Pros. The. Boutique feet decor
Cons. Could have done a little preventative maintenance on the toilet it was clogged I called front desk they sent someone to plunge it
Pros. Staff was unbelievably attentive. When they say, “If you forgot something at home, we’ll get it for you”, they went beyond any expectation I could have had. Not once, but twice. Restaurant Bombara is a top class place, a play that other hotels should follow. Put a great place to eat under your roof. Don’t make it solely about margins for the overall hotel. Bring in a motivated exec chef to do something special.
Cons. 5th time in the hotel over 6 years. Still looking for what I don’t like
Pros. Room, location, bed, view
Cons. Girl that checked us in put us in the wrong room and when told did it again. I went to remedy and was told that hotels.com could not reserve the room I requested and that I would need to request refund from them. I went back to wrong room, called hotels.com and miraculously the correct room opened up! Yeah for hotels.com
Pros. It was clean and centrally located.
Cons. TL;DR We were overcharged for the room. The room was dark and tiny. We were "upgraded" to a smaller, darker room. Don't stay here. Paying via priceline was $40 more than the hotel website advertised. On a night when the hotel was nearly empty, we were given an awkward corner room that was poorly lit and the size of a closet. Front desk was nice enough to "upgrade" us.... to a smaller and darker yet equally uncomfortable corner room. The robes were threadbare, faded leopard print, and gross. It was so terrible that we questioned whether we were on Candid Camera. I've been a lifelong Kimpton devotee but never again. There are so many great hotel options in SLC. Don't waste your time or money here.
Pros. My husband and I enjoy staying here because it's always modern, clean, sophisticated and welcoming. They are so friendly and the rooms have these fun and creative amenities, like yoga mats & animal print bathrobes. We often have overnight lay-overs and roadtrip pit-stops in Salt Lake City and the Kimpton Monaco never disappoints.
Cons. No complaints
Pros. Location, friendly staff, decor
Cons. Room 708 must be very close to ventsbof some sort because there is a hum going on the whole day and night, which could affect quality or sleep.
Pros. Well decorated, nice overall.
Cons. Other people's showers so loud it kept me up, knocking on my door when I have do not disturb tag hanging, if you arrive late at night your reservation may disappear, parking is stupid expensive considering cost of room, no parking for large vehicles.
Pros. Restaurant was very good - except for the dogs. Staff was helpful and friendly
Cons. Dogs
Pros. Loved it here! Great place to stay! The staff is so friendly, definitely has a high end feel. Furnishings are very nice and unique layout. Very clean. Bed is very comfortable. I highly recommend getting room service. The restaurant in the hotel is to die for. They accept pets and welcome them with open arms. Valet service for $24 per night is very worth it! Lovely hotel!
Pros. I would definitely recommend it . I am going to stay more over there
Cons. Everything was great.
