Pros: Everything, the house was fantastic, the housekeeper was lovely, the owner was great, the breakfast was everything you could wish for. The only problems was we didn't stay longer. Perhaps another time. Thank Delano Homestead you did a great job.
Pros: Paul and Janessa are excellent hosts! Grateful to have such a beautiful place to stop the night before catching my early morning ferry. There are also two great restaurants within walking distance of this beautiful home.
Pros: The property was very comfortable and steeped with history. The owner couldn't have been more accommodating.
Pros: Paul, the owner and Jamie our hostess were a terrific team ! We enjoyed our stay and will go back. The breakfast spread was fabulous !
Pros: Beautiful home in a part of New England often missed
Pros: We were in town for a family wedding and Paul was very friendly and accommodating. The Delano is a beautiful , historic home in a charming, seaside village.
Pros: Great house, very comfortable and cozy. Paul (owner) was very welcoming, chatty, and friendly and so was Ally, his assistant. The bed was very comfortable and the on-suite bathroom in our bedroom was perfect. Breakfast was a huge spread of items from pastries, yogurt, granola and a variety of cereals to hard boiled eggs and cheese, more than we expected! We truly felt at home and enjoyed our time in the B&B. We hope to return some day in the summer!
Pros: The house is lovely. The rooms are very nicely furnished with comfortable beds and drawers and a closet for clothing. The room was very quiet. Breakfast was good and plentiful with lots of fresh fruit. Paul, the host, is very friendly and helpful. I liked the location a lot. I could walk to downtown New Bedford in twenty minutes.
Pros: A house with history, carefully furnished and tastefully decorated for the period. Attentive staff (Janessa). Freedom to use the kitchen. Comfortable bed, after climbing on to it !
Cons: Loved the breakfast, all items laid out in the kitchen. Perhaps could have been arranged in a more user friendly way. Not a problem really.
Pros: Definitely worth a weekend stay or stop over on the way
Pros: Boutique hotel with a lot of history in a very quiet neighborhood. Paul the owner was extremely kind and helpful.

Pros: A very good selection of foods for breakfast. A little difficult to locate hotel in the back of shopping strip.
Cons: I've stayed there before and the suite was 2 separate walled rooms with 2 TV's. The remodel took the wall down and now only 1 TV. Also there are NO luggage racks anymore. Had to put luggage on chairs and other furniture and floor. Not good for your back.
Pros: The staff were very friendly.
Cons: The room was not worth the money I was charged. The 'whirlpool' bath which made the room cost $100 more per day was broken and dirty, the pool was out of order and the fitness center was so small it can only fit one person. There was an outside patio but it was bolted closed. I am very disappointed with the inaccurate description of this hotel. I will follow procedures to get a refund for the amenities that were not available. (bath, pool)
Cons: I see 3 charges on my credit card pending. One for $250.00, one for $226.75, which is the right price, and one for 0. This doesn't usually happen. I'm hoping the $250 goes away.
Pros: Spacious room
Pros: All staff was excellent. The weekday breakfast staff was amazingly kind and helpful.
Pros: Very clean rooms and Facilities. Only Bad thing was no toothbrush and paste in the room but apparently this is a standard thing now with hotels...I have stayed at this hotel before and again it exceeded my expectations....will not stay anywhere else when I come to this area to visit family..I recommend here to others as well
Cons: just the toothbrush and toothpaste thing mentioned before. But as I said...apparently this is standard now...I bought a toothbrush for $2 in the hotel shop and my cousin had toothpaste would not a big deal
Pros: The location, the kitchenette, the continental breakfast.
Pros: Large room with living area and full kitchen. Dinner at nite for free plus free breakfast. Gas grill if you want to cook out. Free cookies and apples. We stayed a second time having to travel an hour out of the way to get there. Excellent room
Pros: nice staff. breakfast was good and ready on time.
Cons: bed was smaller than usual. Typically would expect a queen minimum in a single bedroom but the bed appeared to be a full.
Pros: The entire hotel experience is always top notch here!
Pros: Staff and location. Also beds really comfortable.
