Gorgeous layout and design, very friendly and accomodating customer service, and incredibly clean and well maintained! Nope. Not a thing. I was extremely impressed.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. This was a brand name hotel amongst several shady hotels that were close to my meetings. I'll stay at a full service hotel and drive further next time. Slept with my clothes on to avoid contact with the room as much as possible. Extremely thin walls - it seemed to be an old apartment complex that was converted to a hotel - the front desk was in what I assume used to be the clubhouse.
Nice Staff, well designed room for an extended stay hotel There were a couple things in the room that weren't particularly well kept, e.g. loose shower curtain rail, broken light bulbs, broken closet sliding door.
It was convenient to where we needed to go. We asked the girl at the front desk if the hotel used a specific uber person. She said yes, 20 dollars each way to the local pub. We downloaded and utilized uber ourselves and paid 5 dollars each way.
Close to our destination. The noise level from truck traffic was intense! Sound proofing the rooms would enhance guests stay. The room is overpriced for the quality provided.
I liked how friendly the staff was in helping me to find my way around town.
The hotel was clean, quiet and convenient. The morning breakfast was nice. The bedding for the pull-out couch was mismatched and old. They did not replace our coffee that I used in the room and had to go down to get it from the reception.
Rooms had lots of space closets and mirrors. Nice layout. Walking outside in the new jersey weather to get a cup of milk or coffee for breakfast in the morning is incredibly inconvenient.
location and layout of the rooms and access to parking facilities. Toilet overflowed and the bathroom door squeaked loudly...
My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Resident Inn in Saddle River, NJ. First, the area is extremely nice (hey, the gas station acutally pump your gas for you...nice touch). The hotel staff was nice except the front desk supervisor...her customer service skills could use some help. They were a little short of help on Sunday morning and breakfast was a little to picked over. Would recommend!!!!
Nice clean room. Good comfortable bed. Good looking grounds. The place looks kept up--well taken care of. Eggs at breakfast were not hot or even warm but breakfast was mostly decent. Pool could have been open even though it was May 17. I would have used it. Windows only open 2 inches and I like fresh air.
IF THERE WAS SOMETHING HIGHER THAN A TEN ID PUT IT UP HERE!!!!
The shuttle was very good. The rooms also. I didn't liked the restaurant in the main entrance. It is not good to put it there. The design of the restaurant i also didnt liked. The lady she was the chief of the restaurant was not very kindly.
Nothing No water in pool Gym terrible Had no room key for us upon arrival and for a few hours until my buddy got loud with someone about it and that majestically we got a card Rooms were dirty Desk chair was all messed up They provided corona with no limes put in a ice bucket upside down not even with the body submerged in ice Straight up terrible
I booked a room with two beds, and got a room with one! Manager told me she would drastically reduce my room rate for the inconvenience, was busy at the moment and promised to contact me by cell phone as soon as she could that evening. Manager never called, and never answered multiple voice mails I left her. poor customer service!!!! As if the above was not bad enough, our room was directly behind the elevators on the 14th floor, and the loud, constant, noise made it impossible to sleep. Asked for any other room, and was told they were sold out. The hotel should never book room 1411, the noise from the elevators is unacceptable.
ITs proximity to the Meadowlands - liked how they embraced the Springsteen show, and pumped his music through the lobby and outdoors while we were all arriving. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Check in was quite long because of the sheer number of people arriving at the same time, but they made it fun with the music and an "impromptu" pre-show party in the lobby.
Staff was friendly Nothing.
Staff in general very nice! Attitude with the guest attendant at the Restaurant, Rooms are not clean enough to be a Marriott, disappointed!!
We stayed here for our first NFL game, giants vs Jaguars. There was a shuttle to the game that was significantly cheaper than paying for parking and we didn't have to deal with the traffic. To our surprise, many of the giants were staying in the hotel as well. We meet quite a few of the team and even shared an elevator with one of them. We upgraded to the city view for $10 and it was well worth it. We will definitely be back. While the room was gorgeous and comfortable, it was odd there was no mini fridge, and no where to get drinks. The gift shop was closed when we got back from the game and the vending machines didn't work. We were so thirsty!
Staff No water pressure. Toilets questionable. Shower weak. Needs some engineering. Do a little food on Bruce Springsteen nite. The shows always last late. Great staff
I made one phone call and u charge me $33.00 for one & $7 for the next one.
We booked one "king standard room" and we received a double instead, the room was cold and humid and not too clean.
