Expect to get “up sales “ hustle on extra insurance coverage. Would not recognize “third party” full coverage. Then costs for traveling outside EU zones.
To my surprise, they did not provide a shuttle service from/to the airport. Had I known that, I would have paid a couple of dollars more per day and saved the inconvenience & the Uber fare to their office & back.
Overall smooth. Friendly service and quick in and out. Car was a little older and scuffed up, but did the job fine for a fair price. No complaints!
Fantastic team, very helpful, excellent customer service, strong English knowledge, no kiosk available in the terminal, but urgent easy pickup from terminal ...you need to call them.
I reserve a 12 pasagers Van for 450$ but when I picked they said they didn't have it.I hade to pay 950 to have the van secure the next day 😡

Very disappointing experience — avoid Payless I had booked a rental car with Payless in advance, but when I arrived at Istanbul Airport to pick up the car, I was told that my reservation had been cancelled. I had never received any notification or warning that my booking had been cancelled. What made the situation even worse was that the employee at the counter then offered me the same car at a price that was around three times higher than what I had originally booked. I had no other choice at that moment, so I ended up paying almost three times the original price. I also did not receive my deposit back, even though I had no fines, damages, or any other issues with the rental. I cannot say for certain what happened with my reservation, but the circumstances made me seriously question whether it was deliberately cancelled so that I would have to pay a much higher price at the counter. Overall, this was one of the worst car rental experiences I have ever had. I will never rent from Payless again, and I strongly recommend looking for another rental company.
Great service and a terrific rental experience
Avis Bratislava is excellent car rental company with an amazing and very helpful team. The staff is always friendly, professional, and willing to go the extra mile to make everything easy and smooth. Thanks to the great team and excellent service, this has become my favourite car rental company. The only improvement I would suggest would be the option to extend the rental by one day directly by phone, which would make the service even more convenient. Overall, very highly recommended!
