Pros: I like the breakfast that is including with your stay, serve times and late check out. The location was amazing.
Cons: I did not like the bed bug that we found in the sofa sleeper! I did not like that the hotel staff were ultra nonchalant about a live bug crawling on the mattress of the sofa sleeper. The hotel gave me another room however and some point weak :-(...

Cons: One of our guests mentioned that the placement of the coffee maker in the bathroom really made it quite undesirable, and I would have to agree.
Pros: Clean and nice, people were helpful. The king size bed was incredible, Also the breakfast was pretty tasty.
Cons: The drawer below the microwave wouldnt close, and there seemed to be a melted spot on the nightstand...?

Pros: Close to restaurants, very clean rooms , very friendly staff
Cons: Breakfast could've had few more options
Pros: Everything seemed new and up to date. Staff was nice. Breakfast was good , typical items, staff kept up with keeping the food fresh. Definitely would stay here again.
Pros: The hotel was located close to the interstate and was in close proximity to several restaurants and shopping options.
Cons: I was not impressed with the front desk staff and the customer service that was provided. I waited at the desk for 15 minutes to check in to the hotel. There was no one there. When the desk clerk finally arrived, he didn't apologize or say anything.
Pros: Close to I40
Cons: Parking lot trash. Cardboard boxes stacked in lobby. Clerk seemed 'put out' to check us in. Room only adequate. Dirty tile grout in bathroom. Definitely not a 3 star property. Save ----bucks and go to econolodge, motel 6 or the equivalent. Lower stars.
Cons: Not 3 star hotel. I checked out as soon as i saw that it was poorly put together and got a room at Courtyard instead. Toilet tip side to side and room had smell. Not cleaned very well. Door did not close tight. Front desk was not friendly.
Pros: Modern, clean, updated room.
Cons: Advertised as having pool and spa, but did not. Bathroom tile looked clean, but grout needed help. Otherwise, bathroom looked very clean.
Cons: Noise from other rooms checking in the middle of the night.
Pros: The short distance from the Interstate and the campus of Union University.
Cons: The mildew present on the grout in the shower.
Cons: I do not believe this is a 3 star hotel as being compared to others in the area with a 3 star rating.
Pros: The location and the breakfast was very nice. The beds were also comfortable
Pros: Cleanliness of hotel
78 room non-smoking property, featuring beautifully decorated rooms including 20 suites, two meeting rooms, and within minutes of all major attractions in the area.
Pros: Staff was very friendly and bed was comfortable.
Cons: Parking was terrible; had to park in the business next door.
Everything was old and run down (cigarette burn holes in bed linens). Felt dirty because of the age of everything.
Pros: Staff was incredibly friendly. Quiet stay. Clean room.
Pros: not much
Cons: linens were old and stained. slept on top of sheets due to hopefully?? old?? stains on sheets. bad layout no good parking.
Pros: The staff were friendly, it was easy to get to, frig and micro in room and the closeness to shopping and restaurants.
Cons: There were no parking places in the back of the hotel.

Cons: There wasn't one thing I didn't like it was a great stay
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was convenient by the highway.
Cons: This property was falsely advertised as a 3 star hotel. It was worn out and dirty (dust behind furniture) and expensive for the quality of the property. It should have been rated as a 2 star property.
Cons: Hotel changed my room reservation to a room with an awful foldout bed, lacking sheets. Trash and dead cockroaches on the hallway carpets and stairwells. Desk clerk not on duty when I arrived, waited10 minutes, then learned my reservation (paid in advance) was not being honored. Entire first floor apparently booked by travelers with dogs and pets. Didn't stay for "breakfast" after seeing the dark, tiny room with a few bagels. This place is a dump, not at all like La Quintas at airports.

Cons: The shower had a visible mold problem. The paint in the bathroom was melting off the wall from having previously painted over the existing mold. Also, the outdoor pool was not clean and the beds were very small. This was a dangerous place to stay and made my wife extremely uncomfortable, we left at 4 am.
Pros: Quiet place close to a shopping center and an interstate. Fairly inexpensive.
Pros: The staff was friendly
Cons: Don't be fooled by the photos online and the outside appearance!!!! For the money you pay it's definitely NOT worth it. The room was extremely nasty, the A/C leaked all over the floor, so we couldn't go on that side of the room and was just told to put some towels there. The bathroom light went out on my husband as he was taken a shower, so he couldn't see anything and could have possibly injured his self. We stayed two nights and was not offered room service for the next day. The hallway and the room had a horrible smell to it. I don't think it's fair when you book reservations, and they take the money out so now your force to stay somewhere your not please with and not offered any of your money back for such a horrible stay!!!!! Again, dont be fooled!!!!!!

