Pros:Car was fine and what we needed.
Cons:Although I requested pick-up/drop-off at airport, sometime during the process I apparently was offered an alternative site which I must have chosen because when we went to pick up the car, I was told that the reservation was a 30 min drive away. Of course we could have rented on site for an additional $300 for the week. Then, after taking the $60 van ride to the pick up lot & standing in line for an hour because the computers were down, we were told that they didn't have any child seats on site. You've got to be kidding, I said. Well, you can call yourself & see if any of the other sites (including the airport) have them & go & pick it up yourself, I was told & reiterated by the Hertz representative when I called the main number. (And what were we supposed to do with our child?!) We went to the nearby Target & purchased a seat. This is the worst experience I've ever had with pick-up.

Cons:The daily insurance was much too expensive.
Cons:I thought I was renting to pick up at Hertz at Portland airport. Turns out that I had to spend $30 to take a taxi to the Hertz off site location. Then I had to pay $30 drop off fee for returning the car to the Portland airport. Because I was late for my appointment and had no time to wait, I was given a car that was not washed. My fault for not reading the fine print on the pickup location. Never again!!!
Pros:I like the convenience of picking the vehicle I want to rent. Returning the vehicle was very easy. The entire process did not take much time at all.
Cons:Sold out of my car so my reservation didn’t want. and I was supposed to go to my Dads 80th Birthday. I made it, but not through Hurtz.
Pros:The price was the best and Hertz was accommodating.

Pros:Great Car and easy to work with Hertz. Plus, the car rental is right at the airport. Bonus!
Cons:They booked our rental car at the wrong Hertz location it was supposed to be at the airport but instead it was quite a ways away and we had to spend $53 to take a taxi to go get our rental car then we had to pay more money to return it to a different place so overall it was the pits
Pros:Car was fine.
Cons:I paid for insurance through Kayak and was notified when picking up the car that that didn't really cover anything and ended up paying an additional $175 for insurance through Hertz, a bit of the bait and switch if you ask me and both Hertz and Kayak are at fault. I had scheduled to drop off at night and wasn't provided with any instructions, luckily the valet from across the street let me know what to do (apparently he lets renters know what to do pretty often since Hertz can't be bothered).