The hotel staff had difficulities to confirm my reservation due to last minutes booking. However the Director of Guest Relaltion very helpfull and support during my stay
Clean hotel, comfortable beds and very quiet. The staff was nice. We stayed 2 nights and I wouldn't have minded if our stay was longer. There aren't many choices in this immediate area, but judging by the looks of the other hotel I saw, this is the best. Our room was at the end of the hotel, so maybe that was the culprit, but the wifi was terrible. It constantly dropped in and out to the point where it was effectively useless. Breakfast was supposed to end at 10:30 and my wife and I got there just before 10 and they had already closed and were setting up for lunch. Ours and the key card of another guest stopped working on the 2nd day, which was a little annoying, but not that big a deal as it was easily reactivated.
It was a very comfortable ad pleasant experience. The rooms are modern and very clean.
Desk Staff and Cleaning Staff very helpful Not noted
Everything.... Was the softest bed ive slept on... Bad for the back.
We enjoyed our stay very much. It was clean, comfortable, beautiful view and very accommodating! Thank you!
Location Road conditions in lot need improvement
The beds were comfortable and had the fastest elevator I have ever seen. The view of mountains was nice. The pool and gym were very small. When u look at that beautiful exterior of the building u would think u were getting the best of everything for the money u spend. There is no security in the parking lot either..
nice view very very noisy doors, one rude front desk staff with attitude, unorganised management. secluded nothing within walking distance. issues with lifts
The king bed is very comfortable. The internet is not fast enough to stream videos, and juices in breakfast is not that fresh except orange juice, waffle is firm like rock, little choice.
I liked everything about it I felt at home. Nothing
Everything from the location to the meals include with the service.
Overall just a average hotel Staff limited English skills. Elevator smelled of vomit. Rate didn't match for condition, should be cheaper.
From the moment we arrived until we left, the front staff was extremely helpful and courteous. Felix especially was very knowledgeable with bus schedules and Metros/trains leaving the area to go downtown NYC. Overall great time at this hotel. We forgot to bring bathing suits, don't forget that if you come!!
The staff are nice, too. Too bad the highway noise is the most annoying, but other than that, everything is goood. April
everything else Slow Wifi..
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very comfortable stay. The pool and hot tub closes early.
Quiet Pillows too soft
Everything was just perfect....
I was visiting New York amd should have stayed in New York
The staff was amazing, especially Yun. They were incredibly friendly and helpful.
Very nice Hotel Staff :) Very comfort like home...
Staff was exceptionally friendly. We had our two yorkies with us and they were treated so nicely by the staff! It was a pleasure staying at the Homewood Suites - the rooms were so clean and comfortable. N/A
I enjoyed the room and comfort and the bathroom was really nice. Quiet and nice place to relax and some places around to go get food and a shopping area down the street. The breakfast was great and excellent with a waffle maker and sausage and eggs etc... Overall this was a great stay. The only thing I did not care for was the bed not a fan of how it makes you sink in and the pillows were not that comfortable. Overall it was comfortable.
Staff very helpful and polite
Very friendly and helpful cleaning staff. Rooms were clean. Only one elevator that takes you to the wrong floor frequently. Always a line at the elevator forced most people to use the stairs. This is horrible considering there's only three floors. Tried to have breakfast in the lobby with my children at 8:00 am but the lobby was full of people pounding back beers. Power went out at one point at the hotel. I've stayed many times at Hampton Inns around the country and have come to expect a certain standard. I am usually very satisfied with my stay but these issues along with others left me very disappointed. Not the worst place I've stayed but not up to par with any Hampton Inns I've stayed in.
Hotel is absolutely beautiful. Staff was very friendly, attentive and extremely courteous. Couldn't be happier with this hotel selection.
Staff was very accommodating with a special request Zero
It is set in a quiet locale The bathroom wallpaper is peeling off, the party door to the adjoining room couldn't be properly locked at all, there was no refrigerator nor a microwave oven of any kind in the room, the windows were drafty, the decor wasn't modern, the chair was worn.
Lovely grounds, staff, good breakfast, nice rooms
Great location. Looks majestic from outside. Bathroom was smelly with nauseous odor that filled room. Called maintenance, they sprayed deodorant. Left exhaust fan running all the time to prevent odor from coming back into room. Jacuzzi had chlorine and pH issues. Hopefully it was isolated instance.
The location was beautiful and convenient. The room was small, furniture old. Shower tile moldy. A/C loud and hall noises kept us awake all night. Husband got food poisoning at hotel lunch, & front desk staff showed no concern & charged me for 2 aspirin & coke. Never staying here again!
I didnt like that the elevator was broken amd that my bathroom smelled and the house keeper just came and sprayed some freshener and when I came back to the room it still smelled horrible. I wouldnt reccomend to any one.
The staff was excellent 1st put into handicapped room. Upon request they moved me into regular room, in morning I couldnt control the water temp and couldn't take a shower & couldn't turn water off. So couldnt shower before work. problem was later resolved when i returned.
