I rented the car for my wife, who was traveling with our 2 kids. SixT was not the lowest price mini-van. However the Kayak site said the car would be available at the airport, while all the other rental places said "shuttle". I was disappointed that my wife had to get on a shuttle with 2 little kids. Also, I was quoted a price of $152. Just last week I rented with Alamo and they gave us car-seats. This time, we had to pay $30 each for car seats. I strongly suggest you rent at a more reputable company. If you do rent here, which is understandable because they are so cheap, please be very careful. Make sure you have the time to get to their far off airport location, to deal with their lack of staff or service. Make sure you are ok renting a beat up car that is likely 10 years old. And finally make sure you cover yourself with copious notes and photos because their business model seems to be to get damaged cars and then blame people for damage that was clearly already there. The car was lovely but that staff at Sixt was rude on both pick up and drop off. They acted as if they were doing me a favor by renting me a car. And, adding insult to injury, they over charged wildly ($600) for a tiny scrape on the HUBCAP (where it touched a curb during parallel parking)!!! The pick up was perfect the drop off was horrible. Fort Lauderdale airport there is no one to tend to you. There was only one worker and 10 cars ahead of me. I had a flight to catch and then found out there was no shuttle and had to call an Uber and just barely made my plane. I’ve been trying to reach someone about somethings specific about the drop off and it’s been almost 36 hours and I cannot reach anyone. It’s terribleReviewed Mar 23 2022

I had to cancel my Rent-A-Car one month before. Due to the fact that I had to pay for it when I booked it in September. My credit card said that the credit would be coming back from sixt. They have no customer service number. It disconnects you. I have emailed multiple emails . My response was They are looking into it and they never get back to me.
