Anonymous, Sep 2018 - Extended Stay America Suites - Los Angeles - South
Cons (-) When; we entered the room, we found two problems as following: 1. Floor on the room was sticky due to seemingly not cleaning properly. 2. Smoke detector was popping out ringing a beep sound. I asked the staff to change the room, but she seemed to be very arrogant and unfriendly. Her words and attitude made us more tired and uncomfortable.

Cons (-) I WAS THERE WITH MY KIDS AND THEIR FAMILY AND WE GOT THERE AROUND 3;30 PM AND 2 OF THE ROOMS WERE NOT READY UNTILL 5:45. OUT OF THE 4 ROOMS WE HAD RESERVED FOR THE EVENING AND CONFIRMED THE DAY PRIOR THAT WE WOULD BE ARRIVING AROUND 3-3:30ISH AND VERIFIED THE ROOMS WOULD BE READY AS WE HAD A WEDDING TO ATTEND AROUND 6PM. NEEDLESS TO SAY, WE WERE ALL EXTREMELY STRESSED OUT WITH THE ACCOMMODATIONS P...

Cons (-) No carpeting, which was okay. The floors were a vinyl with a wood pattern. They were sticky and filthy. We asked that housekeeping clean them while we were out for the day, but when we came back late in the evening they were still dirty. Also, we were told when we checked in that if we wanted fresh towels or housekeeping service that there would be an extra charge. Although it was an extended stay...

Randall, Jul 2016 - Extended Stay America Suites - Los Angeles - Lax Airport
Pros (+) This hotel is in an excellent location if you're going to be traveling around Los Angeles. I was in town with my wife to meet our new nephew for the first time, and this place was conveniently located near LAX and next to the Howard Hughes shopping center (a really nice place). It's right near the 405 freeway, which is what everyone in LA uses to go back and fourth from the beach to the inland bit...
Cons (-) Well, here's where this hotel got a bad review in my book: customer service. My wife and I went to check into the hotel at night time (around midnight), and when we got into the front lobby, we were greeted by another guest who told us he had already called the hotel, and was told they were sending an employee down to the front desk to check him in -- 30 minutes prior. After we waited for a while,...

Pros (+) Nothing
Cons (-) I was suppose to be in a non-smoking room. I walked into the room and the smoke smell was overwhelming! I went back to the front and informed the staff that the room had been smoked in. They the informed me that they were sorry but they could not put me in another room! They told me that they would spray the room. This did not work! I will never stay at another Extended Stay!
