There was an extremely subtle dent in the door that could have been there when i picked up the vehicle. You could only see it by looking at it from a slight angle, into light reflecting off of the vehicle surface. It was documented as new damage.

There was a line up probably 35/40 people deep, one girl at the counter got up and put all her stuff into her purse and left leaving two girls to fend for themselves…once I got through the line up (approximately 1hr) I got a piece of paper proceeded to the car pick up area, which was complete chaos, no lines no way of telling where your vehicle was or how to get it, THE most unorganized car rental place I’ve ever been to in my life…after an hour and a half ( I ordered a small Toyota Corolla) I was offered a VW SUV which at this point I didn’t care, I just wanted to get going, so when I looked the vehicle over prior to driving it, it wasn’t that clean, still had some dirt and mud, there was another lady who had ordered a small car and she was offered a full size SUV…I don’t think I’ll ever rent a car from this place again

Horrible. Car was filthy and the Tesla came with 71%. Charge. I locked myself out of the car somehow and there is no directions on how to get into the car! I almost had it towed - I couldn’t see out of the windshield either and I washer fluid - disgusting

Budget was a huge disappointment. I had a reservation ahead of the day I wished to rent. When I went to the counter, I was told no vehicles were available at the moment and that there would be a 1-2 hour wait. This inconvenienced me tremendously and I will not reserve with Budget again.

Cons:

Found old groceries in the van... which is not the vehicle we rented. Stood with my family for 45 minutes waiting for them to find something and they brought out a van and said this or wait. Not sure how it was cleaned when there was a bag of food under the seat. Oh well. Won’t do it again.

Pros:

The staff at New Orleans was extremely helpful and made the process of picking up the vehicle very easy.

Cons:

The vehicle was a new large suv that did not have any of the current safety systems and it did not have the XM radio turned on? For that rental price I would have thought that they would have included those items? Maybe next time?

Pros:

Went to confirmed pickup location...location was closed and no notification at site. Went to another location and was so poorly organized with pickup and return.

Cons:

Web site should have said original pickup location had been closed.

The staff was apologetic and friendly. They also said we did not have to refill the gas due to having to wait so long

The car would not start the very last day. I called avis and was put on an endless hold. The car eventually started and I immediately returned the car. Opon returning, the associate said the computer was down and to just leave the keys with her. I wish the car was as nice as the associate. The car has 37k miles on it and should be taken out of service. This was the worst car I ever rented from Avis.

Lady at the counter was asleep and had this attitude where she seems to not want to work and just want to get you out of there. Terrible service. We booked at Budget instead which was right next to National and had way better service.
