Location to cruise terminal. $ 43.00 a night to park your car. Ridiculously expensive.
Best hotel I have ever stayed at. It was amazing the restaurant Toro Toro was awesome. Everyone was so nice and on the 18th floor we had such a great view of the city!
Clean, Convieniently Located Nice accommodations and comfy bed!
Staff Room Location
Restautant, room comfort, service
The friendly staff. Amber who checked me in gave me a higher floor so that I could enjoy the view of the city. The view was amazing.
good location near cruise ship terminal. full beds are quite small. Queens would be better. Expensive parking. Just "OK" restaurant.
Nice modern clean facility. Great rooms. Hour long wait in the business center just to collect a package.
My room was ready when I arrived.
Great Location overlooking the intercoastal and so convenient to American Airlines Arena. The Hotel is beautiful and the staff is friendly and very helpful. Breakfast buffet was excellent. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Miami. There was nothing that we didn't like!
The wifi didn't seem to work, luckily I was close enough to the lobby to use that.
The rooms are amazing, well appointed, loved the bed! Service is top notch too Long wait for the valet, call early!
Luxurious accommodations, incredible views. Room service was very good. Valet parking always seems to be the weak link at many hotels. Nothing horrific, just not up to the standard represented at this property.
We stayed three nights for our anniversary and we had an amazing time. The rooms are very modern and clean with super views over the bay amd the city. The staff was very friendly wherever you run into them. Walking distance to lots of activities (boat rides, jer skis, American Airlines arena, restaurants, etc..) highly recommended!!!
The hotel is very well appointed: from the lobby to common areas and, most notable the rooms. Everything is clean, crisp and well conceived and executed.
The facilities were all wonderful. The views spectacular. The pool area and gym are outstanding. Parking is way too expensive. I had a problem with the television set in the bathroom, the remote simply would not work. I asked for help on this three times and each time they could send someone to turn it on but they could never tell me how to turn it on.
Rooms are spacious and beautifully done--esp. the bathroom. Huge TV. I like the location for downtown - great for walking. Lobby sparce, chaotic and unwelcoming. Valet was told it would be 20 min., but it was not that long. Event was happening , so lots of arrivals and tight spot to get a lot of cars coming and going.
as soon as I arrive with a reservation, they told me that they were full and I didn't have a room in that hotel so they change me to another Marriott
Great hotel, nice rooms and helpful staff. Valet parking too expensive.
I loved everything about it, great service, nice people, the room was nice and perfect, and it had a perfect view, it was great and if I ever go back to miami, I would know where to go and stay.
Hotel facilities seemed good but couldn't use many of them. Pool overrun by near-naked chemically stimulated revelers. Incredibly noisy till small hours of morning. Phones in room didn't work.
rooms restrant on site zuma is amazing in the heart of downtown 39 dollars a night valet and no adult pool also pull was a bit small for the size of the hotel. during spa the zen room you could hear the music blasting through the wall
Fantastic views, great location, comfortable beds. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Clean, nice room Our shower, nor our phones, did not work. Fortunately, we were only staying for a single night, which made the problem not a big deal. Also, pools were not heated. They have two BEAUTIFUL pools, but no one dared to be in them at all because they were absolutely freezing. A shame, really.
Location and staff Dirty, loudy, parking, people hosted.
Outstanding service Exceptional experience We have stayed at Epic many times, but this was the first time bringing the kids. The kids had a wonderful time. As a family we cannot wait to come back!! each stay at Epic has been an exceptional experience, which is why it's our hotel of choice when visiting Miami.
Fun lively noisy location in downtown Miami We were not given the room we ordered but they did try to make up for the error.
Loved the location, restaurant and bars I wish they had coffee available for longer in the am, start earlier and end later, I missed it every day, either I was leaving to early or too late
Room quality, location, pool, gym, breakfast area, Lobby, In-Room dining experience was terrific. Bed linens were not soft, very rough and low quality. Pillows much to big and thick, no choices for pillows. Took one hour and three calls to get extra towels.
