- Great location, close to everything. - Basically attached to Rainforest Cafe, an indoor water park, Starbucks. - Gave a $5 gift card if you choose to forego getting fresh towels, etc as a thank you for "going green" -Bathroom was small in the room where we stayed (one queen bed) - Cable didn't work in our room
Staff is friendly. View to the Falls outstanding. Parking is way over priced. With charge and additional fees we paid over $100.00 for having our car at an inconvenient location. Parking
The veiw was the amazing
Hotel staff was friendly, great view of the falls and the windows restaurant was the best! Heated pool was freezing
Bathroom was small and the shower was rediculous short.
The hotel was nice and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
The view from our room was fantastic! The room was spacious and comfortable and the fireplace offered some unexpected romance. The staff was friendly when checking in and out. Close proximity to several attractions. Slow, small elevators that were often already full. The price for self parking seemed a bit high, considering the price of the room.
There were stains on the pillow. Washroom looked very old. pillows seemed very low quality.
Very good location Starbucks in hotel prices are expensive and drinks are not good. I ordered strawberry banana almost $10 (including tax) and taste so bad.
Got randomly upgraded to a falls view room for free, was awesome! Nice big spacious room. Window opened to outside. Could hear and see the falls all evening. Nice and clean. Fridge in the room. Resort fee included a beer tasting plus other perks. Would stay there again if I ever went back. Parking a bit pricy, but everything is.
Clean rooms, clean spacious bathroom, great breakfast buffet, friendly staff, great outdoor pool - awesome view of the falls, great location - everything is walking distance, starbucks at lobby, fast check-in and check-out concierge glanced at us, maybe saw we're not Canadian (he was), glanced right back down at what he was doing. male staff behind him realized other guy was choosing not to attend to us, so he greeted us and asked us what we needed and proceeded to help us out. tsk tsk. this tiny bit was the only negative thing. shame on that dude.
Like the location, the room and convenience of being connected to casino. Didn't like that we had to park in parking garage of casino. It was quite a hike with bags.
location and the room was nice after we asked top have it cleaned We had problems with the cleanliness of the room but it was rectified after we brought it to their attention.
Location is in a great spot, lounge is nice good staff, rooms are really nice and spacious. Bed was a little on the hard side, no seat in the steam shower.
Loved the atmosphere no pool
The standard king room exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed the king size bed! My husband and had a great time at the Sterling Inn & Spa.
The room was very nice. Beautiful furniture. Did not like the location. Thought we would be closer to Niagara Falls. The hotel was in the middle of nowhere. The room was nice, but the floor was not clean enough -- it was sticky in some areas.
The room was very nice. I liked the fireplace and the jetted tub. The continental breakfast is a nice touch. The food at the restaurant was excellent. It was not easy to find in the part of town where it is located. It is on a corner so signs on both streets would help. Provide a larger table in the rooms for the continental breakfast, or in case people are interested in room service. Although the food at the restaurant was excellent, the menu choices are too limited. It is also very pricey for ala carte fare.
Fireplace, jacuzzi & breakfast in bed Luxury room in a good location
Our room was very nice with a jacuzzi tub which was a pleasant surprise. Our view was nothing to enjoy. The staff was not very helpful with directions to the local attractions.
STAFF WAS VERY CARING . PARKING VERY CONVIENENT . 2 COMPUTERS AND PRINTER IN BUSINESS AREA FOR USE . LARGE IN ROOM SAFE . THIN WALLS . HAD HONEYMOONERS ON ONE SIDE MAKING "NOISES" AT 2am and again at 5am 2 days in a row . ON THE OTHER SIDE COUPLE PLAYED RADIO AND OPENED , CLOSED , LATCHED ADJOINING DOOR AT 4:30 am THEN HAD LOUD CONVERSATION . MATRESSES TOO SOFT . HOT / COLD INDICATOR IN SHOWER WAS OPPOSITE OF ACTUAL OPERATION .
The hotel is conveniently close to all the attractions, yet it doesn't feel loud or crowded. We really took advantage of the indoor and outdoor pool, the spa, and the sauna. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and clean. We had a great view of the park and the city landmarks. I've stayed in Niagara before and this was the better experience by far.
Great location close to Falls and everything !! Will stay there our next trip
Rooms were big Great view of the city Walking distance to Niagara falls King size room had a pool out coach
Loved the location, the room was great, the service was great, and the hotel did stay very quiet and there were 3 sports teams while we were there. The wait time for the elevator was 15 minutes at peak time. And I would suggest going out for breakfast.
