Nice resort with beautiful grounds. Rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated. We stayed in an "ocean view" room which had a very nice "beach area outside of our back door and veranda. Parking is limited and constrained. The shuttle service to Old Town is inconvenient (2 hour intervals); but free. There are very few local (within walking distance) restaurants. The best, a Fridays, has closed.
The location was nice.... Too pricey for what you get. Don't expect to relax! More of a party hotel. Thought I was back in college but then I couldn't afford it.
The ocean view was awsome
Dirty chairs in the room, balcony door not weather tight, Breakfast room much too small
Very nice grounds right on the water. Pool, Jacuzzi and beach area were great. Shuttle provided to Duval which is a great value. Taxis would have been $40+. Nice restaurant and great staff
4 pm check in, tile in bathroom was very slippery resulting in a fall, no counter space in the bathroom.
Hotel is remodeled since last visit. Very pleased with looks and amenities. Staff was also very helpful.
The hotel bar was nice. The bartenders were friendly & quite helpful about any questions we had about Key West. The resort fee is too expensive. The shuttle does not run @ all times. A cab cost about $16 to get to Duval St. There were never enough towels in the room; however, when we called, housekeeping did bring more towels within 30 minutes. The room was much smaller than it looked from the pictures on the website. Next time I will also choose to stay closer to Old Town.
Shuttle into town, easy access to excursions at the service desk. Maintenance was quick to respond. Fairly quiet which was nice. Location not really beach front... Standing shower was very small. Had to drive about 2-2.5 miles to get anywhere to explore.
The convenience to the shuttle bus, mopeds, kayaks, jet ski were great! Room was colorful, seemed fairly clean. The location is far away from downtown Key West, so it was quiet. Loved the tortoise sanctuary in the unusable part of the back parking lot. Great use of property for a good cause. All the hard working outdoor staff were friendly and said good morning or Hi. poor wifi anywhere on the property. They need to bring that up to modern expectations and expand the width and reach to accommodate all the modern electronics that are being used., breakfast in stoned crab was less than what you would expect for a nicer restaurant (food was not fresh, poorly made, not much selection. No food service until 8 am, only coffee which is self serve.) Front desk staff was stand offish, very business like. No clock in the room or necessary outlets to accommodate current 2016 needs. Bathroom was very small, lots of old dirty caulking around the tub and floor. Bay view with hammock is not private, the next door quests are only two feet away. That was very misleading on the website. Maid never came to our room in the 3 days we were there. No one told us to get maid service we needed to hang the door tag on the outside of the door requesting the maid service. We had to go searching for ice, no ice machine. Ice is all the way to the bar, stand in line with the others waiting for food service.
Great staff, very helpful, quick wiht a smile. No problems whatsoever.
The pool My stay was just mediocre. The pool was nice, the breakfast was nice, except it was very dis-organized. The front desk staff was extremely rude. Our power went out. The housekeeping staff was polite and so was the maintenance man when he came in to fix our water which was not hot.
Shaded with palms everywhere.
Really enjoy my stay here
The leaf blowers outside my window at 8:00 am. Key West is a town where people like to sleep in when they are visiting, the landscaping guys running leaf blowers at such an early hour is not a good thing.
Basic room. Front desk concierge, Stephanie had an attitude that I reserved a room with an Amex when I don't even own one. I showed her the documents of the confirmation using my MasterCard. She continued to persist that I reserved it with an Amex and this is what happens if you book with a third party site.
The cabanas seemed to need a little upgraded. Starting to see some wear and tear.
The bed Expensive restaurant...$14.95 breakfast buffet with no other option unless you asked. "handicapped room" had no grab bar for getting out of the shower or beside the standard height toilet. Room needed sprucing up. Balcony door often stuck and was hard to open and also there was a three inch high ledge going out the door that was easy to trip over.
Very convenient to have 2 bedroom 2 bath suite for 2 families for the price of $277 per night. The pool is opened till 10pm which is perfect. It might be a little loud since the airport 5 min away. There is no place to have breakfast at the hotel.
The price was right for the area and our family. It could have been cleaner.
I love the breakfast and the staff was very helpful with my request to service the air conditioner.
The bed was comfortable and clean. The complimentary breakfast was very good and well stocked. The room was quite dark and the toilet didn't work. However, they did send someone immediately to fix it. The room had a musty smell. When the maid came (we were there for 2 days), she only left one washcloth and one handtowel for the two of us.
