Pros (+) It was well located for my need. Parking way well lit. Check in and out was smooth. Night manager lent an adapter so I could charge my phone in the room.
Cons (-) Room smelled like cigarettes, although this is a non smoking facility. I imagine this was originally (yes it's old) a smoking allowed hotel and a new coat of paint will not get rid of that smell. Additionally, the carpet had some major stains, there was not even one cup or glass in the room (it's billed as an extended stay) and I'm hoping that I'm wrong but the bed may not have had clean sheets be...

Pros (+) The location of the hotel was great. The cost of the room was great. I liked that it had a refrigerator and microwave.
Cons (-) The "continental breakfast" was terrible. It consisted of coffee with non dairy creamer, instant oatmeal, and packaged nutrigrain bars and muffins. It would be hard to get away with not going out to eat for breakfast which takes away from the value of the hotel. I most likely wouldn't stay here again.

Pros (+) We reserved a non-smoking room. It reeked of smoke. Extended Stay had put us in a non-smoking room, but apparently someone smoked anyway. The staff kindly moved us to a different room.

Cons (-) I traveled with a friend and we reserved two rooms. One of the rooms was handicapped accessible and both were to be non smoking. The accessible room had a terrible odor of smoke and my friend asked to be moved to another room. They found a lower level room for her, but it was not accessible. My friend managed, but we were disappointed that the room was not as we reserved it.

Pros (+) Place was very clean
Cons (-) Manager was terrible. Argued with guests! Very unprofessional looking, she was wearing a dirty t-shirt. She should not be a manager! Water was out for over 12 hours. Couldnt flush toilets or take shower. Health violation and staff kept lying to guests. One employee told me that they brought a plumber from Los Angeles instead of local (San Diego) to save money. This took an extra 4 hours! DONT STAY...

Pros (+) I was disappointed to see that I had inadvertently reserved a smoking room. Gladys went to an extra effort to get me moved into a non-smoking room. We were there for 5 nights and being in a non-smoking room made a huge difference in the quality of our stay.
