Pros: If you plan to spend more time on the water than in the car.... this car was a good deal and just what we needed it for :)

Cons: Pick up/drop off. No place to drop off our rental when it was before the office opened ( we even informed them, and it was in the contract that we needed to drop the car early). customer service has yet to respond to inquiries after 3 days of waiting for a receipt as well as responding to any issue that we encountered. They got the money for the rental and seem to not want to respond to the issues.

Not very reliable
Pros: No one was at the airport counter..the sales Rep could not find my name in the computer.. They were not apologetic.. We ended up calling another company who showed up on time..

Cons: Car was not clean upon my arrival. Paint chips all over, front fender was broken. Terrible experience.

Pros: Booked online ahead of time to guarantee a car, price was lower than other companies, took care of paperwork right at the airport, quick ride to the lot where the car was stored
Cons: I had no issue but....I purchased insurance through a link provided when booking. When I picked up the car, they offered insurance. Wish I had known to purchase it directly, in case there was an accident. Thankfully, no fender benders.

Pros: The girl at the airport was very nice but they were all out of the car we reserved so we were upgraded to a larger size car which turned out to be a nightmare!
Cons: The top and hood were covered with peeling paint and there were dents, gouges and scratches all over the entire car! The inside was quite dirty, also. Our first night out to dinner we came out and the battery was dead which cost us a $40 cab ride home! We had to meet them back at the restaurant the next morning and they accused us of leaving the door open since the seatbelt was caught in the door which happened after the fact. There was oil all over the dead battery. However, they jumped the battery and we had to keep the same car. The shock absorbers felt non existent. It was as if it was a car that had been sitting in someone's backyard in the weather for years! They did not make us pay for the mechanic or what happened to the battery which was a relief and the way it should have been but they refused to reimburse us for the taxi.

Vehicle Served the Purpose
Pros: Relatively good price that held 7 people.
Cons: Very basic of a vehicle.

Tiny car - great price but...
Pros: The staff was really nice....the car was a bit beat up (but we were on an island) and the price was great.. $278 for an entire week.
Cons: When I arrived to pick up the car the staff member asked me if I wanted "pre-pay gas". I had a hard time making the decision so she reassured me that if I chose pre-pay that they would check the gas level and only charge me for the amount of gas needed for a full tank upon my return. Well as it turned out I filled the tank the evening prior to returning the car so the tank was full. The staff member proceeded to charge me an extra $50 even though she had got into the car to take note of milage and gas level. I talked to her about it and she immediately refunded my money.

Low expectations were met but not exceeded
Pros: It got the job done. Car was tight but we made it work. No mechanical issues, pretty clean. A/C worked.
Cons: Only two customers in front of us, but it was a 45 minute wait due to the slow clerk. No other car rentals had a line, and when customers walked up to those counters they were handled quickly. I was charged extra for several local taxes despite the quote listing that all taxes and fees were included. I also lost my cell phone somewhere along the way at the airport. I am unsure where, but when i called Payless to ask if anyone had turned one in, the first person to answer quickly said "no." No effort to ask around. Called back later, got a different clerk, and she seemed to make an effort before telling me no. But she then said "if you lost it on the shuttle, well, several employees and other customers would have been in there since then, if you know what I'm saying." You mean, you're saying that if a customer lost an item, your employees would steal the item for themselves rather than turn it in? Ok, great way to inspire confidence in your company and your employees. The car got the job done, so if I needed a cheap junker again to get around I'd still rent from them again if they were the best priced, but I'd look elsewhere first and use a competitor if all else was comparable.

Cons: Pick up and drop off slow and complicated compared to other options. Initially rented a car for four people that no way could fit four people and spent an hour exchanging cars and we were charged for the first car. Drop off process did not make sense and took 30 minutes. This is not something we're used to doing on vacation.

Easy pickup with no nonsense
Pros: No upselling. They actually live up to what they advertised.
Cons: Where to return the car was unclear. In reality, drive into airport as if you're dropping a passenger and then keep going. The rental drop off will be to the right after the terminal. Yes, in the parking lot naming most rental companies except Payless.

Operation Needs Improvement
Pros: Convenient pickup location not too far from the airport. Drop-off is just across the street from the terminal.
Cons: Staff are slow in paperwork and no one at the drop-off site to sign in the vehicle upon return.

Providencial, Turks and Caicos
Pros: Friendly service. Efficient agents at the airport counter and at the pick up location.
Cons: The car rattled quite a bit - not sure if it was "just the way the car sounds" or if the muffler was loose. But - it ran okay.

Pros: Car kind of sucked. Besides we ordered economy but got sub compact. Maybe it's the same thing but not likely

Car rental COUNTER is in terminal
Pros: Cheaper rate than other rental companies
Cons: Had to be shuttled to the car ... not fun with a baby and lots of luggage. Took a very, very long time to get the paperwork processed at the counter ... might be dup to "island time" though.

Pros: The easy of drop off. The straight forward billing.
Cons: The off site pick up. The drop off is right there, you know I'm coming, why can't the car be in the drop of area for pick up? The van size was listed for seven people and seven bags. The trunk was tiny. There was no way seven people with seven bags would fit in that van.

Be warned. Look over your contract before you sign
Cons: Attendant at the airport counter did not care or want to correct her error. Although I showed her the reservation was for 5 days not 6, she refused to acknowledge that she keyed in the rental contract wrong. I had to wait an extra half hour (on top of the 45 minutes I had already waited and wasted dealing with her) to talk with a manager, who finally resolved the issue.

the car was badly rundown
Pros: low price
Cons: dirty seats, multiple scratches, broken off knobs - did not justify $30 savings compared to the quotes from other rental companies

Good but not what I expected
Pros: Overall the van was nice, comfortable and clean, AC worked well. We had no issues with the car.
Cons: We requested a 15 seater van.. and ended up with a 7 seater van.. problem was that there were 13 of us! We ended up renting another car through hertz. Overall the car was fine.. it was clean the AC worked it got us to places etc.. it was just initially inconvenient with a large group. Thank god we rented another car. For this reason I didn't think the money was worth it because we should have got the 15 seater van. Returning the car took a few minutes they kept directing me to different counters.. I ended up dropping the keys off on the key box.

Have to be 25 and older
Cons: Most car insurance agencies allow for persons under the age of 25 rent a car from them, they just have to pay a higher mandatory insurance and their deductible is higher. This place didn't specify. Had to rent with a different company and ended up paying a lot more than I would have if I had known.