The views were pretty nice. The room was comfortable, except for the constant racket of music, construction and traffic, not to mention the binging from the elevator Super noisy. Disorganized. Staff not very helpful Somewhat snobby clientele.
No good signal tv, I can not go to pool for private pool party.
This hotel is the go-to for my wife and I whenever we're in Miami. The staff is fantastic and the rooms are beautiful! Very close to incredible restaurants and bars too! Nada
The staff went over and beyond to help make our stay comfortable-including an early check in and later check out to accommodate our flights. Well done! Rooms are nice size and had great views of the harbor and city lights. Would definitely come back again! Price for parking is steep.
Best bathroom ever. Fun electronics in room. Great breakfast.
loved it everything buttttt the 24 hour menu was horrible not enough selections for the price i paid. need to offer complimentary breakfast.
Clean hotel. Clean updated room They could not find my reservation I booked through Kayak. No record of it in their computer. This caused a delay in access to my room. At times the lobby was a bit noisy with loud music
great location small bathroom loud air conditioner
Location! The room and the bathroom was way too small, the window was above our sight so couldn't see anything outside. I would not suggest anyone stay there. I did not enjoy my stay at all.
Bar staff really stepped up to meet our needs whether or not requests applied to them
Location Very noisy. Walls are paper thin. Elevators are extremely slow and small Would not stay there again !
When arriving we were told we didnt have a room that we had lready reserved. They then contacted another hotel and moved us there. When arriving at the next hotel we were told they didnt have the room that YVE said they had for us. The desk at YVE assured us the hotel we were moved to had a room with 2 double bed waiting. Come to find out that was a lie. We had to give our teenage kids roll away bed and crowd the room. All around a mess and inconvienience we did not need at 9:30 pm. I will never attempt to stay at YVE again, even if it was free!! They suck.
"Rooms were nice Food and service in the bar were excellent Parking situation was inconvenient and expensive. The elevator situation is a disaster
Very close to Metro (People Mover) for Little Havana. Happy hour in the hotel lobby bar includes one complimentary alcoholic beverage. Concierge was very helpful as was the staff, and very friendly. Shuttle services are available to take you to the port/ships and can be scheduled according to your needs. Rates vary depending upon how many people are scheduled to shuttle at that time, but reasonable (for 2people - $6 each). Close to 7-11, grocery stores, downtown Miami and restaurants. Would definitely stay again.
Rejoicing with GRATITUDE for superb access to the Arena, Port, and Beach!
Revamped lobby since 2015. The restaurant/bar is great. Free cofffe in mornings and cocktail in evening. Room is clean. It's small but works fine for 1 or 2 travelers. Good access to downtown and easy to get to south beach. Staff this time was much more welcoming than 1 year ago. No complaints. I wouldn't say it's romantic or water front. May not be a great place for beach goers (small room and bathroom) I could imagine sand getting everywhere. Bathrooms are small and not sure fan works.
Room was clean, staff were nice and professional Bathroom size was small almost like a cruise ship of airplane
When I got to hotel they had no reservation for me. I had my confirmation number and voucher to show I had paid for room and they had no record of it. They were full and initial said they could not find a room . This was very distressing because after a long day of work and travel I needed to get to into my room to prepare for an extremely important interview scheduled for early next morning . I am a young single woman and had never been to Miami so was unsure of where to go not knowing the area. After a stressful hour or more of waiting finally got the last room in hotel. The hotel staff were friendly but it was an extremely stressful situation. The interview following morning was most important for my future.
How courteous the doormen and front desk employees were, great shower. Nice comfy bed. Apparently requesting a second bucket of ice is an unreasonable request. Not according to the front desk but to whoever tells the person that actually comes to your door. This was off putting to say the least.
