Kayak or CarRentals booked me for a rental. The process was very easy. CarRentals charged my card a non-refundable portion of the rental fees, only to find out a couple hours later that Hertz had no cars whatsoever for rental! Hertz is just a vehicle provider. Kayak is the front face of renting a car from Hertz. CarRentals is a fraudulent middle-man, charging non-refundable cost for a product Kayak or Hertz couldn't provide. I will no longer use middle-men for auto or room rental.Reviewed Jul 28 2025

I canceled my rental two days ahead of time of pick-up as that is what I thought I read, in order to receive all of my money back. I did get it back. I only wanted an SUV to make sure we could get through a snow storm as my wife had to drive 100 miles to pick up our son at Christmas. There was no snow so I didn't need the car. Next time, I will rent the vehicle a couple of days out instead of having to rent and cancel. I have rented vehicles from that location at least three times and always had a good experience. ....thanksReviewed Dec 26 2023
