Pros:GAS MILEAGE GOOD AND SPACIOUS

Pros:Friendly staff. Vehicle was clean and new. Great value for my money.
Cons:It turned out that my original booking was an off-site location which closed 5 hours before I was to arrive. It then cost well over $100 to switch to a pickup at the airport site. We got distracted on the return and failed to recover our GPS navigation unit. So far that has not been turned in by their employee. Airbag need service and the passenger bag even turned off on occasion.
Pros:The staff was very courteous and friendly. We received a free upgrade and was very pleased with it.
Cons:It was a long wait to pickup the car but at no fault to the staff, there were a lot of people picking up cars. The only problem is that we wanted to change to another driver since the person who reserved the car was not feeling well, but they said it couldn't be changed since we booked online. Therefore, we had to add an additional driver which caused the rental fee to double.
Pros:Nothing, unfortunately.
Cons:Hertz had no car for me. And no other carriers had a car available. I was stuck w/o a car.

Cons:My car was not at the airport rental center in Albuquerque where I expected it to be. it cost $33 in taxi fare to go to a different location to pick up the car. It then cost an additional $31 and change in a "city recovery fee" to drop this car at the airport location. I asked the manager at ABQ airport to remove it and she said that she tried but couldn't. I asked an agent at the San Mateo location to remove it and he said that it would not be removed. The clerk at the SM location where I picked up the car was very slow. Guess that I cannot rent vehicles thru Kayak, Hertz or Car Rentals again.
Pros:Car was fine
Cons:I rented a Managers Special. I assumed, since it was a car rental, that it would be a car. I was given a choice between a pickup truck or a Ford Expedition. I had to pay to obtain a car. I feel that is false advertising.