Cons: The bathroom was not up to its usual standard of clean.
Pros: I loved everything about this location. It was quiet and well kept. The breakfast was great and the staff were friendly.

Pros: Everything was perfect. Location was 3blocks from what we came there for(fishing). I love this hotel, friendly staff, clean,I would highly recommend to my friends
Cons: There's nothing I could say could be better because every thing worked for me and I travel a lot
Cons: Very limited options for breakfast
Pros: Great breakfasts. Friendly staff. Location convenient to Southcoast cancer center. Clean, comfortable
Cons: Very satisfied, can’t complain about anything. .
Pros: The room was clean and comfortable and there was an excellent choice of food at breakfast. The Receptionist was helpful giving us a list of local restaurants.
Pros: The breakfast was good; not many options, the rooms were clean.
Cons: The pool was small, not heated and needed to be cleaned along with the pool area
Pros: Service people were great, room was spacious, inviting, had office nook. What wasn't list was the room had a microwave and refrigerator.
Cons: The breakfast that was available did not include dairy alternative milks, this is first place that didn't carry a soy, almond, or other milk for people who have dairy allergies. The elevator broke and we had to use stairs to the floor we were staying on.
Pros: The management and the staff are always ready to fix any problems. Very professional!
Pros: Perfect location for our needs. Somewhat away from "the maddening crowds."
Pros: Was very pleasant stay
Pros: We were greeted by a very friendly, informative man. The staff was great. Our room was wonderful and the breakfast was amazing.

Pros: Breakfast was included & was good. We liked the location & the use of a guest laundry was a bonus. Check in was friendly
Cons: Lighting in the room was poor. The complimentary toiletries were nearly empty & had obviously been pre used. The hair dryer had a broken grill & did not look safe to use.
Pros: Beds and room were comfortable and clean
Cons: Hot tub was not working. Pool was so crowded and not supervised. Breakfast area was not well maintained and messy.
Pros: The breakfast was one of the best I've run across and the woman keeping it stocked up it was awesome. Property location was great too. Very busy and for good reason.
Pros: Check in was fast.,Our room was immaculate. The hotel was busy but it was quiet at night.
Pros: Good variety at breakfast buffet. Extremely nice front desk staff.
Cons: The room smelled like smoke. There was hair on The floor in the bathroom and in the shower. There were cigarette butts and food in the hallway and the hot tub was broken. The breakfast bar was horrible unless it was prepackaged.
Pros: The room was very clean.
Cons: The hot tub, was broken and the pool cold. Breakfast was ok, but the trash was overfowing on the floor, and breakfast area was a mess
Pros: Very good breakfast choices.
Pros: Perfect location, free parking, comfortable beds
Pros: I loved the view of the harbor! The bed was very comfortable. Room was cozy.
Cons: The eggs at breakfast were not real....this was upsetting. Real eggs are inexpensive and better tasting. Please use real eggs because imitation is not appetizing and take away from the rest of the meal. Also maybe consider starting breakfast an hour earlier. We had to leave very early in order to make our destination at a reasonable time and there wasn't any breakfast. Just a suggestion for us early starters.
Pros: Noise in the h0tel kept me up at night. HS students screaming and practicing some sort of hs play or something.
Pros: All very relaxing
Cons: Nothing at all
Seaport Inn & Marina is a waterfront hotel located on the beautiful New Bedford Harbor. Every member of our team strives to create a culture of service to offer you a memorable experience worthy of the area you're visiting! Our friendly and knowledgeable Guest Services agents are available at the front desk 24/7 to answer any questions, make tourism recommendations, or assist in any way possible to ensure your stay with us is the best it can be!
Cons: Seaport Inn was not what I expected. No water view from our room, not really handicap convenient, a bit of a walk from the parking for someone with disability. Room said queen but I'm pretty sure it was just a full sz bed. It met the need for one might but not a place I would ho again and it seemed overpriced for what it was.
Pros: beautiful room and delicious breakfast.
Pros: Clean and comfortable room. Expensive for what it is but the area is just somewhat unreasonable this time of year. Big hotel with a lot of rooms. A bit dated. Good continental breakfast spread.