The decor and ambiance in this hotel is worth every penny! Quality hotel and very friendly staff!
great location / atmosphere. older and needed some tlc.
Excellent location for my travel schedule. Accommodating staff. Comfortable bed/pillows. Lovely golf course view. Handicapped room not requested. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. Shower tiles and sink area required better cleaning/bleach. Windows very difficult to open for fresh air. Windows and frames dirty.
the Wi-Fi ishard to connect
Great staff For what they offer for breakfast it should be free.
The lobby and business center looked inviting but I didn't have time to use it. The thermostat wasn't working and the room was cold. The only resolution was extra blankets. Also, the bathroom sink had hairs in it that definitely did not belong to me. There were hairs in those extra blankets, too.

I did not like that the bathrooms provide zero privacy with their windows on the bathroom doors. If anyone walked by the bathroom they could look in and see you going to the bathroom or taking a shower!
Staff was great They charge for coffee
The location was in a very nice area and the room was what I would expect from a Courtyard. The hotel overall was nice. While the room itself was fine, there were a few major watchouts. There was a MAJOR stain on the large chair in the room (we left a note next to it) and the sheets also had a large stain/sweat ring (we had to get new sheets, it was gross).
Clean, nice room, great clean bathroom with a huge vanity & mirror. Big TV, nice desk, nice sofa. The hotel restaurant's bar was closed but it was pretty late, lol
The room was comfortable and clean. It was also designed well. No
Ambience. Large, spacious. Decorated beautifully. They took my charge for incidentals, and then charged it for $20.to make sure it could be used and then credited it back 4 days later. I never had any hotel do this before.
Great location. 2 night stay, shower was broke, said it would be repaired while we were out. Never happened. The pool was a bit slimey and only 4 feet deep. Super loud people in the hallway at 2 in the morning .
Everything seemed clean and relatively new. The hotel needs better noise insulation. We could hear anything that happened in the hallway all night, and while in the shower I could hear the next guest over singing in his shower. The mattress was also as hard as the floor, but it was brand new.
Great find for the price. Nothing fancy but the room was clean and the bed was comfortable Toilet seat was broken and the curtains didn't fully close
Parking The room was very dreary. Bath complitly broken. Tiles are broken on the wall as well on the floor. Dead cockroaches inside the bathroom. linens Had cigarette burns on them.
Room was not in best of shape, bathroom dirty, refrigerator look like they just pull it out of the dumpster, just not a clean place to stay
staff was friendly & accommodating. The fire alarm was beeping in our room & the maint. person came & changed the batteries. We had no remote for the TV. I called the front desk & they sent maint. again with a remote. indoor pool area was a mess. Paint chipping off of pool. Pool water murky. We did not use it, and I was looking forward to it. Garbage can was overflowing.
The price was very low so for a one night stay was ok. Room was comfortable. Although the floor was non smoking there was a strong smell of stale cigarettes in the air which gave everything an unclean feeling. Hotel felt old and worn but for the price I paid cant complain.
The bed was confortable. There were garbage in the room possibly from previous guesses. The facility looks very old.
Front desk personel are great.....hotel is reasonably new..... Hotel is very quiet.... I coujldn't figure out how to use the TV. No directions... I wanted to order a movie...but couldn't.... Very very strange....

THE HOTEL IS NEW...SO THERE SHOULD BE NOTHING WRONG....IT IS CLEAN...I DID NOT GET MY ROOM CHOICE EVEN THOUGH I CHECKED IN AFTER 3 PM.... TV IS TERRIBLE....ALMOST ALL THE CHANNELS SAY ' SEARCHING FOR SIGNAL'....THIS WAS NOT AN ISOLATED INCIDENT...EACH AND EVERY TIME I STAY AT THIS HOTEL IT IS THE SAME THING....THE FRONT DESK STAFF ACKNOWLEDGED THAT THERE IS AND THERE HAS BEEN A PROBLEM !!!

Very modern looking and greatnlocation The Tv did not have all working channels
Location At check in, desk clerk gave me a late checkout. At noon, different desk clerk called and rudely demanded I leave immediately or be charged for an extra day. The night clerk did not leave a note that she had given me a late checkout. Unacceptable.
Nice design of lobby and rooms, comfortable beds, dual showerheads. No complaints.
Clean room Shower head was falling off

Quick check in nice room Highway noise woke me up throughtout the nighht, no shelves in shower for shampoo, products
Location to access highway General appearance needs updating Breakfast $13
TV wasn't working. I thought they would either deduct something from my bill or give me something towards next visit. I asked at the desk when I checked out but he ignored my request.
