Pros:Reps at both checkout and checkin were goodCons:Car was very old, beaten up and underpowered. REALLY wasn't clear on insurance and it ended up costing A LOT more than expected. I'm not sure why I bought 3rd party insurance, it didn't really save me anything.Reviewed Sep 4 2017

Scam in Costa ricaCons:Car cost 3.5 times my confirmed rate. They tried to charge me 5.5 and I said that's enough. Most of money extra was insurance and additional add ons such as license charge. Never had this experience before. Very low class!Reviewed Feb 1 2017

Employees lost our luggagePros:Great car for price and seasonCons:An employee loaded our luggage into another customers car that left with our stuff. It was really tough on us because we were traveling with infant and made our first day a looooooong nightmare. They did help in tracking down our luggage, but it was up to us to make arrangement to to meet up with that customer and go pick up our luggage.Reviewed Dec 11 2016

Pros:The people were friendly and (thankfully) spoke English. The "Large SUV" (a Suzuki Grand Vitara) met my needs perfectly although I originally got a smaller vehicle not realizing how small it was going to be. I asked if I could get a manual transmission and they did that for me too, which was great. The SUV performed great on dirt roads along the Guanacaste coastal region.Cons:I opted out of insurance when I booked it, and that was probably a mistake. I think it was a lot cheaper if I had booked it online, and without this I had to buy there and it was almost twice the price of the car. That SUCKED.Reviewed Jul 20 2016
