Pros: The hotel interior was beautiful and the room was fantastic. Wished I had a little more time to enjoy the space, really.
Cons: The parking situation was not terribly clear and even after asking a front desk person I am still not certain I understand how the parking payment works when I get back from my trip.
Pros: Very clean and spacious! The staff at check-in was very friendly as well.
Cons: Unfortunately there isn't a good deal around the shower door so the water ran out and into the floor. Had to use all but one towel to mop up the floor.

Cons: I did not like the fact that housekeeping opened my damn door 3 times before noon (checkout) they should not be allowed in until after checkout... Bullshit!!
Pros: The facility was clean and the managers happy hour was good.
Cons: I called ahead for a room with a view instead what I got was a room with a dumpster view. Also they gave me the handicapped room. Being in honors member I should have received a basket of candy and water which I did not I went to the front desk and ask for it and never received it
Cons: The fact that they didn't have our reservation when we showed up. Big screw up on kayaks part
Pros: The entire staff had a great attitude, the breakfast was exellent and the lobby was very roomy yet personal. We also took advantage of the burger bar, possibly the best onion rings we ever had

Pros: close to airport, nice common areas, updated where it counts.
Cons: The Sliding Patio Door was unlocked when I checked in. WTH? Do y'all not follow a procedure to try and prevent worst possible scenarios? This is something you shouldn't have to contact the front desk about. Don't worry, I locked it and charlie-locked the patio door. Not on my watch.
Pros: Location. It was close to The Henry Ford and the Metro Airport

Pros: Convenient to the airport. My flight was cancelled and this was a great place to stay for the night. Room was comfortable and clean. Wait staff was friendly and the food at the restaurant was very good.
Pros: Everything about the actual room was nice. We stayed the night in a king size. There was air conditioning, a fridge, and free coffee packets. Overall, I think Comfort Inn is a good name, because we both slept like babies.
I wish we were up early enough to eat the breakfast. I'm sure it was good.
Cons: The staff was nice overall. However, when I checked in, one of the nice ladies at the counter didn't speak English too well. Communication was difficult, but I'm not sure how much control Comfort Inn has over this nitpick.
Also, at least for now, there is a lot of construction in the area. So it's hard to imagine what the stay would have been like without it. But neither of us were particularly fond of the prolonged roadwork.
Pros: Staff was excellent, room was clean, restaurant/bar on-site, free breakfast, timely shuttle to the airport. It was exactly what I needed to catch my flight the next morning.
Cons: Bathroom was a little small and there was no conditioner for my hair, but otherwise my stay was great.
Pros: Staff was very friendly and professional. Restaurant was open late and had free room service. Breakfast started early.
Pros: approximate to airport, clearn & staff was helpfull
Cons: lobby was extremely hot and humid, restaurant was ok... food not so great.
Cons: View of Overgrown, abandoned hotel across the parking lot and moldy/ musty smelling room.
Pros: Despite close proximity to airport, it was quiet. Front desk and house keeping staff were courteous and friendly. The onsite restaurant was good and reasonably priced.
Cons: Had to wait 30 minutes to check in because they did not have my reservation in the system (it was booked using one of those hotel booking sites). It was eventually resolved but not something you want to do at midnight after a long trip. First room had a telephone but no wire connecting it. The TV set did not work. 2nd room had a telephone with a connecting wire but no dial tone. With two queen beds, room was a little tight, could not sit at the desk and another person get by. In both rooms, toilet seats were loose.

Cons: Everything was fine.

Cons: But the fire alarm went off at 6:30 am and we stood outside for an hour before being allowed to go back inside. No compensation was given for this major inconvenience.
Pros: This was our 3rd stay at this hotel. Hotel experiences typically reflects it's local leadership. Each time we return because the hotel personnel are so courteous and professional. Never experienced an untoward event.
Cons: Hotel staff. Professional and courteous.

Cons: They never got the cable working which was unacceptable. Will never stay there again. Kids running around in hallways up until midnight. Not a good experience at all.
Cons: Very Dated hotel

