Smoking area is directly in front of the doors. I wish they would move it further away. Easy walk to most attractions and a metro station.

Sebastian, Jan 2022 - Homewood Suites by Hilton Washington DC Convention Center
The room had no not water. Stove was broken and there were no linens and enough towels. The service personal was very good trying to solve the issues, but they couldn’t change our room cause the hotel was full. Fortunately, the second night they gave us a second complimentary room to at least shower. From there it was much better. We have to go back and fwd to the second room to use the shower, bu...

Pros (+) The area was great. The hotel was really nice with great facilities. It was easy to get to the highway and easy to get on the metro and get around the city.
Cons (-) The only problem was the pool wasn't open. It is understandable and we knew that but I have been to other hotels during this time and they were open.

Rich, Apr 2020 - Homewood Suites by Hilton Washington, D.C. Downtown
Pros (+) We arrived during coronavirus restrictions, so no breakfast, no evening socials, no porter, no room cleaning. But it was a perfectly adequate small suite for a short stay. Nice to have k-cups in the room. Very friendly and helpful staff!
Cons (-) The room decor was stuck in the 90s: brown and utilitarian. We hoped to have a full kitchen for cooking, but there was only a two-burner stovetop, no oven, and limited cookware. We cooked just a couple meals before deciding this wasn't going to work for us long-term.

Cons (-) Elevators are literally the slowest i've every encoutered! it's weird waiting so long everytime I come and go! Also, I got locked out of my room right before an important meeting. The lock had a physical issue and they had to send a tech to fix the door....but I missed a big meeting because of it.

Pros (+) I like it gives you your own kitchen in the room and it's across the street from a grocery store. Its clean, front desk is nice.
Cons (-) Breakfast was leftover food from the social, you have to pay 50 bucks for parking everynight. The toilets water pressure is atrocious i mean 5 sheets of paper takes 2 tries to flush.
