Value. Only hotel near Portland that an average person can afford. The room decor was non existent. Newish make over was modern but the walls lacked any color or design. Paintings/pictures not needed but something to break up the monotony.
Nothing. It was very stark. Lots of sketchy looking people lurking around. We did not stay the night, we booked a room at the days inn. Defiantly not a place to take a family.
Nothing The staff was rude and very unhelpful. They kicked us out in the cold at 2am because we had one extra person show up. Fuck that place.
Location was ok The place was dirty and cheap! The ground felt like it had never been touched with a broom. They don't provide shampoo or anything. The elevator was the only way around the hotel and it felt as if it was going to break down.
Not much! Bathroom was dirty, no coffee maker, hair dryer, lotion, shampoo or soap dish!
Motel 6 has the bare minimum, and sometimes not even that. I forgot my shampoo and saw that they did not have any in the tub. When I called the front desk, the staff politely told me that they do not carry shampoo even for purchase. They suggested the vending machine which did not have shampoo either. There really wasn't a convenient 24 hour store nearby either. That, to me, should be part of the basics of a motel. I didn't mind the cigarette burns on my comforter, but I think shampoo for purchase should be available if not complementary. Just sayin'
Price was lowest in area. Wife hated two things: bathroom light couldn't be turned on without fan noise (bad), and quality of room light was harsh, like being in a bus station waiting room. I was frustrated with wi-fi: first, having to pay, and, second, only being able to use one device per paid-for code. Even then, it wasn't consistent, would drop out. We moved to another hotel for our second night before catching our plane.
The location for what out plans were was good. House keeping never made the beds or cleaned the floors.
Close to portland for the price. Staff was fantastic. Pretty minimalistic, but for the price you know that. Everything was clean. No bed Cots. Only 2 pillows for a queen/kind bed.
The front desk staff were friendly and very willing to help in any way they could. The top sheets/blanket was not washed and it was wrinkled. The bed skirt had stains on it. The door of the first room that we got before we switched had blood on it. There were pubic hairs still left in the bathtub. The women who cleaned the rooms would yell at each other in the halls for the majority of the day.
The bathroom vanity hadn't been cleaned, the outside lights shined in my room all night because the shades don't close, the heat hadn't been on so I walked in to a very cold room, someone opened my door in the morning while I was in the bathroom.

It's location is perfect for my needs in that area! None
It was much better than I thought it would be! The room was wonderful and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable! I was pleasantly surprised. When they said enter through door 8 to get to your room, but there was no number signs on the doors.
The inside was very clean and there were good areas to walk my dog. Rooms came with good fridge and microwave. Breakfast was included, location was convenient. Parking lot littered with empty liqueur bottles and half eaten fruit throughout the weekend. Maintenance staff did not speak English when I had a problem with my bathroom. Breakfast staff were rude and refused to leave waffle iron spray available to use.
It's certainly the nicest Super 8 I've stayed at. Updated Rooms. Cleanliness was bit of factor. Hairs on shower wall, blood smudge on toilet.
Breakfast Clean room Friendly Staff No
Comfortable beds Staff is very rude.
Great location, clean room.

Really convenient to Freeport and the Interstate. Great, clean, no-frills place to stay. The hallway smelled of cigarette smoke, but the room was fine. Wish there had been more protein of some sort as part of the breakfast.
The room was clean and the staff were pleasant. the walls are paper thin. I had to listen to obnoxously loud drunk people throw up at 4:00 in the morning. All in all we paid $90.00 for a $45.00 a night hotel room.
It was a reasonable value for the money. A little dated.
I felt like my stay was very comfortable, and the accommodations were way above the level of other hotel rooms in the same price range. The room was clean, the bed and pillows were plush and comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast was well stocked with a great selection. I will definitely keep this Super 8 in mind for all my future trips to Portland, ME.
I like the free breakfast and the bed was very comfortable. I slept like a baby. Not really worth mentioning, but there was a light bulb out in the room which I'm sure that they fixed immediately. They thanked me for letting them know. Everyone was very polite to me.
Cost, pool although we didn't use it Our room was not cleaned over 2+ days. Left very late one day and had "do not disturb" up in am so maybe they don't clean later on. But the previous day no sign and still no one came. Girl at front desk was not concerned when I told her about it.