The Langford is absolutely beautiful and I loved its character! They managed to maintain a lot of its unique architecture with modern touches. The downtown location was convenient for all of the things we wanted to do. I didn't like the breakfast situation. When I booked online, it said out breakfast would be included, however, when we went upstairs the first morning we were immediately accosted about our breakfast coupons and then told we could only have the pastries, coffee, and orange juice, since we didn't have the coupons. I'm 6 months pregnant and had my 1 year old daughter with us, so this was very frustrating. But there were several options within walking distance. Also, we wanted to use the sky lobby while we were there, but there was some kind of model casting going on all day both days we were there so it was packed.
Nice big room, very clean, staff was very nice! Loved the Pawnbroker rooftop bar/restaurant....great atmosphere! Close to Bayfront Park area and Brickell Avenue and Marlins Park. No ice machine on floor and had to get ice from room service. The regular restaurant was closed for renovations. They charged a hotel fee for their continental breakfast even if you didn't eat breakfast.
There was nothing open including room service and there was a dead cockroach in our room.
The staff was incredibly friendly and accomodating. The rooms were smaller, but clean and chicly decorated. PB station had delicious food and the rooftop bar was fun!
The location is terrible nothing to do around there. Customer service is terrible very rude staff especially in the restaurant. Will never stay there again.
staff Way too much traffic and construction Evidently i also had no flexibility as i booked through an online service that was non refundable but i was not told...so that soured me on the while trip
Walking distance to everything Downtown. Great location!!
Shopping center with restaurants in close proximity of the hotel. The staff was very accommodating with our early arrival. Did not communicate the distance from the port of Miami.
Front desk staff were all very helpful and friendly. Location is great for a stay before or after a cruise. Shops and restaurants within walking distance.
Location to go ahead to port of Miami Only problem, my credit card, machine couldn't read, woman would not punch number in manually.
Upon our arrival and we stayed an extra day , there is a parking fee of $33 bucks a day plus a $2.00 valet fee . I paid 40% of a one day stay for my car . However ... I recommend the restaurant in lobby .. Very good and ask for Beatrice to wait on you . She was fantastic !!!! Parking fees and forced valet feed
Good location. Beds was super comfortable. The AC, it was freezing outside and inside the room the AC was on and it was even cooler than outside!
Very friendly n helpful staff Old. Need update
The beds were not comfortable. Pillows were too soft I tossed and turn all night. woke up every 2 hours. not good . for the money
We were able to check in at 6am The restaurant night crew has terrible customer service. They play obvious favorites with the customers too. This nearly ruined the whole experience.
This is a great hotel in a great location. We stayed here for 1 night before our cruise. The hotel is right across the street from bayside marketplace. We walked over for dinner and a little shopping. The hotel is very close to the cruise port and we were able to see the ships the next morning from the hotel window. The wifi is weak, but it was free. I thought breakfast was included, but it wasn't, so we walked over to bayside again to eat.
The bed was clean. Fairly run down lobby, hallway and rooms. The bare minimum for a place to sleep.
There was nothing to like about this place Everything about this place was not likeable.
The only thing I liked was the location. I had low expectations about this hotel but it was worst than expected. The newest thing on my room was the TV. The mattress was a disaster. Overall the room was fairly clean but unattractive. In my case, I only needed an overnight for business, it works only for that considering the price.
The price is amazing for the location, but it is a BARE BONES hotel. I only needed a place for my crew to stay for a job in South Beach the next day, so it was sufficient. But you get what you pay for and it was CHEAP. A. Nothing left in the room got stolen B. No one got mugged outside C. The shower was relatively hot D. I'll stay there again for work only E. Outdoor cafe next door is fantastic. (Manolo y There are homeless people everywhere outside. Their "continental breakfast" is literally the bread and cake you see in the pictures. It is the worst I've EVER seen. Room is claustrophobic. It wasn't very clean.
It was an old and nasty hotel in need of a total renovation. It should be illegal to sell a place like that with bathroom as grimy and moldy like that
Location and price we found a large bug in the room, but its wsnt serious. small tv with 3 channels. basically this is just a place to stay for cheap in miami. only go here if you arent planning on being in the hotel very much.
