Cost was 85% of better equipped hotels but they were all booked. So glad to find a bed near Tarrytown NY. Was adequate and safe. Poor soundproofing. Heard adjoining room guest snoring. Little space in small bedroom. Breakfast substandard. Waterry oatmeal. Room temperature orange juice. Coffee OK.
location. there was a one inch gap between the floor and the door which meant anyone could look underneath it and anything can crawl underneath it as well. I found two spiders in the room along with a bed bug. There was also some big furry critter on the wall that we had to kill. The microwave worked but made this crazy noise like it was going to explode. And there were tears/rips in the curtains. Pretty creepy!
Not far from subway and buses direct to Manhattan, lots of restaurants, shop, bars and parks in the direct neighborhood. Breakfast a bit disappointing but ok for the hotel price
Nothing.. I canceled after one night. they allowed hookers in paying room by the hour, the place was discusting. Nothing.. I canceled after one night. they allowed hookers in paying room by the hour, the place was discusting.
Good location. Easy to find and easy to get to downtown. Although limited, provided a breakfast with juice. Bed was comfortable. They were very full and could not change my room from a smoking to non-smoking room due to being full for the bridge construction employees. Not sure if it would have mattered. Hotel smelled like smoke. All in all, good place for a single night due to location.
It was close to the airport and Rockaway Beach The smell of smoke was unbearable. The beds were beyond uncomfortable. The rooms were not clean. The phone rang at 2:51 in the morning to ask us to take the phone off the hook because they were working on it. Doesn't look bad from outside, awful inside.
The prices was reasonable No
Lousy customer service. I arrived around 8pm and there were only two greasy spoon restaurants still open. Parking area access was one lane in AND out, so cars were parked on the sidewalk.
Nothing, completely awful experience The room, location, the staff!! No hospitality, they tried to charge me extra
Too expansive and too annoying! Upstairs rooms didn¿t stop talking and walking till over middle night.
Every time I get to go to room the key gave problems then had to go to the front desk and the staff was not friendly so I wanted another 15 minutes before I could get in to the room that was paid for The wait to get the problems with the keys solve
The pricing Dirty!! Rugs stained and dirty. Bathroom had hair and mold in shower. Toilet not clean...,
Location was close to my Conference in Tarrytown. Also there is a MALL across the street. The walls are paper thin. Noisy. The Hotel Manager was super attentive. My WIFI disconnected as well. But overall they suck. No phone in the room. I had to download an ALARM CLOCK on my PC(I forgot my I phone) which resulted in Malware infection in my computer. The surge protector for the CABLE TV was faulty, and I had to keep rebooting the CABLE BOX. No blanket on my bed
The car on block in front of the office. Props go for it being an Acura. I liked the room price. But it came at a price... The ash trays outside of every room. The foul rugs and the dirty bathrooms with hair and spooge every where. Not so savory.
privacy and relaxing the bed sheets and blankets a bit dirty
The hotel was still rather new and the room was pretty nice. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. - Fridge and A/C not in full working order. - Staff told me that I couldn't check out when I went down front to check out the next morning. I've never heard of such. I checked out anyway. Staff was confused about the length of time that we were staying. - Staff took a photo copy of my credit card. - People lived here and one of the residents blasted music, while detailing his car for hours in the middle of the night. We got very little sleep. It was louder than the train going by. Nothing was done by the staff or security to handle the situation. - Parking lot is supposed to be for travelers only. Cars were in and out all night long. Nothing was done by staff or security. - We are frequent travelers that are familiar with staying in big cities and in different parts of the country. This is the only hotel that I have ever felt unsafe and unwelcome. Will not stay again.
The staff was courteous for the most part. There was no internet to all the rooms, which was not made clear on the website. Microwave was all the way in the main office.
nothing the rooms where very dirty and it look nothing like the pictures at all
Not much to like other than it was available at our budget. Very run down motel on a hard to find highway. Walk up metal stairs very hard with luggage, especially in the puring rain. Rooms are very old and the air conditioning too noisy. There were people yelling and swearing outside at all hours of the morning.cleanliness seemed secondary to the staff. Needs a facelift.
Location AC in room did not work, had to switch to another room...
Room was cheap and minutes from Manhattan. Wifi didn't work, uncensored and very graphic porn channel in the middle of the local TV stations made flipping through with a kid in the room dangerous, front desk vanished when I tried to figure out the Wifi situation, wanted to charge us for a cot that should have been free but I complained and they didn't.
The room was comfortable and a good size.
Wireless internet; air conditioning; complementary breakfast Noisy/next to the highway; not convenient if without car, even though rather close to nyc - nyc cab does not help; make sure you get a detailed 'how to get there' and from there to nyc - this makes approx usd 20/day/2 pers to reach nyc downtown and rejoin the motel; the non smoking rooms smelled cigarettes
Nothing ,I stayed for two nights instead of four and stayed in a Hostel in manhattan ,I loved the shared room better than this place.Dont stay in this hotel if you are not coming with a car The breakfast is a fraud. Iam currently disputing an unauthorised transaction on my Card where I was charged $302. this transaction is different from the one I made to pay for the two nights I stayed there. The hotel manager says he doesnt know anything about the charge
The staff were very courteous and helpful. The lady at the reception dsk is extremely friendly. The fact that it is so far out of the bus route for tourists with no cars. You cannot stay out too late.
It is close to the GW bridge so you can get into Manhattan in just a few minutes. Also the wi-fi in our room was free and fast, although not all rooms have it. It was extremely run down and seemed dirty. A place for prostitution. There were mirrors above, behind and to the side of our bed. Definitely no frills. A woman standing next to us while we were checking in told us that it was a place that people "come to for a couple hours and then leave". Then she proceeded to tell us she's been doing that for 20 years. Definitely would not recommend it to anyone. It's a shady place for prostitution.