Pros: don't stay at this place it's awful. it's dirty smell horrible and the beds are like bricks. the staff was rude to me whenever I tried to get my money back for the room and refused to do so.
Cons: Old stained toilets (disgusting!)
Old warned out carpet
Walls need repairing
Pros: Reasonable cost
Cons: We were on the fifth floor and the vent in the ceiling near the door led to the roof. Much dust and lint was visible. We were concerned about breathing while were in the room. The air conditioner was very noisy and the iron would not stay warm enough to use. It also leaked water on my skirt and I was unableto wear it .
Pros: Absolutely nothing.
Cons: The staff was rude and very unprofessional. As soon as,I walked in I realized that the hotel had a foul odor. The furniture was dingy. The towels had stains on them. However, the biggest issue was the manager's (Christopher)attitude. I checked in the hotel with no problem. Then,I left to visit with my family. Once,I returned back to the hotel my keys no longer worked,so I went to the front desk to get new ones. It was then I met the manager from hell. He told me he had deactivated my keys because I owe him money for my stay. I expressed to him that I had already paid hotel club.com I even showed him my confirmation email, and he stated that meant nothing to him. So,I got on the phone with hotel club.com and they called the hotel and fixed the situation. And he still had the worst attitude as if it was my fault he hadn't received payment from hotel club.com. So,I say all that to say if you have any minor complications with your reservation please don't expect any sympathy or professionalism from this staff. Worst hotel stay ever. Nasty hotel and awful staff is a terrible combination.
Pros: Location off the highway
Cons: Dirty, dusty, not taken care of. The pool was freezing . Looked like someone had forgotten to take care of it since 1989. The plastic plants on the balconey had years of dust built up on them. Desk staff was not very helpful. Bathroom was moldy in places.
When visiting Jackson, All Suites Hotel is a great choice to consider. Guests can take a dip in the indoor pool and indulge in massages. A bar/lounge and a fitness center are offered, and in-room conveniences include refrigerators and microwaves.

Cons: Bedding deplorable, shower makes noises ,holes in the wall, dirty and unkempt outside and they forgot to clean our room during our 2 night stay
Pros: Check in staff was amazing and accommodating! Great hot breakfast.
Cons: Lots of random people walking around the hotel... Not sure if they were staying there or not. A little odd. Morning desk staff was absent and when I did see her... She was talking loudly with her friends. Pleasant when I did have to check out. She just wasn't professional.

Pros: Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly
Cons: Rooms, hallways, and pool were all very dated and not very clean-dusty furniture, dirty bathtub and counters.Expected more for the money. Guests were loud late into the night, children running/playing up and down the halls. I'd expect that with lower rate
Pros: The staff was amazing! Very helpful, kind. Best service I have ever received at a hotel!
Cons: Outside of hotel was run down, inside was clean and neat but old. Would not rate this as a 3 star hotel.
Cons: I reserved a room online and it was for smoking and when I get there no smoking rooms available.. That was the only reason I booked a room there.
Pros: Everything worked and everything was clean
Pros: The pool was awesome, hot tub awesome, room was great, beds comfortable and clean, and the staff were beyond friendly and helpful!!! BEST experience!!!
Pros: Great location
Cons: It could use a bit of updating.
Pros: Customer Service!
Cons: The room itself. My toliet malfunctioned but I worked around it because the staff was so nice!
Pros: The price...
Cons: It was old, dilapidated, falling apart & it stunk. Honestly, too many things to list. VERY disappointing.
Pros: Had an indoor pool
Cons: Small rooms, bathroom tiny..all and all a very old not updated hotel., Housekeeping only emptied the trash (was there two days)
Pros: The customer service and staff was awesome.
Cons: My suite had roaches and the bed in the couch was broke. The room decor is antiquated. Couch wore out and low due to the springs broke in the hideway bed!!!
Pros: The indoor pool. Traveling with kids & staying in a hotel with aindoor pool during the fall & winter months is great.
Cons: Hotel maids very slow to clean the rooms & if you stay more than one day they don't even come in to clean sometimes.
Cons: Pool was filthy! Our secondary locks were broke, and outside security door lock is broke so anyone can enter. Ive stayed at better places for half the price! Would not go here again. Pictures look great online, but a big let down when you arrive.

