Cons:

Travelers are in a hurry, when we do a Phone SEARCH, MCI rental cars, we actually want to PICKUP at MIC airport. Travelers don't know what street address or zip code is at the downtown location. Then there's no way to call you, you were closed. I better NOT had been charged anything.

Pros:

The pickup process was very quick. Staff was friendly and helpful. Price was considerably less to pick up at the downtown location vs the airport- $200 less!

Cons:

The downtown location didn't have a way to return the rental to them late Saturday or Sunday. I had to pay extra to take it to the airport, less than 1-2 day rental, but still a drag.

Pros:

drop off was easy

Cons:

the car was dirty, the pick up attendant was short with me, the car was on empty and I had to repeatedly ask him to wipe off spit luggies from the inside of the car, he was hot and in a hurry, very transactional not the proffessionalism I am used to with you guys or other rental companies

When I reserve an all-wheel-drive specifically because we’re gonna need it in the Colorado mountains, I expect them to have it available. We could’ve driven our own car if we did not need all-wheel-drive. We had to go to another Avis location to find a suitable car which put our trip departure significantly behind schedule.

Avis assessed an " ESTIMATED NON TAXABLE PRODUCTS/SERVICES" amount of $389. 90 . This amount is not defined. I suspect it is a 'DROP-OFF FEE' . AVIS needs to clarify. More transparency needed on expected expenses.

The car was great and the staff was very helpful

Cons:

Drop off was not easy to figure out, I wish they had let me know ahead of time how to do the after hours drop off, since they knew I rented it until 10pm on the day of my return.

They didn’t have any vehicles available when I got there, they were sold out for the day. I was also told I needed to have a $500 deposit ready in the case a car became available and a credit check was required. Definitely will not try to go through this company again.

They did not have our car ready at the time it was reserved, and did not have an idea of when it would be ready. Therefore, we had to make alternate travel arrangements the same day, over the holidays, which was a huge issue.

Customer service was poor. I was charged for pick-up and drop-off at 2 different locations even after she confirmed with me I was dropping off at the same location. I will now have to dispute it. She didn't explain that even after my initial payment of $201, that my card would be charged another $261 for some reason and when I called customer service the next day, the guy explained that it was a deposit that wouldn't be charged after I return the car. However, the extra charge remains for inter-city drop-off. And, the person at the desk pointed out and told us to select a car from the "right" but if there weren't any to go to the "left" and when we got outside, there weren't any cars in the Compact area at all! So we just got in one! I still don't know if we chose correctly or if I am to be charged again! Not a choice I want to make with no help after a long day of traveling. No explanation given for extra charges.

We gave 3 days of cancellation notice because of SW airlines having there pilot problems and they kept $50.00 instead of refusing our full amount. It’s a bad policy and provides a bad service. I will never use Hertz again.

Contact Super Shuttle for your trip to/from airport to pick up vehicle. It's AWESOME! Also, if you don't rent your car from the airport, it's a whole lot less expensive. Like half as much!

Pros:

Rental car was not available at location. I feel this was a scam/fraud. I am not able to get my money back. You should penalize vendors who take advantage of changing rental car location. My dad was sick in the hospital and this made it worse.

Cons:

Full refund and penalizing Priceline for their fraudulent practices.

receipt. Car was returned after being profesionaly cleaned by commercial cleaners. After I left, they added a 300$ cleaning charge to my bill.

They weren't even very friendly. I had a reservation over 24 rs in advance when I got there to pick up the car. They informed me that they didn't even have cars when the car was booked. .. EXTREMELY UN ACCEPTABLE
