The location where I made the reservation didn't have any cars available and had been waiting all afternoon for the distribution center to send over more cars. Four of us in the lobby were stuck. Luckily, another woman asked them to check a different location about 15 minutes away. The associate did, and they had cars. The associate asked if we'd be willing to go to that location and since I had been dropped off, I didn't have transportation. Thankfully, the woman who'd asked was a real Good Samaritan and offered me a lift. When I got to the other place, they didn't have the car I reserved (an intermediate) and I had to take a compact, which I didn't enjoy, but I took anyway because I was under a time crunch. This other location did their best but they seemed overwhelmed with all of us coming over. The first Avis center was all very disorganized. How is it they accepted reservations without available cars? Why didn't I get a call ahead of time if there were no cars, so I could make other arrangements? It was a mess.8.0 Very good

No signs instructing you where to drop off vehicle. It was a one way rental so I didn't pick it up there. It was inconvenient because she made me go back to mall parking to pull car up to front door which was difficult to findThrifty
