Your pickup was not at the airport. I had to pay $50 to Uber 25 miles to pickup the car and was not able to drop the car off at the airport which meant I had to drop my people off at the airport and then drive 25 miles back to the Avis location to return the car. There weren’t enough cars ready to go and there were many people waiting for their cars. I got stuck with a jeep wrangler (terrible gas mileage) when I rented a standard vehicle. It smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke and the oil change light was on when I picked it up. Because there weren’t enough cars I didn’t want to wait longer to switch it out. But I wanted to let them know so I didn't get charged for these things and the worker told me he didn’t have any of the forms to report it.Reviewed Mar 9 2023

The first car I was assigned was not in the spot. Waited in line again at the counter in the parking lot, and was told to go back downstairs. Had to wait in line yet again to get reassigned. Overall, the process took over an hour, with the initial line only having 4 people in front of me, then 2 at the parking lot kiosk, and then waiting for almost 35 minutes to go through the like downstairs again. Very poor communication from the workers, and none seemed to want to deal with people, and not a single apology for the mistake, just a glare and a piece of paper shoved back at me.Reviewed Aug 25 2022

The convenience and easy pickup and drop was amazing. The size of the vehicle for the value was great. The only slight issue was the car was a little dirty. In the cup holders and some crevices were sticky. Luckily I travel with Disinfectant wipes, other than that I would use Payless again for my car rental needs.Reviewed Jul 13 2022
