6.8 Good
Pros: I appreciate the shuttle to/from the airport. The kitchen also stayed open late to make sure I had dinner. That was very nice.
Cons: There is no such thing as a smoke free room in this hotel. The entire place smells of cigarettes and marijuana. I then smelled like smoke for my meeting! My sheets were stained. That was gross. The police showed up because of a domestic dispute were a gun was brandished and confiscated by the officers. I just kept my head down and dealt with it. In and out.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Staff was nice.
Cons: I had to switch rooms because the shower curtain fell. 2nd room had same problem, so I just held the curtain by hand while taking a shower...twice. Noisy place too. I would never stay here again. 1 star at best. Money back?

Pros: Location to Mountain Brook.
Cons: It was comfortable just a little dated--halls were narrow, rooms small. There was a chipped spot on the tub but the shower worked great. All in all, I was pleased. Location is excellent. Lots of good restaurants and chic shopping nearby.

6.0 Good
Pros: Clean room
Cons: Breakfast area was way to crowded
7.9 Good
Pros: Convenient to downtown (less than 10 minutes) and has three restaurants within walking distance. The bed was fantastically comfortable. Room was generally clean. We got in late one night and wanted got chocolate. We remembered there was hot water in the lobby and hit chocolate packets. Unfortunately the water was all gone, but the associate behind the desk got us some very hot water from the back kitchen. She didn’t have to, but she did.
Cons: When we checked in, the girl didn’t check our card carefully. I booked with one card and wanted it charged to a different card. She didn’t check it and charged it to the wrong account. It had a different name on it- it honestly could have been stolen. It wasn’t, but she didn’t check. We were right by the back outside and every time the outside door opened, our door or something whistled. Thankfully we had a white noise machine or sleeping would have been difficult. Our door had what we think was dust caking the top portion. Probably where the wind whistles through so much... there was so much we investigated it thinking it was black mold or something. Thankfully it wasn’t!