Location was good. Toilet had pee in it that wasn't flushed when I entered the room. The walls are thin and I could hear the loud teen girl on the phone telling guys where her room was them I could hear them In the room. I had to leave the tv on and AC on to drown out the noise. Bed was hard. Coffee maker Had old coffee still in it. Not what I ecpected from "Hilton".
All the things I want in a business hotel -- quick check in, clean room without signs of prior guest, a desk to York at with several plugs for charging things, decent wifi and an acceptable ( far from great) concierge. Concierge good but with a little effort and money could be much better. Was definitely better quality food and more variety before this hotel changed owners a year ago or so.
The place was clean and the staff was friendly. It was a complete ripoff. They charge luxury prices for a generic hotel abutting the Garden State Parkway. Nothing is included with your stay and 'incidentals' such as food, drinks, and internet are exorbitant. You can pay half as much and get far more at most hotels.
The front desk lady who checked me in was so warm in welcoming me, offering the cookies for me and my family. Valerie in breakfast bistro is truly the sunshine everyone needs in the morning. Thanks for her bubbly personality to make me smile and want to come back to eat breakfast. Will love to come back to this hotel again.
If your there for a NYC trip it is close the George Washington Bridge 10 min by car. very clean, friendly service, great hot breakfast, there is coffee ,tea, apple & orange juice, apples/fruit all day and night in lobby (a nice touch) mini fridge, microwave in room makes it a great place to stay. entering hotel from 46 can be a challenge but go to gas station entrance. on the way back from nyc going west on 46 i just would pass the hotel and go to laurel st and turn around and go back east on 46 it was usually late with not much traffic when we returned to hotel so it was very easy instead of the big loop that GPS sends you on. I WOULD FOR SURE STAY HERE AGAIN!!!
Great stay....tough to get to if coming East on 46. That is an accident waiting to happen big time. Not enough/Big enough entrance signs at the entryways before the Exxon. Once there....everything was very good indeed! Kudos to staff....I have stayed here on several occasions and the staff has ALWAYS been great!
the location is super, the price is good, the room is so clean, though the breakfast is not so excellent. (How about changing the bread ?) I love orange juice on the lobby. I always stay this hotel whenever I come to NJ/ NY area.
I was there for my anniversary and it was a wonderful stay. I think next year we are going to stay longer.
The Hampton Inn is always, hands down, our first choice when it comes to staying away from home. The Comfort is second to none. Price and value is very competitive but most importantly, the locations of the hotels is what really lures us in. Thanks The Kellys
Second time staying here and it gets better every time. Theresa at the front answered all of my questions and helped me through my reservations. Very welcoming, extremely clean and comfortable and convenient for everything. Breakfast was great. We will definitely be going back again and again!
Overall, this was a good hotel. It was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, it has free internet in the rooms, and free and filling breakfasts. My only complaint would have to be its location. It's relatively close to a lot of things, but it's the most annoying hotel to get to. It's literally right next to the highway, so the only way to get to it from the opposite direction is to get off the highway and turn around. This isn't so bad, except that you have to quickly cross a lane of traffic to get to the hotel. This also means of course, that you can hear the highway from the hotel rooms. It's not so bad that you can't sleep, but it's something to think about.
Family trip to visit a relative in Union City. Excellent deal for the price. My wife loved the breakfast and the kids loved the pool. Good AC, clean room and bathroom, checkout time at noon is a plus. My two kids slept on the queen size sofa bed. We loved it so much that I am taking the time to write this review :-) Highly recommended. Hilton quality at affordable rate.
I have stayed at many hotels and I must say this hotel has been The Best. The staff was extremely friendly and made my family feel welcome, we stayed 11 nights and there was not one staff member who didn't have a smile on their face every single day. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. There was a situation with our toilet and Matt kindly made sure it was fixed immediately. The breakfast was amazing, and the girl made sure it was ready by 6:00 am sharp. The beds were super comfortable and clean, my husband could not have been more pleased. The entrance to the hotel is a bit tricky as it's located by a main road, but you can drive in through the Exxon gas station next door and it's fine. Although there's a road near by it was really quiet, and the location is really safe. We noticed some super cute bunnies living out on the property next door, they come out at night. I cannot get over how professional and friendly the staff was, Max and Sarah were great. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Close enough to the George Washington Bridge to put Manhatten at your feet by car. Public transport is not a stregnth from here, but the quiet, cleanliness, friendly service, and impressive breakfast buffet make this modestly priced hotel a driver's dream. It is adjacent to the New Jersey Turnpike and a straight shot to the GWB down NJ Rt 46. Just watch yourself entering and exiting the hotel parking lot across the Turnpike off ramp. Better to use the Exxon station for entrance and egress.
