Refused to allow me to request my seat ahead of time to try and charge a $50 fee for an upgraded seat, even though by purchasing a ticket, I am guaranteed a seat on the plane. 3. Late once again. So far every flight taken by JetBlue this year has been late. My only on time flight this year has been with Delta. I do believe they are the new Spirit Airlines in disguise. This airline has been moved to the bottom of my list. I may take them once more but it depends on how many points I have with them, if it's enough to cover a free trip. If it doesn't, I will forfeit as the aggravation and nasty behaviour at the check in counter especially at LaGuardia is too much to take. They are also every discriminatory at that airport also, especially the people who work at JetBlue. I have to take responsibility for keep trying. It the same as beating a dead horse and expecting it to get up and run."

Then on of my checked luggage was lost enroute - which made getting off the flights even later which made me miss a meeting that I was scheduled to be at. I stayed at the airport to catch a 5:00 am flight to Houston, then to Omaha, then had to rent a car to get the rest of the way. United lied to us about what was happening to us several times. The hotel (Biltmore in Santa Clara) was very nice. The plane crew did their best to help passengers with connections to catch, especially those with international ones."
Cons: "Delay at boarding: long LONG motionless line with no explanation to this large crowd of passengers led to delay in departure. Many missed connections, including mine. Later on, learned that some mechanical problem was the cause, so delay understandable, but someone should have made an announcement to the waiting passengers. Due to conventions in SF, we were told, we had to be put up in Santa Clara, down in Silicon Valley, an hour away. Expecting major morning traffic jams, we asked for a 5 am shuttle (plane leaving at 8, plus having to go thru security again). Since it took 2 hours from landing in SF at 10:30 pm to getting to the hotel, there was little time for sleep and no food available at the hotel at those hours. The shuttle drivers seemed confused, relying on GPS to guide them and speaking little English."

Ordinarily I would be understanding in this, but speaking as a military pilot, a simple walk around of the plane would have shown no ice or snow accumulation on any surfaces, and precipitation had steady stopped. It was sunny as they finally sprayed the empenage down. Compounding our frustration was a lack of communication from the flight crew. We were already boarded and delayed over 30 minutes before they announced the reason for the delay. There was no update as to our position in the queue of planes waiting for de-ice. And when the truck finally did show up, it sat next to the aircraft for close to 10 minutes before it finally began the process of de-icing our iceless aircraft. Very frustrating."

Cons: "This time the attendant still wouldn’t let anyone in rows 2 & 3 place the carry on they had paid extra for in the overhead bins, but she didn’t make me put it under the seat in front of me (this losing the extra leg room we paid for), so I put it in a bin behind me. The plane was late, but the pilot made up most of the time, but then it took 55 minutes to get our luggage."

Cons: "The total cost of the flight is just a fraction of what you’ll pay. The nickel and dime you for everything. $38 for a carrying on, same for a checked bag. It was a quick trip and thought a back pack would be okay to carry on.... nope that’s $38, if you pay ahead of time. They charge more at the gate. When you check in they try to get you to pay anywhere from $9 to $21 to pick a seat. Seats don’t recline either. Flight was also late. You’re better off paying the full fare on another flight than flying Frontier. Never again."

Cons: "I wish that I'd seen the review regarding carry on baggage fees. Given that I had to pay for my baggage each way and to reserve a seat (to avoid being in a middle seat), I'm not sure that Frontier ended up being the most economical choice. When you consider that Frontier's seats don't recline and the only complimentary refreshment offered on a even a four hour flight is water, I would've preferred to pay a few more bucks with a more conventional airline."

Pros: "On board attendants were pleasant and friendly. The arrival and departure were timely. On this trip my seat mates were thin enough that they fit within their seats as compared to another Frontier flight I took where my seat mates were a husband and wife who I estimate both weighed over 300 pounds. Even though they did not use the arm rest between the two of them, their combined weight/hel bulged over and under the arm rest next to me so I had at most 2/3 of the already small and cramped seat for myself."
Cons: "I think it is basically deceptive to advertise comparatively low prices then charge between $10 to $70 to obtain round trip seat assignments, $60-80 to carry one bag round trip, and $2.99 for a soda. I don't like the fact that even if you have a boarding pass that it is necessary to go through the entire line with folks who may or may not have a boarding pass to check a bag. If I had known this I would have paid the extra amount for a carry on bag. The non reclining skinny seat style and limited knee room/leg room is tolerable for a 2 or 3 hour flight but I can't imagine taking a much longer Frontier flight."

Cons: "Where to start? Our first flight was delayed by over two hours with no explanation. Our connecting flight was also significantly delayed. Once we arrived at our destination, we realized our bags had not. All three pieces of our checked luggage are missing. We're on a beach vacation nearly four hours from the airport with no swimsuits, towels, toothbrushes. Thanks for nothing, Frontier!"

I sat next to a family that was going on vacation and had just spent their spending money to get their luggage on the flight. I felt so bad for them! I was traveling on business, so I'm hoping I will be able to get my organization to pay, but might get stuck with that charge on my own dime since there were options that would have been cheaper. I realize now that I'd heard somewhere this is the way Frontier works, but it definitely needs to be made very clear what all the costs are when customers are making the purchase. Though I have this information for future,this experience left such a bad taste in my mouth I will go out of my way to avoid traveling Frontier in the future."
Cons: "There is a lot to complain about with this airline. I cannot comment on the comfort, food not entertainment because I missed my flight. Granted the flight missing was not the fault of the airline however I would have imagined that the staff would have told me in no way would I make my flight with the security lines the way they were. Once we made it through we ran the entire length of the airport to try and make the flight in hopes that they might delay the plane. That's is not the whole complaint because it happens. However; my bags flew with the flight I missed. The ticket agent assured us the bags would get to the destination and I could pick them once I arrived on the later flight (through a different airline). When I arrived NO employees where to be found. The "helpline" not helpful not even to tell me if the bags were there and lock and I could get them in the morning. Instead I was talk to condescending and rude, thanks to Kim in Colorado. I stayed the night over since my home is 3 hours from the airport. Next morning at 8:30 I call to speak to someone, helpline again unhelpful. Could not tell me when someone would be there or anything about my bags. I show up the airport. No staff. I waited for an hour and half for a ticket agent. Once I posted on their social media page that I was unhappy that person told me when they would be there and their hours. NOT THE HELPLINE but I already stood around picked up my bags and was out of there. I will never fly this airline. They nickel and dime you and have terrible customer service."
Pros: "Price but with the add-ons that wasn't even very good."
Cons: "Frontier scheduling two flights within fifteen minutes of the other. Only two workers at the ticket counter.....neither with anything resembling a sense of urgency. Bigger issue is your baggage policy.....it takes much longer to check in people with checked baggage, if carry-ons were cheaper many would not check baggage, making the process much more efficient."
Pros: "Flight was early which was a delight. Friendly crew. Only free water. Plane was clean. No first class."
Cons: "Was not made aware that there was a charge for ANY baggage. Very unsettling at the gate, and felt I had been hijacked into paying that fee. Makes for very bad public relations."
