When I arrived to pick up the car, I was told they didn’t actually have any cars. They flat out lied to my face and said my reservation didn’t have a phone number or email so they couldn’t contact me about it. (Obviously my reservation had this info, you can’t make one without it, and I recognize email confirmation of the rental). It took another hour and a half out of my day to travel to another location to get a car.

Hertz took a $200 deposit upon pickup, which wasn't specified when I rented the vehicle, and has not refunded it. bad tade policy and I will pursue the charges

One hour wait time to pick up vehicle - unable to use online check in as cars were extremely oversold. Was directed to an area with no available cars only to wait longer to get more assistance. We had to change our drop off due to Hurricane Milton and cancelled flights. I called customer service to advise and they said there would be no charge because we were being impacted by the hurricane. They charged. They doubled the agreed upon rate. DOUBLED. Liars. Predatory behavior.

the car was ok, but there was wear and tear damage that i did not want to be blamed for nor charged for, so there was extra time needed for check out. on return, there was no one greeting the cars and only after waiting for about 10 minutes did I see a sign saying one should note the mileage and fuel, but there was no quick/easy way to find the odometer setting on the car, and how would I note the mileage without a pen if I did find the setting?

I was very satisfied overall, we thought the pick up process could have/should have been quicker. Especially since we had done the online check in, we still had to wait in line for 30 minutes. The car seats that we rented were very low quality and the infant seat was missing an anchor strap that I had to improvise to install it safely in the car. The vehicle was clean and new, very nice. Drop off was very easy, just pulled up and parked walked away. I would recommend Thrifty and we’ll likely use them again.

Andre at the RSW was very friendly and nice. You could tell he likes his job. It was very nice seeing a friendly face after a long day of traveling!

I was told the car would have third row seating. It did not. Some of us had to ride in the back cargo area at times.
