Pros: Incredibly great owners! Dave and Justine have really thought of everything possible to make their guests feel comfortable, welcome and at home. Tons of little touches in the room to make our stay special. (I scarfed the biscotti, and new ones kept showing up every day! Nobody ever said "wow, you really like biscotti, eh?") The bed was very comfortable and had every extra we could want.
Dave has instructed at the Culinary Institute of America and makes breakfast every day so you can guess how well that turned out. My wife has a gluten allergy and they worked with that seamlessly.
We explored the Catskills during the day and Justine gave us detailed suggestions about exactly the kind of hikes we were interested in.
We had a great stay and would enthusiastically recommend the Smythe House to our friends!