There was a very warm and kind taxi driver who a staff recommended who took us to airport on time. There was false advertisement about airport shuttle. Shuttle does not pick up at airport and shuttle leaves twice daily ONLY to drop off at airport. The times are roughly 9am and 2pm... If I remember correctly but I know it's only twice daily. If we had known the truth we would have stayed closer to the airport Bcus we ended up spending the same it would cost if we had stayed at a closer airport hotel due to transportation cost. Only reason we chose Leamington is Bcus its website said it offers airport shuttle. One has to call ahead to confirm these hotels really offer airport shuttle. The hotel looks far better on the outside, the bathrooms and very old and far from suitable. Very disappointed in Leamington.
it is very well located, even though facilities are old but the place is great located in downtown area.
Unfriendly staff, no wifi in room, wifi in lobby terrible, dirty rooms, old and damaged furniture and decorations, and no hot water.
I chose this hotel because it was close to the free metromover. The doors did not seem secure at all. The sheets were stained. There was no blanket on the bed. The matresses were TERRIBLE. It was loud. The 1-2 block area was teaming with homeless people. It was SUCH a bad neighborhood. One bare lightbulb in the bathroom. One small traditional tv high in the corner of the room.
wifi didn't work
Affordable. Staff was very polite. Location close to downtown. Rooms kind of old but are kept clean. Pretty good if you are not going to be in the room much and don't want to spend a ton of money in a luxury hotel. We just basically went to sleep and shower and enjoyed the city. Needs new carpets and fixtures. No free parking. Breakfast is limited to coffee and some bread. Not good if you are going to stay in the room all day long, which honestly, with all that Miami has to offer, why to do that.
Close to many shops
The Miami Sun Hotel was great for the price. Located near so many sights and attractions. No frills and cozy. The staff was amazing, friendly and accommodating. i would most certainly stay here again.
I like the fact that it is cheap. Of course I got what it takes to be in a cheap hotel It was good for the price, but it is a very very very old hotel. Let's keep it like that.
It is a horribe hotel! Smells, pristitutes, homeless and junkies! everything!
The hotel was near free transportation. I was put off by the homeless people that they let sleep in the lobby on a routine basis. Very questionable people seemed to come and go upstairs. I got three very nasty insect bites on my arms while sleeping. There was no parking.
The staff was very friendly and helpful The room was not clean at all, grime in the shower and a used wash cloth was over the curtain rod. There was a roach trap under the sink, air-condition was never cold.
Location Smell like wet, found roaches in the room lots of noises at night, Ac didn't work properly
Location was good Smelled rusty, small room with little ac, bathroom and TV (15 inch)in room.
The property is in a great spot if you are on an overnight before a cruise.
The price was right. The facility showed signs of recent renovation and care. The staff was helpful and friendly. It was clean. Little noisy at night - the tile floors didn't help. Our bed squeeked and we moved. Still, for the price, I would do it again, because it was not run down and was clean.
Cheap and conveniently located. There is not parking. I paid for parking on this place next to the hotel and they stole my money since two different persons charged me for the same service and they got upsed so I had no choice.
This is exactly what I wanted in terms of money. It was "almost" free - and for somebody who really wants to save money - this is a prefect opportunity!!! I am currently unemployed, and I had to spend a day in Miami. I can't afford anything...I Was confident I'd never find a hotel under 100 dollars for one person. However, this one was 50.00 dollars and for two people, which is roughly 25 dollars per person - right in the middle of business district!!! Hey, the most important thing that we all need - privacy - it was there. In addition, although the place looked very poor, the staff was friendly and helpful. It didn't feel very clean, although there wasn't any garbage on the floor. I guess, the walls and floor are just old. But it's not a big deal to me. Roaches are part of nature, but my culture taught me to feel disgusted at their sight. So, that was a little disgust. a few roaches, no toothpaste, and a little tiny shower - is the only discomfort, which is very tolerable for just $25 per person.