Pros: It's proximity to the airport. Shuttle bus and close to park n go
Cons: Secured parking at the hotel for long term parkers..
Pros: It was convenient, quiet, and comfortable. Staff was very pleasant and helpful.
Cons: Pool is closed, being renovated. Shuttle was great one day, but the next day, we waited 25 minutes after being told it would take about 10.
Pros: There was a free shuttle from the airport.
Cons: The room, particularly the bathroom, was dirty. The shower had a brown residue on the floor and some of the towels had brown spots on them.
Pros: Nice updates rooms, lobby nice too.
Cons: Elevator wasn't the greatest. Long hallways and a little dark. Pool was under construction?
Pros: The tall blonde man & all front desk staff, cleaning staff in hallway, and both shuttle drivers were EXCEPTIONALLY helpful and friendly. I thought the bottle of cold water on the shuttle was a really nice touch on the very hot day.
Cons: Bartender/manager printing reports on cash register completely ignored me/bar empty He Knew I was there. I even moved to side of bar and he glanced up still nothing, which was enough/rude. I left and got a lovely dinner and wine at a neighboring hotel
Pros: The ladies at the front desk were wonderful. Even at 3am, they were friendly and courteous and knowledgeable. My check-in experience was smooth and I was moved to a quiet room far away from the elevator as per my request.
Cons: The outside is scary and there are people and cars hanging around in the parking lot that maybe should not be there?
Pros: No hot tub or pool
Pros: Location; also newly remodeled
Cons: No bar at a three star hotel? We were told it was opening soon...
Pros: the accommodation nice and easy

Pros: Pretty clean hotel with no frills. The front staff was very nice and one girl was super cute
Cons: They need to vacuum everywhere
Pros: The staff- from shuttle driver to the front desk, were very kind and helpful during my stay. Their kindness outweighed tye shabbiness of the hotel.
Cons: The room could have been a little more clean; bathroom needed to be swept and the room itself needed to be vacuum. Also it wouldn't be bad for them to put a fresh coat of paint in the walls.
Pros: Front people were very nice
Cons: First room we got had lights that did not work, in the morning the restaurant wasn't able to open in time for some unsaid reasons so we were not able to eat breakfast there. The facilities seem like they haven't been updated in some time and were very outdated.

Pros: Loved the location and low price. The hotel was close. Clean place to stay right by the airport that was a good deal at the last minute. No need to spend more at other spots.
Cons: You must call the shuttle after a certain time to come pick you up, unlike everything on the website which says it runs 24/7 every 15 mins. The front desk lady was also rude.
Cons: Horrible buying experience. Was flying to Michigan to bury my mother. Connecting flight was missed due to late departing flight. Called when delay was announced, hotel nor purchasing service was willing and able to transfer reservation to a Clarion in the city we were stranded in or give a refund. Just what I need at such a time.
Pros: Staff was very helpful, shuttle was very convenient. The rooms were also clean.
Cons: For the price I expected a little more, the hotel is an old remodel and it shows as you stroll through on your way to your room.
Cons: Poor service. Called five times from airport to arrange shuttle to hotel to pick up car

Pros: Excellent front desk manager very clean room
Cons: I really liked the mgr she was very helpful
Pros: Staff they were great.
Pros: Old and dirty........
Cons: Drunk people dighting all might long in thier room next door and hallways.
Pros: Was told my room may be ready to check in at 3pm, window was stuck open. Was told maintenace would come fix but never showed. Looks good from the outside, but it's disgusting on the inside
Cons: Everything, staff rude
Pros: Absolutely NOTHING!
Cons: Drug attacks hanging around harassing guests, the tub was dirty &the shower curtain was excessively stained,I was afraid to walk barefoot on the carpet which I usually love to do and there was no iron anywhere in the hotel, 3 staff members looked for one
Pros: The toilet was not flushed of bloody tissue when we arrived. There was cobweb and crawling insects all over.
Cons: The hotel room was dirty
Pros: Friendly, helpful staff. Nice room. Good location for DTW airport.
Cons: WiFi did not work. Staff realy tried to help. Very cooperative. Rebooted modem. Did not have assess to tech who could resolve the problem. If others report same problem on different day and WIFI important to you, stay away from hotel.
Pros: I liked the location best as it met our needs not too far from airport.
Cons: The out side of the hotel was not pleasing, the sign was off the building. The attendant did not find my reservation right away and it a while to check in and my room smelled, elevator smelled.
Pros: Clean and close to the airport. Better than expected for the price. Nice older property.
Cons: VERY MUCH SO!!! I booked a 3 NIGHT STAY FOR A KING SIZE BED ROOM!THAT'S WHAT I PAID FOR! it wasn't reserved or on reserve and they gave me 2 super hard, spring poking out of the mattress, full SIZE beds.VERY DISAPPOINTED!
Stay at Travelodge Romulus Detroit Airport hotel with complimentary airport shuttle service to Detroit Metropolitan Airport. Amenities include long-term parking for a fee, complimentary breakfast and rooms with complimentary wireless internet, microwave, mini fridge, HDTV, as well as coffee and tea facilities. Points of interest are COBO Center, Gateway Golf Club, The Woodlands of Van Buren Golf Course, MGM, Motor City, Greektown, Detroit Institute of Arts, Wayne State University, University of Michigan, Marygrove College, Eastern Michigan University and University of Detroit Mercy. Pets are welcome. Restaurants are within range.
Pros: Interesting set up with small individual cottages.
Cons: There were several people outside a midnight when we checked in. One couple was sitting on top of their car smoking pot and the guy on the other side of our unit stood and watched us unload our bags and kept up a weird one sided conversation about how our car looked like a mean bug. The beds were really uncomfortable, but no bugs (I checked). The bathroom fixtures & light switches were dirty. The floor was filthy. I scooted on the white towel from the tub to sink and there was a perfect outline of my feet on the floor side of the towel. The worst was the cigarette stench. They had tried to cover it with some perfume but I awoke several times panicky that there was a fire because the cigarette smell was so intense. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
Pros: The beds were ok. Their our restaurants around the building in the same plaza. Nice early breakfast starts at 4 am for those going to the airport but you might want to pass on it. The outside design of the rooms are nicely arranged. Easy in and out with tons of parking.
Cons: The room had a heavy musty smell to it. I didn't have a great sleep as the fridge was too loud and never went off. The room was a little dirty like I saw a couple of straws on the ground (nothing major), and the table didn't look like it was clean (also not that major). Their breakfast was horrible and the coffee was so diluted with water I spit it out. The outside design of the rooms are nicely arranged. Good for just 1 night but ask for a different room if their is an odor and check that fridge or don't use it at all.
Cons: Mike at the front desk was very rude
Pros: Clean, free breakfast, good location
Cons: nothing in particular for that price.

