South Bend
Pros: Car was great; no problems.
Cons: Flew into South Bend with one price, landed with another. How can a website, knowing you're flying into an airport, book you with an off-site rental agency? I wound up paying $50 more. I will not use you again.

Pros: Nothing. Even the phone "help" proved futile.
Cons: Made a reservation for 6pm pick up, based on my flight/travel time. Got to the office at 6:10pm. It was closed. Not an employee to be found. Called "customer service" to be told there was no way I was getting a car that night, but my rental costs would be refunded. STILL waiting for the refund. Will likely have to call AGAIN to get my money back. I expected better from this company. Don't allow pick up times to be made after you close. And, please, expedite refunds. Hertz has wasted far too much of my time. You've lost a customer for life.
Vehicle wasn't appropriate to drive

Cons: Windshield wipers (front and back) broke during drive, didn't feel safe when we encountered rain.

Cons: waited much to long for a simple return, and finally was told if I didn't require a receipt, just leave the keys, which made me very nervous, but I needed to go, so I did.i was concerned about hertz claiming damage later and I wouldn't be there to dispute. I did take pictures for my protection, but shouldn't have needed to.
1st experience was good
