from the "Damage Recovery Unit" today seeking losses for unspecified damage to the vehicle. We intend to fight this, but we feel that we were tricked into being on the hook for this previously damaged vehicle.

Pros: Beautiful van. Had plenty of passenger room and cargo room. Good on gas. Perfect for what we needed.

Pros: Great car and great setup at the charleston airport.
Cons: Wouldn't have minded a few cheaper options but it was a busy weekend and what I did get for the price I paid was more than fair.

Hard to Find Rental Place
Pros: The Enterprise office is located in a auto body repair shop. There is a regular Enterprise rental office much closer on Savannah Highway.
Cons: The return location at Charleston Airport lost computer power and had a or lem getting my receipt.

Kayak best choice
Pros: Shopped for a great deal and found it through Kayak. The car SUV was considerably less than anywhere else I searched

Pros: Carson was a gem! Thank you!! With Hurricane Matthew having just rolled through, the entire reservation process seemed to be a challenge. There were no cars anywhere! Her professional demeanor and pleasant disposition remained "in tact" throughout. Bravo!!
Cons: I had to wait 35 minutes past my appointed pick up time to grab a car. Again, Hurricane Matthew had just rolled through so it was to be expected.

Pros: Check in was quick, didn't ding me on the tank not being 100% full on return, vehicle was clean and everything ran perfectly.

Terrible service-- do not rent at Charleston airpo
Pros: The car (once we got it) was great--clean, drove well. No complaints with the car itself.
Cons: Customer service was terrible. We reserved the car in advance, went to the counter once we arrived, and the service representative told us to go outside to get the car, but they were backed up and it might be a 15 minute wait. He then encouraged us to walk around or grab a coffee before going outside. We did that and went outside only to find that we were not actually in the queue for our car. We had no idea that our payment and check-in inside did not automatically add us to the queue. What kind of crazy system do they have that makes you check in twice and hand a piece of paper to a guy outside in a tent? The guy inside did not manage expectations well at all. He was telling people "10-15 minutes wait" when it was actually closer to an hour wait. He admitted that he couldn't tell people it was an hour wait because they might choose another service. They were backed up on servicing the vehicles, but most of us in line doubted they even had the cars on site. Because they could not manage expectation properly, everyone was furious and complaining and it was a terrible way to start our vacation. I have only ever rented from enterprise in the past, and after this experience I will never rent from them again. Avoid this company at Charleston airport!!!

Pros: Very clean car and great on gas.
Cons: The AC in the car was working but only cool if you have it on max AC, TERRIBLY long line and only two guys working. Management should realize this, staff up based upon flights, then let people go home.

Pros: Prompt service when I arrived to pick up my car.
Cons: The car was smaller than what I had requested and the upgrade was terrible and I had to pay a lot more.

Canceled at last minute
Cons: Last minute trip. last minute res. As I was waiting on UBER to take me to the rental car location, I got a call saying they didn't have any cars. Not sure what happened. Ended up renting elsewhere and had a fine experience with another company that is in a more convenient location just my trip was delayed about 2 hours.