We watched the nightly 10 pm fireworks right from our room window. We walked to all the Clifton Hill attractions. The indoor pool & hot tub were great for the kids. Liked everything
Room was clean Every time I go they give me excuse that they have water problem even after I reserved a room online then they shift me to a lower class room for same price which is not fair it's a ripoff
Location and cleanliness. Expensive breakfast and parking
It was clean, comfortable, good location. We had no issues whatever. It was not fancy, but e erything was functionable. No issues whatever.
Very nice room, clean and great location. Not enough towels for two people... Refrigerator didn't work.. A/C is poor.. Hardly cooled the room. Staff not so welcoming nor friendly at desk.
Location and cleanliness Parking was added on at the end of stay. We would have appreciated notification of parking fee prior to stay since parking lot adjacent to hotel was $5/night.
the location - it was central and near to the Niagara Falls but nevertheless our room was quiet and peaceful.Unual swimming pool set-up in the receptiion area. Our rooms did not have a window opening to the outside - only onto the corridor outside the room - hence it felt somewhat claustrophobic. The breakfast area was very crowded and a bit chaotic.
Not bad but too expensive for the services
Overall very good, location, Very good breakfast & clean. The TV was not working. It had been unplugged. I had to move the large dresser to find out that it was unplugged & then plug it back in.
It was to light at night, all the lights were on outside the windows which made it hard to sleep
I booked room in Nov. 2014. The hotel was close to many attractions in Niagara Falls, and at a reasonable walking distance from the Falls. It is clean, modern, offers a decent breakfast and the room we had was very good. The beds were quite comfortable. Its indoor facilities include a pool, Jaccuzzi and sauna. One of its main advantage is the free parking, which in NF is a big deal! Overall, definitely a recommendable hotel. On week-ends, expect families with kids that will monopolize the pool and Jacuzzi at certain times. Can't think of anything!
My bf and I stayed here for only one night in a whirlpool room. The room also had a fireplace which was nice and worked great. The entire room was VERY clean it was a great stay. Upon our arrival we were at the ice machine and saw a cleaning lady delivering a fridge to another room, since we were filling up on a tonne of ice she asked if we would like one in our room, she found a fridge and delivered it to our room immediatly! The pool is in a weird location but that didnt bother us and we didnt use it anyway. Hotel is right beside Nightmares and accross the street from Nigara Casino and a waterpark. We would definatly go back to this hotel!
Clean, great staff, nice lobby. No exercise room
Overall, the room seemed mostly clean, but very dated. The bed was huge and very clean. Amenities were minimal, but the staff was friendly and very helpful to this first time traveler to Niagara Falls. There was a convention of cheerleaders the weekend I was there and they kindly put me in a honeymoon suite away frim the noise. The location can't be beat. It's right across the street from the Clifton Hill entertainment district and about a 10 minute walk to the Falls. Lots of places to eat, even if you are like me with lots of dietary restrictions. The in house free breakfast is standard hotel issue, but nice to have on busy days. Some of the towels were slightly dirty and there was mold on the shower curtain. The swimming pool and the whirlpool are inside the front entrance (same place as the breakfast and check-in), so it's very hot and humid in that space. It also smells of chlorine everywhere in the hotel. For this reason, I think, the air conditioner was on the whole time (even though I had turned the room unit to heat, because it was snowing outside)! The room never smelled of chlorine though. The TV reception was also spotty at best, but ultimately not an issue, as I was out most of the time. The elevators are a little slow, but very cool, one being glass and facing the inside of the lobby.
Huge room, great location Very loud air conditioner, no refrigerator in room, poor quality hot breakfast items
I liked the second bedroom No
It was right in the heart of downtown and was so easy to go everywhere on foot. No added expense for taxi's or parking. The only critique I could give is that the pool was not open as late as I would have liked. It closed at 10 p.m.
The staff was awesome, the location was the best in town and free parking Pool opens at 10 am, too late, and closes at 10 pm way too early
Great B&B! Enjoyed our stay, close (10minute) walk to main strip in Niagara Falls and a great bike ride to Niagara on the Lake. Staff was helpful and breakfast was good. Would stay here again!
The house was beautiful. I found the staff to be very helpful an friendly an, the location was excellent. The room was very modern for a 1891 building an the colors a little over the top.
Friendly service and excellent breakfasts The temporary detraction of the exterior due to the on-going renovation/construction.
It's proximity to the Falls and complimentary breakfast. I was not aware that it was under construction. We also had issues with the door to our room. It took a considerable amount of effort to open and close it. The innkeeper had to come help us get into the room.
