Pros:

Pick up and drop off was not easy especially drop off. It’s in a mall and I have no idea where is car returns. I haven’t given any directions, all I have is the address. No signs whatsoever about car returns. I have to park in the mall and go around asking people. I found there office inside the mall and the lady said I can park anywhere in the mall. The lady wasn’t friendly. I’m not super happy about the drop off part but the price and car were great.

Cons:

Better communication towards pickups and drop off locations and more instructions.

Pros:

The pick-up was horrible. I was suppose to pick up the vehicle at 12 noon. I didn't get a vehicle until after 1:00pm.

Cons:

This was my first time driving a "keyless" vehicle. I wasn't given any instructions how to operate it. I had to call a friend to tell me how to start and turn off the vehicle. I'm old school and hadn't rented a vehicle in over several years.

Pros:

Staff was wonderful. Unfortunately Budget doesn't provide the location with vehicles for the day until two hours before the site opens for business, so there was a long delay from check-in until my rental was ready.

Cons:

Turnover could be improved for cleaning vehicles by either having more staff or providing vehicles to be sterilized earlier.

Pros:

Absolutely nothing good

Cons:

The staff at that location was rude, disrespectful, didn't want to listen to me & said they had to charge me $200 on my credit card, so the female said she was cancelling it..... So went online to book with Avis, so I want my insurance payment back, since they wouldn't give me vehicle and treated me like I didn't know what I was talking about.....

Pros:

The staff was rude and unfriendly when arriving for pick up. Car wasn’t ready and I was made to wait and then offered a different type of car to the one I rented.

Cons:

The car could’ve been ready on time and I could’ve been given clearer and friendlier instructions. The system was messy.

Every time I have rented a car from Hertz at Union Station, there are never cars available at pick up time. There’s always a huge line of people who reserved but can’t get cars because none are available. They purposely overbook and when customers show up, the message is screw you, you can wait until a car shows up—and who knows when that will be.

I made my reservation in the am to pick up a car with my young children at 30th st station in DC . When we arrived hertz said they don’t honor same day reservations and didn’t have a car. My kids weee in tears and this severely damaged our vacation.

Cons:

I made a reservation to pick up at the Enterprise at 99 H Street which is inside of Union Station. When I arrived, the location was closed. I had to have a car service take me to the airport which was a $20 charge, and an hour and a half of my time that I needed for travel. If the location is closed, I’m confused as to why I could even make a reservation in the first place. This was extremely disappointing!

Enterprise did not honor the rental. No car was available, which required me to rent elsewhere last minute, costing hundreds of dollars more than I otherwise would have had to pay. Never using them again.

Pros:

Unfortunately, nothing.

Cons:

When I arrived at the rental location the representative told me that I did not have a reservation. When I showed him my reservation he said “oh, I tried calling you because we don’t have any cars available.” I explained that I would be willing to pay more for any car they had (I saw several cars in the lot) but he said I couldn’t because they had all been reserved. I reiterated that I also had a reservation and he just stated “I’m sorry, it’s our system.” It became clear that he was not willing to help so I left incredibly disappointed and without a vehicle. It was incredibly inconvenient as I had to completely change my plans for the weekend. Based on this experience I will never rent from kayak or enterprise again.

Pros:

I was the only customer at pickup likely due to covid and considering the circumstances the overall experience was pleasant. Dropoff wasn't as smooth but nothing worth losing sleep over.

Cons:

It seems like Avis's entire fleet at Union Station was kind of bedraggled and the location of the rental agencies within the garage is a bit depressing, which I admit is probably out of their control.

Cons:

Felt lied to because I was told my car was full but it was only half full (gas). I paid unnecessarily for gas. Plus, they didn't have the car size I wanted. Would not recommend.