Cons: Lots of walking to and from the room and the lobby.
Pros: Great breakfast with lots of choices. Good coffee, too! I liked that there were healthy choices (yogurt, fresh fruit, cereal). Bed was comfy and room was very nice and clean. Fabulous pool! Hotel is in a good location as well. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: We had requested a first floor room as there is no elevator in the building and my husband has a little trouble with stairs. However, we weren't aware that the first floor is where people with pets stay. We had a neighbor across the hall with a howling dog, so we asked for a room on another floor. The hotel staff accommodated us. However, it might be a good idea to let customers know ahead of time they might be sharing the floor with pets.
Pros: Appreciated assistance with our luggage by a young man. Girls on front desk were very helpful when we lost a phone ......
Cons: Would have appreciated as escalator as our bags are large. Motor bikes in the middle of the night were disturbing.
Pros: Excellent staff, breakfast, and comfortable room and beds. Pool is nice.
Cons: Friday night is noisy because of the outside restaurant/bar. To get to lobby and breakfast area you need to walk through 1st floor that has smoking rooms. Corridor smells like smoke. This should be moved to 2nd floor so only smokers walk there.
Pros: Rooms were comfy and clean . Staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: There’s live music on Saturday nights and we couldn’t fall asleep till the band stopped . Which your not told about
Pros: The room was nice, the place was right on the water.
Cons: Nice staff, great breakfast, beautiful facilities
Pros: Room was well appointed. Breakfast selection was wonderful.
Pros: The breakfast was fine.
Cons: The bathroom floor in the room was dirty. The room was old fashioned and outdated.
Cons: The hallway and the room smelled , it was pretty dirty in the room and the bed felt like you were sleeping on a old trampoline. The whole experience was pretty horrible we left a night early because the place just didn't feel comfortable .

Pros: Front desk staff very friendly. Liked the room.
Cons: Our key would not open the door to our room. One night had to go back twice. Next night, same thing... key would not open room door. Annoying!
Pros: Very good breakfast. Convenient location for the New Bedford Folk Festival. We've stayed here twice before. The decor is nice. Brian at the front desk and handling a range of other chores was very pleasant.
Cons: Two issues: I found the bed really hard. And, it's summer, but the bed has only a winter duvet. It was way too heavy for me, even with the AC up reasonably high, but there were no lighter alternatives available. So between the hard bed and the overly warm covers, I didn't sleep very well, even though the place is quiet. Maybe it's me, but this is my honest reaction.
Pros: The entry to room is indoors
Cons: Paper thin walls, scary loud neighbors, did not provide room i requested for light sleeper. Went to sleep at 330am bcuz of noise
Cons: some small things need to fix. Also hot water is not enough, either no more or not hot.
Pros: Staff was very friendly and helpful
Pros: Much better than expected. We stayed 4 nights and had a fine time. The free breakfast was wonderful. The coffee and water were fresh all day. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Rooms feel a bit dated, but is all kept so very clean. I would stay again.
Cons: Could use a face lift.
Pros: The breakfast was decent.
Cons: As we walked down to tour room, the first thing we noticed was the dirty carpet. Then we heard the maid on her cell phone dropping obscenities in every sentence. Upon entering the room, we found trash in the bathroom. A few minutes later, the TV turned on in the room next-door, and we could hear every word. There appeared to be next to no insulation in the walls or ceiling.
Pros: Although the motel was in need of major work the staff was very helpful and we ending up having a decent nights sleep.
Cons: The first room smelled, The second room had not been vacuumed and the window would not close
Pros: The staff was excellent. The complimentary breakfast was fabulous. Much more than we expected. The location was perfect to explore the area. Room was very nice and clean.
Cons: Everything was good.
Pros: Nice staff
Cons: Other guests next door were very loud. Despite complaints they kept being loud.
Pros: Room was fine except for tv: remote didn’t work.
Cons: Tv remote didn’t work. Breakfast started too late.