The location was great for walking to the falls and we saved a tremendous amount on parking. Plus the queen bedroom was pretty nice, though the bed was extremely firm. The queen room had a balcony though which was great at night (it was shared with the other room but we were by ourselves every night). The host was late and inattentive. We were locked out for twenty minutes because she left when we were scheduled to check in. Every time we saw her she seemed almost confused by us wanting to speak to her. Or maybe even annoyed. Breakfast was an egg and a half plus some toast. We spoke to a family at the table who said they had eaten the same thing three days in a row. Our host was just not someone you'd want taking care of you for the weekend. I say "host" because she never actually introduced herself the three days we were there. The original room we paid for promised a king bed, when in reality it was two twin beds pushed together. She told us no one had ever complained before. Luckily the queen room happened to be available so we switched.
Location and room is great You have to pay extra for parking!

The location to the event we attended The room was exceptionally small...felt a lot like a broom closet. The ceiling was falling apart and the heater/ air did not work
Great staff. Very clean. Free fallsview upgrade. Small room.
Location of this hotel is great, close to the falls, and a great view. As well as Clifton Hill. Easy to deal with staff as well, willingness to help was excellent. Dated/aged building (though nicely finished), and some relatively small rooms. As well as rooms with terrible views of the parking garage if you don't get a Falls view room. Paper thin walls too.
Decor was very nice, staff was very friendly. Very good location It was a lot of traffic and we need to always stay on line to the elevator No fridge in the room - I like coffee only with fresh cream. I have been awaken around 1 pm by noisy neighbours and need to call twice to get intervention. Expensive parking.
The staff are great. Good location. I booked two rooms. One was fine, the other was unacceptably small. The room barely fit a double bed although I booked a queen bed room. They decided to switch me to another room, which was a 'normal size' room with two double beds.
nice team restraunt was fantastic
connectivity to the casino, clifton hill, waterpark etc. #35 parking cost is a rip off...also was expecting some dining discounts for the hotel's fallsview buffet especially after learning about the resort fees.
The proximity to the Falls and the Rainbow Room, the lobby. The hallways on the 7th floor smelled old and dusty, as did the room. The thermostat did not regulate room temperature - it was unbearably hot. The bathtub had chips in it. Overall, not aligned with the other properties in this category.

Location. Outrageous parking fees.
the location was excellent. the hotel was clearly in a run down state. it did not warrant the price tag for staying there. simple things like removing/cleaning notice boards in the elevators would go a long way to give the illusion of better upkeep. impressions are important.
Total cost for a King bed and fold out couch was $57.50 (US). You could see the American Falls from our window. They would probably be obscured by trees when their leaves return. Pool area was fine, perhaps a little stark. Bed was somewhat comfortable. The room was kept up. For some reason, there was a plastic bag over the smoke detector. Walls seem very thin. Could hear the neighboring TV very clearly. We used the noisy fan to create white noise to drown out the TV. Our door would rattle when the neighboring door would shut. The bathroom could use some work. The light colored tile grout was turning black and tiles cracked.
It was good price and close to the falls and Clifton hills My room did not have a jacuzzie tub like in the description I was kind of disappointed by that
Only thing good at this hotel is location. The room smelled like cigarette smoke (our clothes and hair smelled just from being in there). The curtains looked and smelled like they have never been washed since they were put up. Even the air coming out of the a/c unit smelled. Stained carpeting. Tried to get a different room but was told none available. Front desk staff not helpful. (During our 4 day stay we dealt with a broken toilet, broken safe, dog barking through night, elevator broken for 2 days). This hotel is for smokers and people traveling with dogs. Wish we had left as soon as we smelled the room.
godd service and quick response to urgent needs everthing seems normal
Very dirty. Un safe. Was warned about shady characters walking around. Water stains on furniture.
Centrally located. Most sites walking distance. Needs updating, parking should be free if you stay there... plus my car was dinged in the lot!
I loved the location! The stuff was very nice, room had everything we needed. There was an "old carpet" smell in the hallway and the room. I mean it nothing that will burn the nose hair but it was there.
Had the junior suite which was very spacious (however friend also had suite that was slightly smaller so specify when booking). Overall was a decent stay for one night but wouldn't want extended stay there. Close to clubs and shopping! For some reason the tv channels were seriously lacking. Aimed to be back in room for jays game but couldn't get it on tv! Also mini-fridge and microwave are great to have but seriously small and outdated! My friends and I joked that this was a hotel-motel feel.
location I was charge extra for a full parking Parking lot. Room is dark and tv super old , with 5 channels. They offer Wii fi ,but it was not able . I complained and a handyman came to help me and He said sorry. It does not work on 8 floor. Luis Araoz
Courtyards, family movie night Pools too far, inconvienent. Same with workout rooms.