The hotel operates a free 24 hour airport shuttle.Take advantage of our extremely comfortable beds and relax while saving money year-round with our Kids Stay Free Policy (18 and under in parent
Cons: Check-in took 1.5 hours to get a room. First four rooms assigned were already occupied upon attempted room access. Worst check-in experience in 26 years of business travel.
Pros: Counter staff were nice, check-in went smooth, and the price was decent.
Cons: The hotel (which was in the middle of an EXTREMELY messy remodel) literally looked like something out of a war zone. It was hands down the grossest, messiest construction site I have ever seen. There was rubble everywhere, mountains of large chopped down trees piled up outside, paint and stucco every where. It was completely absurd to be running a remodel in an operating hotel that looked like that.
The rooms themselves were ok, but many things were out of place, room numbers were taped to the wall beside the doors and it just felt off.
I am not usually picky about the 3-4 dozen hotel/motels I stay in each year, but this one was ridiculous.
Pros: For an early morning flight this is a fine location - return the rental car at night, sleep and shuttle to the airport in the early morning. Functional and Efficient.
Cons: The restaurant needs an update...
Pros: Our room had an air conditioner that didn't work and a leaking ceiling with a full bucket of dirty water under it. The room should have never been rented to anyone. They did move us to another room whe we asked.
Pros: Great service at front desk. Clean room and nicely renovated.
Cons: Because construction was going on it did not look very appealing when pulling in for first time. A little noisy at times.
Pros: Very comfortable beds and the rooms were pretty clean.
Cons: It was under construction, the breakfast area was a mess, cold breakfast only, my fiance got sick from an allergic reaction to something in the sheets.
Pros: The location was great and our room was very clean.
Cons: The Smoke Detectors on our floor were falling out of the ceiling.
The girl that checked us in didn't know the area, and couldn't give us any advise or help on finding a place to go for dinner.
Pros: There was nothing redeemable about this Days Inn except for the fact that they had a room for us to stay in
Cons: We had called prior to booking ahead about whether cats were allowed in the hotel. (We are moving cross country with our cat). They said yes, so we booked our hotel room with them. When I called the day of our flight to let them know we would be arriving late with our cat (our flight was delayed 5 hours), the woman on the phone yelled at me that the hotel has a no cat policy. However, on the Days Inn website, the hotel is listed as pet-friendly. They made an exception for us but I was surprised at the reaction of the front desk person on the phone.
Cons: Old and grungy feeling to the place
Pros: Employees were fantastic.
Cons: The beds were rock hard. needs some remodeling. its very outdated.
Pros: the flat screen tvs and the beds were nice
Cons: That not every room had a fridge and microwave

Cons: The fact that it was not a pool an they were remodeling
Pros: The staff were friendly and accommodating.
Cons: The room was gross. There were stains on the carpet and it was just not very clean. I called my wife and said, "You'd never stay here and you'd never walk barefoot across this carpet". She's too picky and would have immediately asked for her money back.
Pros: The Baymont Inn and Suites near the Detroit Airport is very nice and clean. The staff is very pleasant. We would stay there again when in the area.

Pros: Everything was clean, my bed was super comfortable also. You have to cal if you forgot your room key or if your a late check in. Close to a Walmart also for groceries.
Pros: Corrine, afternoon evening desk clerk, changed our room to a corner out of the way room and it was great. We were able to sleep in till 8:30, which NEVER happens.
Cons: Shower gets floor wet. Other than that it was great.
Cons: Could have used pen and paper at the desk in my room
