Pick up took too long. For being non-airport, we waiting forever to get into the car. Check it was easy but took over 20 mins for the car to come out. The car was in decent condition but the tires were very bad. They were almost bald on the inside of the front tires. Could be dangerous as we did quite a bit of highway driving. The dash had not been dusted. Overall we loved the car and drop off was easy. Good value.

My issue is with the car selection through Kayak or Expedia, I believe I started on Expedia and was somehow led to Kayak. In large text it stated intermediate size but in small text it said several other things including "electric." It wasn't brought to my attention until Avis tried giving me an electric car. There's no way I would've intentionally requested that!! The man who helped me was great but all they had was a large pick-up truck. It worked out but be aware of the small print. The man at Avis was excellent! Very fast, efficient and knowledgeable!!!

Dirty car inside, like totally dirty and mark no damages, but there was damages and it was hard to c them at night what was the pick up. I was lucky to find the damages on a rental parking lot and make the photos, otherwise they would ask me to pay for them. The request of 2 credit cards as guaranteed was shock, they said we need two of your credit cards as it a luxury car. Lucky me I have 2

Supplier choice

KAYAK
The supplier choice is apparently an EV even though I didn’t select the EV option. They require you to bring the car back charged. For a one day rental to the airport, that is not realistic. I was also charged for gas, which I had stopped near the airport and filled up. I eventually got a credit but the whole thing was a hassle and didn’t leave me feeling good about renting from Budget in the future.

Pick up process was ridiculous. I'm not exaggerating--standing outside (not in any type of building or cover) for 56 minutes while they tried to figure out rentals for myself and 7 other customers. Ended up just giving me a size up, was not cleaned well, didn't have record of what fuel level was at, and staff spoke all of 3 words to me. I saw the poor reviews at this location and figured, how bad can it be? Yes I got my vehicle and it worked fine, but the entire pick up and drop off experience was horrible and I do not plan to rent from this brand at this airport again.

I had a one way rental from Naples Florida to Charleston South Carolina. On both ends it was seamless. Both pick up and drop off were painless. We had two issues. First was the pick up of the car at the Naples Airport. There was no one at the counter for 45 minutes after our scheduled pick up time. There was a line of people five people deep that have been waiting for an hour. No one in the building seem to know if there was an Alamo person available to get us our cars that day. When the gentleman who was the manager did show up he said he’d had to deliver A. Car to someone. So clearly, there is a staffing problem. The manager himself was just fine, but we had to pick someone up at the airport at a certain time and missed that time. The second issue we had was we rented a minivan because we needed to transport six people. We were told we could have a jeep instead that only held for people. Thank goodness I went out to the lot to look at it before we agreed. So then we had to wait another 30 minutes for a minivan to get washed. It really shouldn’t take two hours to pick up a rental car at the Small local airport. We were very disappointed and we use another Car Rental company next time

It was a 1 man staff and he was busy but he was fine. We changed the return date and that was handled very easily.

He was all by himself so we had to wait a little while but he did all he could to get it done .

Pros:

The staff was confusing, rude, added extra charges to rental, had to drive back to naples to figure out why because the local office wouldn't answer the phone and the national office has no customer service on weekends. Chevy spark was not a great car, but was economy priced. Beyond that, the brakes were a little weird
