Everything was fine. It was quite inconvenient that both spouses had to be present for both to be able to drive the vehicle; I’m sure there’s a good reason, but not everywhere has this requirement, so we’ll probably go back to rental services at CMI airport next time. Had to rearrange our whole afternoon last minute and bring our too-young-to-mask-or-vaccinate child in to the building. Drop off would have been better with a prior heads up or better signage regarding leaving the mileage report in the car; I put the keys in the box, then read that I was supposed to put the paperwork in the (locked) car. Pros:They allowed me to book and didn’t have any cars available. They called me 20 minutes before I was supposed to go pick it up asking me to wait until the next day to MAYBE get a car . Cons:The car was about 1/8 below a full tank. And then the car showed that one of the rear tires was very low which I didn’t notice until I was off the lot but it made me a bit nervous while on the highway.Reviewed Jul 10 2020

Cons:My rental was fast and trouble free. I thought Hertz was very organized and quick check in and out. Vehicle was new and clean, I didn’t have the same experience with Enterprise on my last rental. The rental rate was the lowest rate I could find.Reviewed Apr 30 2019

Pros:No, I got to the rental place a little after my schedule time. I was renting the car to travel to Chicago . My car was in the shop. I arrived at the office. And they said sorry there are no cars for u to rent. We would have called u but didn't have your number. I asked if the other location had anyCons:I reserved a car would have been nice is there was one for me when I got there. Pros:The fact I will never rent from that store again.Cons:She was belligerent with the customer before me. I give keys then leave. She calls me at almost noon to tell me she’s charging me 300 for ashes in the vehicle. I had powdered doughnuts. Then she told me I could pick the car up by noon to get it. At 11:59 am. Just plain rude. Nicole was her name, and it was definitely a learning experience. I will never rent a car in Champaign through that Hertz again! 707 N Mattis street. Both of the employees were kind of stanfoffish, but Nicole was just rude!Reviewed Dec 23 2018