Pros: Beds were nice and soft. Although the building was obviously older, the furnishings in the room didn't look bad. The breakfast was as expected.
Cons: Booked room through Kayak and included number of guests (4). Upon arriving, the hotel clerk told me I had to pay more than the price on Kayak due to the number of guests. I'm not sure who was at fault here, but I think the hotel should have honored the rate and dealt with Kayak to figure it out.
Also, I asked the same lady for some hot water to melt ice that had accumulated on my car. She was right next to a sink, but told me I could get some from my (upstairs) room. Not very helpful.
The latch on our door did not always catch, and was a security hazard. I forgot to mention it to the front desk, but it's a product of the age of the building.
There was a freak ice storm the night before we left, and while not the fault of the hotel, the fact that it is on top of a hill made getting down to the street a little dangerous.

Woke up at 2:30 AM thinking it was about 7 AM. It was the bright light outside of my room causing my confusion. I thought the sun was coming up.

Pros: There was nothing good about this place. My husband and I try to find affordable options as we road trip, which we do often. This was without a doubt the most disgusting hotel I have ever been in. There was nothing good about it. The best part was when we left.
Cons: The stink is unbearable. I had a headache within 20min of arriving and it never went away because it was so stinky. There were hair balls on the blankets and the blankets were terribly sticky. The carpeting was sticky everywhere. The walls were dirty. When my alarm went off at 6am I jumped out of bed and we were out of there by 6:15. I'm not a morning person at all, so this speaks to how bad it was. We drove for about 20min to a rest stop and slept for another two hours in our car. We didn't dare use the towels and we most certainly didn't bring our suitcases in for fear of bed bugs (for the record there were no bed bugs so I guess that's something positive). And checking in was also a nightmare. The man at the front desk was friendly but couldn't type in our reservation correctly and it took about 15min to check us in and we already had a reservation. I can't imagine what would have happened if we hadn't payed yet (we would have left, that's what). Then we got over to our room and the key reader didn't work so we had to go back and stand in line again to get another one. Just don't stay here.
Pros: Room was clean and the mattress was comfortable. Chairs provided by the hotel were not good. I don't expect first class in an inexpensive hotel, but it would be nice if the desk chair was comfortable and the other chair seat wasn't dirty and stained with who knows what. It was okay for my male friend and me, but my wife would never stay at Old Hickory Inn. I give it two stars. Fine if you are on a tight limited budget.
Cons: The light cover in the bathroom was so old and filthy that light could barely get through it. The toilet made a loud screeching sound which went on for about a minute after flushing.Otherwise, the bathroom was clean.
Pros: Finally a good value with no bad surprise!
Pros: The tv's
Cons: Rusted refrigerator
Pros: Clean , comfortable, close to everything, but has three bars behind it and until 1ish they are loud, really LOUD.
Cons: Bars was loud
Pros: Marriott was sold out and this was my
Pros: low price comparably, one of the two people at front desk was nice
Cons: very dirty and sketchy, never had such thin walls, not well kept at all
Pros: The staff was friendly. We have service dogs and there were no issues with check in that we have found in many establishments.
It was very clean. Comfortable beds with clean sheets and comfortable pillows.
Cons: There are some maintenance issues. Stains on the ceiling, popcorn on the ceiling was coming down in some locations. Bathrooms needupgrades or at least some new caulking aaround the tub and fixtures.
Enjoy your visit to Jackson with a stay at Old Hickory Inn Jackson. You can visit the fitness center for a workout or unwind with a drink at the beach bar. An outdoor pool and a seasonal outdoor pool are other highlights, and rooms offer conveniences like refrigerators and microwaves.
Cons: Dark halls, weird smell, 6 police cars when we came back from dinner, it just felt weird and unsafe.
Pros: The only 2 things I liked about my stay were the price and the lady at the front counter was friendly.
Cons: I didn't like the location being tucked away in the back of another hotel. The hotel was old and dirty. My room obviously had not been cleaned. There was makeup on the bed and pillow as well as hair. They just picked up trash and made the bed without changing the sheets. The rooms appeared to have been remodeled by someone with very little experience. The mattress felt like it was about 20 years old...worn out and lumpy. Would not recommend.
Pros: Price, but still overpriced
Cons: Noisy clientele, noisy doors, thin walls.
Stairs were fire doors, but all propped open, no exit signs (when was last safety inspection??)
Overall conditions deplorable: hair on floors and on towels, physical plant falling apart equivalent to slum. Entire second floor smelled like someone killed a skunk in their room.
Motel very hard to find because entrance was behind two other motels, dark and unsafe.
People behind desk actually nice and helpful.