With a stay at Regency Inn & Suites, you'll be centrally located in North Dartmouth, within a 5-minute drive of Buttonwood Park Zoo and New Bedford Museum of Glass. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Staff was accommodating, however cleaning staff did poor job.
Cons: Cleaning staff
Pros: Expect better customer service.
Pros: Air conditioning worked well
Cons: Room was damp & musty smelling until AC was run for several hours, sheets were pretty threadbare
Cons: All the plugs and switches were falling out of the wall. The continental breakfast was sparse. I got there at 8:30 there was hardly anything left.
Pros: Location, lobby was nice.
Cons: The bedding
Pros: Quiet, pretty clean
Cons: Old needs updating
Cons: Service, bed bug issues found and rude and unprofessional staff.
Pros: It was clean
Cons: Rude and unpleasant staff. Very intrusive and the hotel was bare bones.
Pros: Great stay except AC didn’t work.
Cons: AC didn’t work.
Cons: The manager was ignorant
Pros: Relatively clean, great location
Cons: Needs renovation; poor breakfast, bad soundproof, you can hear every move people on second floor (our room was on first floor). Very bad uncomfortable pillows. Broken iron board
Pros: It was a fine room right off the highway.
Cons: It was way overpriced. The hotel should be around $-- per night, and it was double that. You're not sure when you pull into the parking lot how clean it will be, or what kind of people you will run into, which usually isn't the case at this price poin
With a stay at Dartmouth Motor Inn in North Dartmouth, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Buttonwood Park Zoo and Rotch Jones-Duff House and Garden Museum. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Comfortable, convenient location in Dartmouth
Cons: The sheets were dirty. The room smelt bad
Pros: They were understanding that I was staying alone with 3 small children and gave a room off to the side of the motel where we could go back and forth to the car and bother no one.
Pros: Bed was comfy, large room
Cons: Asked for two extra towels in the reservation process, did not get them, no cleaning service, or exchange of towels on the second morning, came back to the room after a long day to find the room exactly how we left it., And satellite TV does not work, the staff was unaffected by any of our concerns. Floor was not clean in bedroom or bathroom.
Pros: I liked it did not have rugs in the room for sure the set up of the room was very nice. Office staff was very friendly and helpful as was the staff member sent to answer a question for us very friendly.
Cons: There was urine in the toilet when we went to use the toilet. The property is old but you can see the strong effort they have made to improve it totally, still basically clean and welcoming but not sure why they do not have hairdryer in the room you can get it from the front desk, so if they feel people take things does that mean we were in an unsafe location? Still it did meet what we needed for the night and hoping they still continue to improve the property. Parking wasn't easy as not enough close to where ones room is, noise carries as the room above us seemed to have "elephants" walking all night, lol. Not enough pillows for the size bed and the bed was uncomfortable.
Pros: Really nice place, simple and good.
Pros: Walmart very close. Very nice staff.
Cons: Room smelled like smoking room. Lousy wifi.
Pros: Checking in so late staff was super friendly, talkative and helpful. recommend an amazing dinner for breakfast the next morning.
Pros: Comfortable bed Odd odor in room Shower - water came our sideways Toilet did not work upon arrival
Cons: Better bathrooms
Pros: The staff was polite and helpful. The hotel is located very close to shopping centers and to restaurants which made it very easy to sight see.
Cons: The property itself needs to be updated .. Our first room needed a lot of work. The DirecTV in the room did not work and the room had a musty smell and door didn't lock properly. Our 2nd room was nicer but the bathroom floor tile needed to be fixed, there was no Kleenex's, the original roll of TP had only a few sheets left on it and they only supplied 1 full roll of TP. The keylock pad broke and had to totally be replaced. It seems that they were having a lot issues with the electronic door locks and also with their DirecTV system. Their WiFi kept going up & down which makes it hard to go online and do business.
Pros: For the price a decent place.
Cons: Somewhat noisy. Occupants in other rooms woke me up. Not many people at the motel. I would suggest to make it more quiet they space occupied rooms further apart.
