Jamie, Jul 2025 - Hilton Garden Inn Washington DC Downtown
My week there was a very hot week and the lobby, lounge, and halls were not air conditioned. There was also a dampness to the rooms above the normal humidity of the area.

Floor in the room was quite dirty. Did not look like it had been vacuumed recently.

Ericka, Jun 2023 - Hilton Garden Inn Washington, DC/U.S. Capitol
Clean and comfortable room, friendly and helpful staff. Grocery, CVS, Starbucks, and plenty of dining options within a block or less. A bit on the expensive side but I suppose it is par for DC hotels, especially those near the Capitol.

Seth, May 2019 - Hilton Garden Inn Washington DC/Georgetown Area
Pros (+) The restaurant downstairs was good. The staff is what made it great. The front desk was very helpful. Rooms were clean and the hotel overall was well maintained.
Cons (-) There was a smell in the lobby area the entire week I stayed there on business. My room initially smelled also but it disappeared after a few hours. Not sure what it was but it was not good.

Mitchell, Feb 2018 - Hilton Garden Inn Washington DC/Georgetown Area
Pros (+) Great location - easy to get to and with electronic key, I don't need to ever interact with the front desk staff. Just come in go to my room, and when I'm ready to leave, just leave. Makes it simple. Also, there are times when the prices are great (under $200) for a room. Makes this my go to hotel when in DC (especially for meetings, etc., in the Georgetown area).
Cons (-) Sometimes the hotel rates balloon up beyond $300. Not to happy for a Hilton Garden Inn to be that expensive.
