Compact SUV

My rental was fast and easy, gratefully considering it was at the end of a long hellacious travel day. Even though the rental agent was in her first week, it was still a very quick and painless process.

Was given a smaller car than the one that was booked. Space not enough for luggage for an airport drop off.

They told me they couldn't rent me a car without flight information. So if I was your company I would take them off your search list.

Passenger van

I made my reservation 3 weeks early. 3 days before pick up they called to tell me they did not have the van size I needed at that location. They said they would help me find a van somewhere else and they never called me back again. I was very disappointed.

Pros:

It wasn't the locations fault. The staff was friendly.

Cons:

I reserved a car online through a discount dealer. So I blame them, really. It allowed me to make the reservation when in fact the location only had minivans left. The minivans would have cost an additional (approximately from memory) $150 or something. I couldn't afford that. Also this location was only accepting credit cards - no debit cards or cash.

Pros:

Staff was friendly and helpful.

Cons:

I wanted to drop the car I rented off in a different site than I picked up from. The fee was ridiculous!

Pros:

The Budget facility was convenient and workers were helpful.

Cons:

The vehicle had a strong smoke odor, not very clean, and some interior trim pieces were broken. Both of the passenger side grab handles were loose or held on by only one screw.