The size of the room and the hotel setup
location was good and value for money is really good it was a little loud at times, lots of young children running around
I liked the proximity to the main area of Niagara.. walking distance to everything I wanted to do with my children. It was clean with very friendly staff at reception. The fridge froze everything that was in it overnight, so the kids couldnt have water or juice when they woke up as it was ice ! The people above us were quiet noisy at 10.00 p.m.
The hotel was clean and pretty quiet.
Rooms clean everyone pleasant very noisy in room above
The assistance checking in and out - the person at the desk was well-trained and knowledgeable. The only complaint I can make is that I didn't have a car but was charged for parking. Not a big issue as I simply called the billing number after I returned home and had it corrected.
The Inn was better than we expected. Cleanliness was very good. Staff was helpful.
Hotel is close to water park and the Clifton Hill locations
I will remember to ask for an upper room next time as there are a lot of kids at this hotel and they run around all the time, right above us. Otherwise, great.
Nothing blew my mind about the place. Pool was VERY far from skyline inn. Spilled coffee grains on the carpet and it was never cleaned up when room service passed, during our three night stay. Also cups where CLEARLY wiped clean instead of being replaced by clean ones.
I was very impressed with your maid service - they were friendly, business like, happy and they aimed to please and do anything that you would like. Their cleaning was top notch. You should be very proud of them! Thank you
Beds were really comfortable. The staff were helpful. Loved the kids pool adjacent to the swimming pool. Good water pressure in the room shower. Location was great! Far enough from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to walk or catch the WeGo bus. Dated! But clean. Torn carpet, old fixtures. Wifi was terrible unless you were in the lobby. Breakfast was a little expensive.
The sliding glass door opened. False advertising. No restaurant or bar - advertised but was told it was seasonal Front desk staff rude Wifi - only available in hallway by the elevators and lobby Spoke to staff and was told hotel was full they didnt guarantee wifi. Would have stayed elsewhere if this was the case. No air conditioning. This was huge!!! Thought ac was broken and was told that weather was getting colder and the hotel had turned off the ac and turned on all of the heaters. It was 68 degrees. I have travelled all over and stayed in 2 star to 5 star hotels. Never have I been told that I could no longer use my ac. Not sure if this is an issue with kayak or Travel lodge but this is clearly false advertising. Also, when the heater/fan did come on it spit water out onto the floor and bed.
location and the beds and the price
I loved the pool, hottub, sauna area. Great for families!! Rooms a bit dated; however, doesn't matter. Price was right and very clean. No lunch available - restaurant closed on Monday of the March break?? Seriously. Also, breakfast included for a flat rate would've been a nice touch.
My 11 year old daughter is not shy when it comes to asking for help. She befriended one of the housekeepers, Darlene, early on in our stay. Darlene was so kind to my daughter even making sure to tell me what a ray of sunshine she was.
Clean room, very nice staff and close to everything. Pool was clean and relaxing after a hot day at the falls. Hotel is far enough from the crowds but easy walk to falls and US side and Clifton Hill. The parking at $15 for guests and non guests are the same, somewhat ridiculous. The breakfast buffet is $10 and no free coffee at the hotel lobby. Very high prices after spending money to stay there.
what i like in this hotel is the calmness of the area and the staff was so friendly. it's better if they enhance better their services. I didn't like being obliged to go to the elevator's area to be able to connect to wireless internet. I suggest to extend the coverage to the rooms walkway at least.
I liked the location and was amazingly surprise if the facilities offered as well as the room lay out. Parking was right there and even though we were 5 mins walking distance from the falls and all the entertainment we were away from the noise. N/A
Fairly close to the falls. There was an indoor pool. Rooms are in need of essential repairs. Our shower and bath tub was backed up, had leaky faucets for the sink. Rusted bath tub that suggested there might be a bigger moisture issue in the bathroom. The wall paper was clearly paling off the walls around the entire room. The double beds were the most lumpy and uncomfortable things we've had to sleep on.
The buffet breakfast for $10 per adult. Walking distance to the falls and Clifton Hill We were placed on the first floor which felt like a basement. The rooms were outdated, musty and damp. The carpet was loose and needs to be cleaned. The cleaning staff cleaned half of the room, my son made the 2nd bed and they left towels on the floor. The adjoining room, which was family, had their room door left open. The amount paid per room, I was hoping for something a little nicer. I felt that because we booked with an outside agency, we were stuck in the basement instead of the main building which was nicer. There was signs stating there was vacancy, so I'm sure we didn't have to be put where we were.
The service was great, good directions and they gave us a late checkout. We booked a city view room but got a corner room looking over the pool and parking