Pros: AC was very cool
Cons: Tv was intermittent
With a stay at Whaler Inn and Suites in New Bedford, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Buttonwood Park Zoo and St. Anthony of Padua Church. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and a 24-hour front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: It was gross
Pros: Not much
Cons: Fire alarm went off in the middle of the night, desk person was very non chalant and when asked what was going on he said he didn’t know and said he called the fire department. Never bothered to give any kind of answer. My son is special needs and clearly was upset He didn’t have key to restaurant when FD came when they wanted to check kitchen for possible cause. Clerk didn’t bother to ask anyone if they were ok or needed anything. Breakfast in morning was horrid. Nothing barely on buffet in area. Donuts were HARD! Very disappointed!!
Cons: While checking in we were told we had to put down a $100 deposit-if we paid cash we would get it back the next day, if credit card it will take 5-7 business days! I didn’t have $100 cash with me so fingers crossed I get it back. We were in the room for about 15 minutes when the air conditioner began making a huge racket and started spitting out big chunks of dirty ice on to the bed. This went in for about 5 minutes!
Pros: The staff was so nice. Too bad the property is terrible!
Cons: Dirty rooms, pitiful breakfast, paper thin walls with people fighting the in wee hours of the morning.
Pros: Poor breakfast
Cons: Changed rooms 3 times. First bugs 2nd time a/c stopped working all doors stuck. No bath exhaust. Not warned about pool under construction
Pros: Check in
Cons: Breakfast a disgrace Massive revamp needed
Cons: Room was not cleaned. Put in another room not king bed not smoking as requested. Put in another room only to be awakened at 2 in the morning to water leaking from cieling
Pros: The room was awful. Stand alone air conditioner in the room blowing right in the bed and could not been move. No ironing board however there was an iron. Bath towels they supplied would be rags in my home. No window in room, but a door with glass...open to an indoor area. It was fairly clean, but an awful room.
Cons: Sorry see above...there was nothing I liked
Cons: It was very basic for the price.
Pros: No eggs. Bed like a rock. A/c worked & it was 86 deg.No shower caps & I forgot mine. Bathroom unsafe for elders
Cons: Better breakfast.
Pros: Staff was friendly and we could see fireworks from parking lot.
Cons: The room had a weird musty smell kinda gross. Everything the room and lobby extra looked old and worn. Also we got a two bedroom and it was really one big bedroom split into two parts. For 299 it was not worth it.

Pros: The hot tub which was also filled with bugs.
Pros: Stayed in a regular room from July 2- July 4 ($105) and the first room we got which was 144, the AC didn't work too well so the room was so hot, we asked for a room change and got 131, which was pretty decent. Then from July 4- July 5 ($75) my boyfriend and I upgraded to the hot tub rooms, 108, and the first room we got, there was hair left in the hot tub and guess what, we found 2 bed bugs and we were not about that. It was 2 am and we were so frustrated and asked for a room change, 115, and that one ended up alright, and of course we checked for bed bugs carefully. The trash was not taken out, and there was an opened soap bar, meaning someone was in the room before. From all these room changes, we realized that the rooms were not consistent, the bed bug situation was terrible, ACs were bad as well. Overall experience, eh. You really get what you pay for here
Cons: Stayed in a regular room from July 2- July 4 ($105) and the first room we got which was 144, the AC didn't work too well so the room was so hot, we asked for a room change and got 131, which was pretty decent. From all these room changes, we realized that the rooms were not consistent, the bed bug situation was terrible, ACs were bad as well. Overall experience, eh. You really get what you pay for here
Cons: We didn't even make it into out room, we cancelled our reservations before entering the room. People were smoking weed in the parking lot. A toothless woman wanted to eat my girlfriends face and the cops were there for a domestic disturbance. Let's just say you should never stay here. Unless you're a crazy person and want to get stolen for sexy trade.
Cons: Cock roaches, Dusty, Dirty and nasty stains on walls and floor...
Pros: The room had a little kitchen area very comfortable I would stay here again. Very no frills but it was very cheap.
Cons: Staff not English speaking, cleaning staff extremely rude and a bit scary. Owners do not shovel walk ways making guest trudge through deep snow.
